Lovely playing. Great ensemble playing. I love Mendelssohn’s clarinet writing which bring off so beautifully! I was reminded of having an LP many years ago when the great Jack Brymer multitracked both Basset horn and clarinet, however the late Dame Thea King did that as well plus the piano part as she was a remarkable pianist too. La plus belle version de cette musique, on remarque deux musicien au sommet de leur art et très complémentaires. Par moment on n'entend plus qui joue quelle partie, alors que ce n'est pas le même instrument. Bravo et continués à nous proposer d'autres vidéos.

my teacher gave this to me for bass clarinet, im learning it slowly rn but it is getting more fun to play the more i practice!
edit: dude this is so fun to play, im using it as an audition piece for a wind ensemble 🫡🫡

I played this once on an Eb alto with a low C. Lots of fun, but there were a couple of runs that lie well in F but are really awkward when transposed (because the arpeggios no longer pass through an open G)
