I knew this would be good, but holy smokes...! Not only is it maybe the fastest double-tonguing I've heard, it's maybe the cleanest, and most effortless-sounding. And all with that beautiful sound, even in the most extreme register. It's not just fast and clean; every note is clear, finely nuanced... but it doesn't sound like a machine - it's eminently musical, on top of everything. Simply astounding.
Chapeau! Astounding virtuosity. Like most clarinetists i know exactly what you are doing but I have not the slightest idea how you are able to do it. Kudos to your pianist as well. She is wonderful.

Il y a quelques années, je jouais sur une Festival BUFFET, tu l'avais soufflée après ses réglages à Mantes-la-Ville, et on était allés manger un morceau le midi avec l'équipe en parlant du 4-0 que le PSG venait de mettre au Barça (avant de prendre finalement un 1-6 au match retour !). Amitiés musicales.
Apart from the stunning playing I am interested in the choice of greenline instruments Nicolas often uses. I have been struggling to find grenadilla top-end instruments that have the response of the best Buffet Prestige instruments from the late 80s and 90s. Maybe it's the wood - I just don't know. Nicolas seems to be able to play superbly on a wide range of models but it seems interesting that he frequently goes with greenline!
Quick question, He's playing more out of the side of the mouth. Is this personal preference? Does it allow for more accuracy with tonguing and high notes?
Can you even play this nearly as good as any of those men? No. Then, if you comment, don't coment destructively. Fucking lame. There are many people too bored and unhappy with their lifes, like you.

personal preference to my understanding, everyone plays a little differently from each other
Mostly preference but I thought I should add that the left and right sides of vandoran reeds in particular tend to have different resistance
