One of the things I love about watching ya'll is that you genuinely seem to love your day-to-day life. Most people have a job they tolerate so that they can have the life they want outside of their job. Ya'll seem to have jobs that are a fundamental part of your life & an extension of your lives, which makes dealing with the work much more satisfying. That is a blessing just to watch.

Hey Mike, a quick shout out to thank you, Erin, and the rest of your family for doing the 30 day vlog videos. I'm an IT worker (I work on computers) and the company I work for sent us all home a week ago (work from home program). At first I thought this was going to be great. I quickly found out how stair crazy a person can get when they are stuck at home. I know this will eventually pass, but wanted to thank you all for posting each day, giving me something to look foward to after a long day (not at the office)! Thanks again.

My family raised beef steers from the time I was a baby till I was about 20. We would have 1-4 at a time since we only had about 2.5 acres and my dad worked fulltime and traveled a lot. The calves were just a few days old when we got them. My favorite part was making up the bottle and feeding the calves. Hardest part, of course, was when they were taken for slaughter, but I really enjoyed the delicious beef!!! This is where my love for cows started and why my half bath is all decorated with cows! Oh, really enjoying the daily vlogs!!!!

So...cows born on your ranch....bread on your ranch....moved in your trailer (taxes paid) with your truck (taxes paid) and now you have to pay taxes on a critter that you have been raising yourself...to process for your own store...that you charge sales tax....so I guess I'm wondering the justification for the "inspectors cut"....seems wrong...please explain what the fee is and where it goes?

All commercial vehicles in Florida renew their registration in July which should make it easier but you get sidetracked and it's amazing how easy it is to forget trivial things like that. Guys, TEFF GRASS is the key to huge gains on steers.. Trust me.. Mix that with BMR Sudan grass and Triticale and say goodbye to buying feed. Then you can sale at value added prices for grass fed beef 🥩 and spring calving on Teff, and chicory, and a new/old grass called sainfoin will almost guarantee 600lbs at wean.

I’m hearing more and more beef producers use the term harvested over slaughter. Just words but we are grass farmers harvesting a seasonal crop.👨‍🌾

How do you not get attached to the animals? They are so sweet. How does that not break your heart?

Do the paddocks ever go green.

00:15 and again at 11:15...Snackin' on Premium Beef Jerky and before it's available for public access !! Erin, (Your Boss) sez, "your strippin' the profits from the Farm Store operations, cuz Jerky sells out fast and at top dollar." If your hungry, snack on some stew meat or a Big 'Ole Roast since those are slow movers !!! And it's cow kake for dessert..Both you and Bambi !!
    OH YUM.
