I still believe Manchester united should sign calafiori NOT branthwaite.
He's cheaper and a better player overall.
Shouldn't we maybe wait till half way through the season to judge the transfer window?
We had high expectations for other players then crash and burn.. player that instantly comes to mind. Radamel falcao and then next is Alexis Sanchez where I and everybody most likely expected instant success..

None of them are overhyped. None of them will cost over the top. Good attitudes unlike our former signings such as Sancho, Antony, Di Maria.. We need passionate players and they’re just that

Ugarte moved to psg for 60 mil literally 1 year ago. I don’t know how his value has fallen that much.

What about both of their aerial prowess or lack there of ? The PL is full of fast, physical strikers that look to 'bully' center halves, look at Solanke for instance, or Calvert-Lewin..or most prominently, the leeds-born, northern norwegian currently employed by the biggest club in manchester ?

My opinion with Zirkzee is that Bruno will be able to be rested at last.. We could play a 4-2-2-2 formation. Mainoo + Ugarte. Rashford + Garnacho wide. Hojlund + Zirkzee down the middle. Zirkzee coming to play short while Hojlund plays last defender
@@cjsavage2584 i feel the same way about that. But that does beg the question what is the use of all that money spent on mount. I really dont see him as strong enough to play the 8.
Similarly with mctominay he does have a goal in him in the bruno/zirkzee position but he lacks the quality to play as a proper midfielder

At this point in time, these is the sort of signings we can best hope to get. Once Ineos has clear the necessary deadwood and build good foundation, then we can talk about signing top quality players. One step at a time now.
Up front we needed a true goal slaughter like Guirassie at 17 mill who can give 34 goals a season n 10 assists or so.
Zerkzee is a mid number 10 who does well with the ball but doesnt score much.
Ugarte is just a defender in the midfield.
No goals coming.

You guys need to stop overthinking these things. Zirkzee or Hojlund will start and rotate probably throughout the season. We will not change formation, he will not play in the 10 and move Bruno. He will start at striker or he will start as the backup until someone proves they are clearly our best option.

@@sadiqamin3126 he can but I don’t think we’re buying him to play on the wing. Maybe in a couple of matches but he’s a 9 and we only have 2. We need striker options off the bench and need to be able to rotate.
Get these three on board they are still young and have a lot of room to grow and learn and be world class these 3 would be amazing singing + they are not that expensive
In addition to the 3 players you listed Sam, we can't sleep on quality players with technical capabilities and pace such as Zubimendi, Youssuf Fofana, Rabiot, Calafiori who an absolute steal and would strength and depth, and get rid of dead wood suchi as Lindelof, Maguire, Casemiro, McTominay, Van De Beek and Eriksen

It's also a matter of having enough homegrown players, which is why we'll probably keep Maguire and McTominay. I don't think McT is skilled enough but he can work as a sub.

it would be alright, I would however advise taking a look at those in smaller leagues, get that player for 10 or 15 million which is decent for a squad player
The only problem with this is if they're ready for the step up coz this is United
If and when Rashford has rough periods next season, Garnacho will go to LW and Zirkzee will come in at RW. If and when Hojlund has rough periods, Zirkzee will be a straight swap. Seems pretty straightforward to me. That said, I could also see Hojlund and Zirkzee playing as dual strikers, Bruno playing a false 9, and Mainoo, Ugarte and another mid as a straight 3 in midfield.
need really good LB and RB for that system
Zirkzee can play as a winger as well he is gakpo type player can play as a 8 as well
Signing these 3 players for reasonable prices & wages would be definitely be a solid 8/10 for me as we'll be strengthening 3 key positions with players that've got a point to prove & have that right attitude & character. Still feel like we need another midfielder & CB on top dependant on who leaves tho
I could easily see Zirkzee fitting in a 442 alongside Hojlund. With Garnacho/Mount, Ugarte, Mainoo and Bruno in midfield.

I would say 7 for those 3, key positions and zirkzee allows for rotation and keeping fresh
I think the only issue is that we still have the same front force, which suggests that the same patterns will emerge. Only difference is that mount and now amad might come into bolster, along with zirkzee as our backup striker, but that’s still more/less the same. We are also relying on all these players to suddenly not get injured this season and that last season was a complete one off.
I like the formation you have. I would switch Garnacho to the left and Hojlund to the right. They would cut into goal and then overlapping the fullbacks for width.
Im worried about leftback, is Shaw really going to play all season after barely playing?

Koopmeiners from Atalanta would be really good player with Mainoo. Also De Light would be decent, but he is not as good many think. I saw lot of him at Juventus and mammamia those mistakes, almost every game. Zirkzee is a gem! He is not pure goal scorer, but he will make the team better and keep defenders busy! Your videos quality is one of the best I have seen and I really enjoy them. I’m a Inter fan, but I’m interested to see what ManU is cooking, with new owner and staff! Keep up the good work!
That would be a good start to the Ineos era, although the most important part of our transfer business this summer isn't the arrivals...
They will definitely be signing two centre backs. Have too!!! INIOS said three windows, so I reckon they're aiming for six incoming this window, ofc reliant on outgoings

If we sign those 3, I’d give it a 6/10 assuming we move some players on too. Some cheap signings on top of them would take that score up quickly though, those 3 are a damn good start. A second midfielder: Rabiot for free, Youssouf Fofana for 25 mil., etc. A left sided defender: Calafiori for 40, Lucumi for 30, Inacio for 50, Branthwaite for 50, etc. Each of those positions would take it up 1.5 for me. I think signing 5 players is reasonable and would be a really, really good window.
I definitely think with the personnel we’re going for he’s trying to implement what he did duriing Ajax 21/22 season

You can't have 2 midfielders who are both not good on the ball and play possession football.
Ugarte and Bruno in a possession based midfield! not working!
You need atleast 2 press resistant midfielders around Fernandes to make it work.

In my opinion in the defence we need two signings. I prefer DE LIGT and RONALD ARAUJO. R Araujo is finest player for united because he will play right back position as well. He have a leadership quality and very hard working player.
If these are the only signings, then its a 5//10 at best. We are an injury or two away from another crisis state where we play a sub-par team for a lot of games and struggle to implement any kind of style of play. Hopefully there is more and we wont be against a surprise signing or two, players we never considered or maybe didnt even know about.
I think the window will be an 8/10 tbh if we get all 3 as these targets has the potential to be important cogs in the system it looks like Ineos is building a team around ten hags philosophy will the impact around transfers happen this week maybe not because of the international competitions but will happen slowly through the summer the good news is at least eth has the structure around him as that happened very quick. soon as the international competitions is done we will progress quickly on transfer deals ingoings and also out goings as international competitions has an impact on transfer windows

Calafioli for 50m is very good deal at left back and can cover for Licha but first we have to sell shaw.

This a one hell of a Back Four
One part of Ugartes game is that he is quite good at driving the ball forward and what we all know an excellent ballwinner and his defensive positioning is world class. He is not the player that scores goal and create chances.
We´re still a couple of injuries away from Maguire and McTominay and we´re not getting top 4 with Maguire and McTominay in 2025.
What about a 3-5-2 formation as well.. It could definitely work well for us too with Zirkzee
This team is better than Last season for sure. But not that significant difference. May be little more consistent. But the wingers will have a say on how we finish in ghe table and and in the Cup Tournaments. Rashford & Garnacho are the keys. Improvement in Both wings are inevitable.
On top of the three signings, if we can retain Amrabat, I will just be happy but for sure, we need more than just those

Having de ligt is wild nice move. United need strong mentailty like Vidic and he is just that. Need to make this reality. Zirkzee i see him as CF and he needs to threaten goal and support Holjun so that he can dish out goal . For mid United have potential Mainoo and if Ugante is in there i see plays.
Saw somewhere that Ugarte got a bad injury in his last game, don't know if we're still going for him after that
We could go for a classic saf style of 4-4-2 Rasmus and Zirkzee on top and Rashford and garna on rm and lm and Bruno and mainoo backup ugarte and mount and cb deligt and licha and dalot and Luke shaw and ONANA
Bruno and Mainoo in midfield as a duo is a recipe for disaster. Don’t go there mate!

The news we have gotten recently about United in the last 6 months has been some of the most positive news we have heard about United in years. This restructuring has been put together so quickly that the progress is actually almost too fast. I think that reason makes a part of me agree with you when you say you want more signing however the part of me that disagrees is you do not want to get ahead of yourself because of the positive momentum. 3 signings is a good amount because united also has to think about their reputation. 3 signings is conservative and a lot of our desires for more players could be misplaced due to the number of injuries we have had which left our team feeling permeable. In addition, 3 signings is also 3 risks that has to be balanced out with selling the squad without spreading ourselves to thin. I would rather offset the 3 signings with the sale of players that tarnish their service to the club. Overall, i 3 signings and internal changes have been made and now we take some time to settle and observe so we can see whether we are heading in the right direction should help us carry on enjoying Uniteds growing domination.

Zirkzee is more like a playmaking ST he's not very prolific but he sure can carry and pass the ball around

We need reinforcement on the left side. Can someone clarify the situation with Malacia or even Luke Shaw, who seems to miss half of the team's matches each season? Additionally, we require a left-footed defender to step in for Lisandro in case of a long-term injury. Who is our number 8 midfielder aside from Mainoo? We should consider signing Fofana or Rabiot, as they bring passion, pace, and ball control, which are essential for thriving in the Premier League. Are our wings and attacking lineup the same as last season?

I guess ugarte would be better signing than you belive coz if u watch copa america for uruguay he been playing in single pivot as valverde moves up the pitch and he been balling out whenever uruguay is being hit by counter attack and even has sometimes given line breaking passes and if he joins united and performes like this than he is a better signing that what you believe .
How about grannacho and greenwood on the flank, hojlund could come from the bench or could start some times while zirkzee come from the bench

Need more than those to have a good window. It won't happen this window but we need two top players for every position and the focus this summer has to be on defence with Varane gone we do not anything like 4 top CBs and 2 top RBs and LBs
Agreed 6/10 if only these 3. We really need to shift some players especially those on big wages that offer little to nothing.

De Ligt injury issue is the main concern. De Ligt and Mason Mount have similar injury issues history

All 3 players are ideal replacements to varane casemiro martial in terms of their playstyle and experience (de ligt). What is refreshing is seeing them linked to man utd and seemingly wanting man utd despite our new wage structure and struggles of last season. Usually when players want to join man utd its because we have thrown silly wages at them

If we want to play with ball possession then ugarte is not suitable. Also can we play high defensive line with de ligt and martinez?

I would go 8/10. Only because I am unsure about Uguarte not being an advancing midfielder. Great defender though. De lIgt...how are his injuries? All in all, I would be happy with these signing. I would prefer Neves, Branthwaite, and Zirkzee.
They seem like good signings. We'll only have one true striker but might not be a problem if you look at how Arsenal performed with Havertz as a false 9. Hojlund could also play as an inside forward on the right. With his strong left foot and good technique he has to be better than Antony.
They could use him as a højlund or Bruno replacement if needed due to him playing more as a number 10
Age and price range looks like a big improvement for us. However, why are top clubs selling Ugarte and De Ligt in their prime? Doesn’t make sense unless there are issues.
5/10 for those 3. Other areas are needed as well.

No left back and without sale of Sancho, Greenwood, etc., Ineos gets an F. Lots to be done, unfortunately. Hoping for the best.

If we get these 3 for under 130M, I say that's a 7/10 window

The only thing I like about these signing are the prices. Apart from that I'm genuinely not excited. 😐

De ligt if he takes a pay cut then that’s the type of people we want a player who’s hungry to achieve than hungry for money
If United is able to buy players at a fair price, the pressure will be less. United always signed 40-50ish mil players for way more money and then everyone starts to expect way more than they could actually produce under the pressure of moving for a hefty sum. A clear example is Antony. You can't pay 200k for a Camry and expect it to run like an S class
I don't mind Zirkzee and Højlund playing together but if they both play who's the substitute?
4-2-4 with hojlund, zrikzee, Bruno and Garnacho as the front 4? Kobbie and Ugarte as the 2?
