Yes it will work as long as it doesn't have any cracked. This its terrible design , I wouldn't buy another Fluval my self.

@@JoeHigh-lc4is Same, gave this a go, used different rubber bands, gasket itself is not damaged, just thinned over time, didn't work. Still, was worth a try though :)
