Been missing your videos. Guess I got used to the daily vlogs. Understand why that's a little too much with all the work you have to do but it's good you're back. Thank you for sharing your time with us. Tell the bulls that Spock says "live long and prosper!" If not it's market time! 😁 Six miles is a long way for a big ol bull to run. Lincoln makes a really cute cowboy.
Mike we have missed you but you really brought it with this video. Love seeing Mike and family still on the ranch! Lincoln was so cute! Send you all the best!! Love my Teriyaki Jerky!!
Me and my Wife found your videos by accident.fell in love with it right from the beginning. We are learning so much.very exciting not ignorant of all the hard work! Keep streaming we love you guys!!!!
I was having an issue with bloat myself and had just watched your video on calf bloat so I tried baking soda and water, almost blacked out from drinking what tasted like a battery but it instantly stopped the gas.
Hi again MIKE Lots of bull huh! Lol And the circle of life continues on the ranch... You always are in motion Mike starting and finishing projects. Never a dull moment and you surely don't collect any dust! Hoping from now through next summer the weather will give you a break and hay will be plentiful. Stay safe and healthy and hi to Erin.
Omg, Lincoln is just a cutie, he reminds me of my little brother when we had the dairy farm always wanting to help with anything to do with cows...great video, so happy I found your channel...love Peggy 💗 ♥ 💓
Man, I can't hear that song without thinking of the little one in the calf warmer who didn't make it. I believe that was the very first video of yours that I saw, for some reason it came across my recommendeds, and I've been here ever since. Just was a weird feeling hearing that song and that immediately coming to my mind.
I would love to take the horses and gather the bulls. I know it is easier for you to use the 4 wheelers. And, it saves you time. Love your videos. Hugs, Bobbi
Hey, you do three beautiful kids. Good morning. wishing everyone another amazing day with full of Blessings. Take care, Wash your hands more often. Mask, distancing. 🙏🏻😷🥰👍💕🎈🌹❤️☀️😇📲👼🙏🏻😷 Love you all.
Are they your bulls or just renting? You guys have a huge property. I’m impressed with how much work you and your family put into this farm. I watch some of your videos and think I would have probably walked away many times. I’m lazy too. Thank you for your hard work.
That stuff is systemic , it doesn't really work by just contact , It kills internal parasites too , ( nasty stuff ,you do not want to get it on your skin )
My stepdad always joked that at the beginning of the season the bulls were all too happy to get out with the ladies... But by the end of the season they wanted nothing more than to GET OUT OF THERE!
I like your spaced out videos. I know you've probably said this 100 times, but how many adult cows are there? What is the bull to cow ratio? Is there any fear of inbreeding or is the likelyhood low?
Absolutely! Just get to know your local farmers! Most will hold onto 1 or 2 for themselves, so if you're asking, they'll happily hold another back from sale...might request a deposit though...re than one has been burned by someone saying that they were going to buy a half/full or even quarter and then not. Without an extra freezer, that's a LOT of extra meat to have to deal with!
Do the bulls form their own harems through the course of their work year? 4 bulls give you 80% to 90% breeding success; would a 5th bull raise that figure?
I’m sure they account for all the cows to be bred in the several months the bulls are in the herd. That small percentage of open cows could be either young first time heifers, a cow that miscarried, or an old cow that is not fertile any more. Another bull won’t fix those issues.
Hey Mike u mentioned cows that are not pregnant leaves the ranch. When I started watching the herd was about 150, now it's about 115. If you keep culling at some point you may end up with low numbers. When do you do replacement's
Andel Rampersad , they keep as many as they can afford to feed. In years where there is little hay they have little choice but to sell a bunch. When there is an abundance of hay, you keep as many as you can. It’s a trade off but they really don’t have much to say about the most important factor: the weather. Then there is the market forces of what cows or beef bring on the market. As Mike said in an earlier video, they are working every side hustle they can think of to add earnings for the ranch.
I understand that but as some point a plan must be put into place to have replacement heifers or cows so that the balance is maintained. What am curious to know if there is such
Hi Mike, I thought you had more bulls than that. Did you sell some I know the two black ones are new. Saw that vlog. Any way, have a good night. Glad you are all ok. Tell Matt have a safe trip home.

I like your videos, from Southern California.

Sorry to ask why dont you spray near their tails ? Flies LOVE sitting near cow's tail ends
That stuff is systemic , it doesn't really work by just contact , It kills internal parasites too , ( nasty stuff ,you do not want to get it on your skin )
Did Matt find a place there in Wyoming, i think he will enjoy it. Do your bulls have scours, looked a little runny. This was a fun video Mike
You would benefit from a good drone to pre-track your bulls.
Bravo!!
Welcome to Our Wyoming Life, how are the pigs doing? Are they still breaking out?
I think Mike talked about before, but how does he do replacement cows?
M Bertram we usually buy from neighbors to keep genetics fresh :)
My stepdad always joked that at the beginning of the season the bulls were all too happy to get out with the ladies... But by the end of the season they wanted nothing more than to GET OUT OF THERE!
I love bulls
Is there a GPS tracking device you could attach to the bulls to quickly know where they are ?
there is. It is called Bulljack
Awesomeness
You need some Binos for sorting bulls man ha
are those two bucks that are chasing at 4:56 on your ranch??
I like your spaced out videos. I know you've probably said this 100 times, but how many adult cows are there? What is the bull to cow ratio? Is there any fear of inbreeding or is the likelyhood low?
Boho it is so cold
How do you avoid in line breeding or do you not try to avoid it?
How many acres do you farm it’s hugh
Is there such a thing as grain finished beef direct from a rancher/farmer? Or will it always involve a feedlot?
Absolutely! Just get to know your local farmers! Most will hold onto 1 or 2 for themselves, so if you're asking, they'll happily hold another back from sale...might request a deposit though...re than one has been burned by someone saying that they were going to buy a half/full or even quarter and then not. @@cryingbroken8824 Thanks! I'll ask the place we've been getting grass beef.
did the neighbors bull get sorted back to his home?
I like the white and black one. What is it?
Can you micro chip the Bulls to make them easier to find??
Best video ever!
The last bull out must've been the one that fathered the calf 17:11 , well that's what I wanna believe
Really enjoyable video, was one of the red bulls a bit lame on one leg ?
Do the bulls form their own harems through the course of their work year?
4 bulls give you 80% to 90% breeding success; would a 5th bull raise that figure?
I'm sure it would but bulls can be expensive a good one atleast

Hey Mike how did your new bull look after his 1st time of breeding.? Avg, a little thin, normal does he get picked on alot ?
I think the bulls are happy to be back to the "Bull Cave". 9 months to rejuvenate.
How do we send Mike music for his videos?
No Wrecks.... Good day moving BULLS...
COOLBULL
Are the antelope at the ranch all year round they are so pretty but taste real good love your vlogs
