God also gifted believers and non-believers in the development of modern medicine as well the early believers who were scientists. My question: Where is the DISCIPLESHIP????? People may not really want to part with their sin (or certain sins) but also that there is hardly ANY discipleship in the church. Very little teaching on how to grow and mature as a Christian. And very little if any personal Bible reading.
You are so right. That is one of my pet peeves. There’s this idea that if you attend the services, you are being disciples. But it’s personal relationships that motivate me, and that doesn’t happen unless you’re in the inner circle.
Discipleship is taking a new believer and expounding the word of shod to them. Teaching them Gods requirements and expectations on how to be an effective and obedient Christian’s. Discipleship is something the church has done and abysmal job on. Sunday school was originally established to provided this guidance but most churches don’t have Sunday school any longer. Paul disciples Timothy. As Christians we’re all disciples but we can be effective or ineffective depending on the level of training we’ve received in Gods word

We always pray for healing. But we do not despair when God does not heal like we want. We wait on him and recognize him being over all things. He always points to his word, to listen to and follow, and his word always points to Jesus. God will not be mocked.
Daniel Kolenda himself cannot demonstrate his false teaching that he burdens his followers with. None of these people can. That's one of the elephants 🐘 in the room. The thing that makes me the angriest, with righteous outrage - not just human frustration - is when these people in this movement denigrate the Holy Spirit, mock Him, put words in His mouth He never said and blame Him for things He would never do. Might be worth you guys looking into more ARC churches and refuting them. They are subtle and mix so much truth with error. Having concise material to reference when dealing with their issues would be very helpful.

On Kolenda's clip: In the book of Acts, sons of a Jewish chief priest named Sceva, attempted to cast out an evil spirit by saying, “In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” However, the evil spirit responded, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” This shows even the demons knew that Paul had Christ in him and it was this power that healed, contrary to Kolenda's view that Jesus did miracles just so we too could do them. JESUS is the ultimate authority over every power, for His name is above all in Heaven and on earth.
And let’s keep this in mind, the Bapist organization are not “the way, the truth and life, but Jesus Christ is! Far too many Bapist preachers assume that they hold the only true doctrine of Christ; in fact, it is those who are truly born again in Christ Jesus and follow the doctrine that Paul have written to the body of Christ. So, when we get to heaven, there will be no Baptists, Pentecostals, Methodists or any other religious organization that seem to believe that they believe and hold that their doctrine is golden. Just remember this. Read the Word of God and follow Christ by faith!
The apostle Paul didn't teach that you must be born again to see the kingdom of God, thats what Jesus taught Nicodemus prior to the cros, Paul taught that to be saved it was by faith in the death burial and resurrection for your sins. Paul taught you are born of the Spirit when you believe not that you are born again.

God still answers prayer, and he still heals, saves and delivers… but that is all his will not ours, his power and not ours. I really appreciate just pointing out false teachers, but I would caution people in that he seems to doubt God‘s power, and give the impression God no longer heals etc… that’s just not true imo
G3 and Justin believe God hears our prayers and heals people today. The same God gives us the gift to develop medicine and biology to help heal people through those mediums. We all believe God heals and performs miracles today but not through the charlatans we see on our TV. What good is it for the Lord to heal you on this earth and you end up in hell.

I'm one of those that believe the power to heal people instantaneously given to the Apostles are not for today because we have no direct appointment Apostles today. As far as instant healing, I don't think I made a case for that and I certainly didn't make a case for modern Apostles. I've never met one that I know of. I've never met a prophet or even believe I've seen one on TV or TH-cam or at a church service. The test of a prophet is they have to be 100% correct 100% of the time and I've never seen that. Not saying at some point in the end times it won't happen but I haven't seen it. I'm not under any healing illusion or Apostles or Prophet illusion. This is true. It happened to me and my family. Wrong teaching lens 2 lends to wrong understanding of the Word and wrong application. We are divorced today partly because of this wrong understanding. Real Question: does the foundation of the 12 apostles he mentions include Judas? Also, if an apostle had to have met Jesus, how was the apostle Paul and apostle? (Just by the statement made).
In the book of Acts, Paul was on the road to Damascus when Jesus appeared to him in a great blinding light. Jesus called him then and there to be an apostle to the gentiles as Saul was perfectly adapted to the role as both a citizen of Rome and a Jew by birth. He had duel citizenship and is the one Christ appointed for the gospel to be preached to gentiles and bridge the gap to us from the Jewish world where the messiah awaited as in Christ there is no jew or gentiles, male or female, slave or free man.
Q: WHY IS THIS A SUCH A PASSION FOR YOU ? A: because I lack Christ in my heart and in my expression of Christ , I fill that void with this desire to judge whom I choose to judge, and I can abuse gods word to cleverly achieve that goal and make a tone of cash at the same time.
Thank God for the Gospel. Christ In me the Hope of Glory. Thank God for the sign of healing. It is a sign of people who will have eternal life in a resurrected human body just like Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland and his ilk preach that after Jesus died on the cross he suffered 3 days in hell. Such a false teaching says that Christ's work on the cross was insufficient. Similarly, "lordship salvation" teaches the same thing, yet, from a different angle. Either way, any notion that teaches that what Jesus did for us on the cross wasn't enough isn't just heresy, but blasphemy.
Paul wasn't referring to demon possession. He was referring to the Judaizers who were trying to convince the new Gentile believers that they had to be circumcised & become Jewish outwardly to be saved. The Greek word for "bewitched" in Gal.3:1is baskaínō, bas-kah'-ee-no; meaning: to malign, i.e. (by extension) to fascinate (by false representations)

How is the Godman Jesus fully God and fully Man yet He says No man knows the day nor hour of His return- not even Him, but ONLY the Father which is in Heaven. ??? Help. How can Jesus, being God , not know that? If He is “Fully” God He can’t by definition NOT know! This concept still confounds me. I hope Justin can answer me.
Jesus was 100% God and 100% human. In Matthew 24.36 He is speaking in His human nature. Although He was fully God and man, He did not always use His omniscience. His human nature is also shown in other statements for example, He was hungry after fasting for 40 days, He was thirsty on the Cross. Both His deity and His humanity were fully intact. Although He didn't always use His divine knowledge but at times used His human one does NOT in any way make Him any less God in the flesh. Also read Phil 2;6 'Who though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped' Hope this helps a little, God bless.

Other apostles were known as church planters. They are more what we see today with missionaries going to new areas to build and start new churches. Its vastly different from the 12 who were given authority by Jesus to do certain things as a means of spreading the gospel to new areas (which is why the gift of languages was important for 12 uneducated jewish men). Most of these gifts have ceased as we don't need them in our modern age while other important ones are very much in need and use. The term Apostle as it's being used today is more to align certain preachers and teachers with the 12 by making themselves stand out or appear more important to the layman. They give themselves a title they cannot possess.

Is it being shunned merely because modern pretenders have hijacked the term? Also, on what biblical basis do you claim the gift of tongues ceased? The gift was not only associated with the Apostles but was a prescribed part of the first century assembly meetings for the edification of the body. There isn't a hint in Scripture of the gift being used in evangelization to bridge a language gap.

Trinity is not a doctrine owned or developed by anyone, not really. It refers to the three different "expressions" of God. The old testament shows God as, the Father, in John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one begotten son, and whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life". Then, when Jesus was preaching with his disciples, he told them about the Holy Spirit. He says to them that the Holy Spirit will come teach them. John 20:22 says that Jesus baptized his disciples with the Holy Spirit. Jesus made many references to the Holy Spirit. So the trinity is Father, Son, Holy Spirit. All different, and yet the same God.
The signs and miracles of the Biblical days no longer happen; I believe it was Paul that said those miraculous gifts would go away. And those miracles were to help prove the Gospel and to prove that Jesus was whom He said He was. We have the complete Bible to help prove the Gospel without the use of signs and miracles.

He did not twist what Paul said about signs and wonders and Paul NEVER EVER said that those signs are to cease after he or anyone else died. 2. Jesus said you would do greater works. FULL STOP! The reason why Justin has not been given power is because he DOES NOT believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. 3. Pauls spoke about those wbing cursed who didn't preach the same gospel but what is the gospel? The purpose of the miracles was to get people to BELIEVE! In hostile countries like Haiti and parts of Africa where they have voodoo and in atheist nations it is the POWER OF GOD that led people to Christ. Justin Peters isn't traveling to China or North Korea or Somalia and risking his life for the gospel so he doesn't know these things. It is easy to criticise and say something is false when you lack understanding. The Word of God NEVER EVER said that signs would cease with the orginal apostles. That is a man made doctrine that has NO PROOF WHATSOEVER. Justin CANNOT show not ONE passage that says that. That is a Baptist doctrine that is made up. I agree about false teachers..BUT JUSTIN....do you believe that everyone that goes to their church or watches them online or on tv..are all those people lost if they truly love the Lord..have given their life to Him and live accrding to the bible...are they not saved? I do believe alot of the people that watch some of these people themselves are saved even though who they listen to occassionally or even every Sunday..can still be saved if their heart is right with forgiveness from God! But, I pray they learn true discernment and their eyes are opened to them and they go to a good bible based real gospel of Jesus Christ!

My question: Where is the DISCIPLESHIP????? People may not really want to part with their sin (or certain sins) but also that there is hardly ANY discipleship in the church. Very little teaching on how to grow and mature as a Christian. And very little if any personal Bible reading.

You are so right. That is one of my pet peeves. There’s this idea that if you attend the services, you are being disciples. But it’s personal relationships that motivate me, and that doesn’t happen unless you’re in the inner circle.
Discipleship is taking a new believer and expounding the word of shod to them. Teaching them Gods requirements and expectations on how to be an effective and obedient Christian’s. Discipleship is something the church has done and abysmal job on. Sunday school was originally established to provided this guidance but most churches don’t have Sunday school any longer. We always pray for healing. But we do not despair when God does not heal like we want. We wait on him and recognize him being over all things. He always points to his word, to listen to and follow, and his word always points to Jesus. God will not be mocked.
Daniel Kolenda himself cannot demonstrate his false teaching that he burdens his followers with. None of these people can. That's one of the elephants 🐘 in the room. They need the heresy of kenosis to elevate man to the level of God. Jesus wasn't into putting on a show for unbelievers. He came to save His people from their sins. On Kolenda's clip: In the book of Acts, sons of a Jewish chief priest named Sceva, attempted to cast out an evil spirit by saying, “In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” However, the evil spirit responded, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?”
This shows even the demons knew that Paul had Christ in him and it was this power that healed, contrary to Kolenda's view that Jesus did miracles just so we too could do them. JESUS is the ultimate authority over every power, for His name is above all in Heaven and on earth.
And let’s keep this in mind, the Bapist organization are not “the way, the truth and life, but Jesus Christ is! Far too many Bapist preachers assume that they hold the only true doctrine of Christ; in fact, it is those who are truly born again in Christ Jesus and follow the doctrine that Paul have written to the body of Christ. So, when we get to heaven, there will be no Baptists, Pentecostals, Methodists or any other religious organization that seem to believe that they believe and hold that their doctrine is golden. The apostle Paul didn't teach that you must be born again to see the kingdom of God, thats what Jesus taught Nicodemus prior to the cros, Paul taught that to be saved it was by faith in the death burial and resurrection for your sins. Paul taught you are born of the Spirit when you believe not that you are born again.

In the book of Acts, Paul was on the road to Damascus when Jesus appeared to him in a great blinding light. Jesus called him then and there to be an apostle to the gentiles as Saul was perfectly adapted to the role as both a citizen of Rome and a Jew by birth. He had duel citizenship and is the one Christ appointed for the gospel to be preached to gentiles and bridge the gap to us from the Jewish world where the messiah awaited as in Christ there is no jew or gentiles, male or female, slave or free man.

Kenneth Copeland and his ilk preach that after Jesus died on the cross he suffered 3 days in hell. Such a false teaching says that Christ's work on the cross was insufficient. Similarly, "lordship salvation" teaches the same thing, yet, from a different angle. Either way, any notion that teaches that what Jesus did for us on the cross wasn't enough isn't just heresy, but blasphemy.

Paul wasn't referring to demon possession. He was referring to the Judaizers who were trying to convince the new Gentile believers that they had to be circumcised & become Jewish outwardly to be saved.

Jesus was 100% God and 100% human. In Matthew 24.36 He is speaking in His human nature. Although He was fully God and man, He did not always use His omniscience. His human nature is also shown in other statements for example, He was hungry after fasting for 40 days, He was thirsty on the Cross. Both His deity and His humanity were fully intact. Although He didn't always use His divine knowledge but at times used His human one does NOT in any way make Him any less God in the flesh. 1 Cor 12:27-31 refers to apostles in the church who do not seem to be members of the 12. Who were these?
Other apostles were known as church planters. They are more what we see today with missionaries going to new areas to build and start new churches. Its vastly different from the 12 who were given authority by Jesus to do certain things as a means of spreading the gospel to new areas (which is why the gift of languages was important for 12 uneducated jewish men). Most of these gifts have ceased as we don't need them in our modern age while other important ones are very much in need and use.
The term Apostle as it's being used today is more to align certain preachers and teachers with the 12 by making themselves stand out or appear more important to the layman. They give themselves a title they cannot possess.
@@pedalfr3ak265 I agree there is a difference between Apostle and apostle. On what basis is it claimed the office of the latter has ceased. Is it being shunned merely because modern pretenders have hijacked the term?
Also, on what biblical basis do you claim the gift of tongues ceased? The gift was not only associated with the Apostles but was a prescribed part of the first century assembly meetings for the edification of the body. There isn't a hint in Scripture of the gift being used in evangelization to bridge a language gap.

Trinity is not a doctrine owned or developed by anyone, not really. It refers to the three different "expressions" of God. The old testament shows God as, the Father, in John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one begotten son, and whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life". Then, when Jesus was preaching with his disciples, he told them about the Holy Spirit. He says to them that the Holy Spirit will come teach them. John 20:22 says that Jesus baptized his disciples with the Holy Spirit. Jesus made many references to the Holy Spirit. So the trinity is Father, Son, Holy Spirit. All different, and yet the same God.

The signs and miracles of the Biblical days no longer happen; I believe it was Paul that said those miraculous gifts would go away. And those miracles were to help prove the Gospel and to prove that Jesus was whom He said He was. We have the complete Bible to help prove the Gospel without the use of signs and miracles.

The people on here agreeing with Justin and Josh DO NOT read their Bibles with understanding.
1. Isaiah is right. He did not twist what Paul said about signs and wonders and Paul NEVER EVER said that those signs are to cease after he or anyone else died.
2. Jesus said you would do greater works. FULL STOP! The reason why Justin has not been given power is because he DOES NOT believe in the power of the Holy Spirit.
3. Pauls spoke about those wbing cursed who didn't preach the same gospel but what is the gospel? The purpose of the miracles was to get people to BELIEVE! In hostile countries like Haiti and parts of Africa where they have voodoo and in atheist nations it is the POWER OF GOD that led people to Christ. Justin Peters isn't traveling to China or North Korea or Somalia and risking his life for the gospel so he doesn't know these things.
It is easy to criticise and say something is false when you lack understanding. The Word of God NEVER EVER said that signs would cease with the orginal apostles. That is a man made doctrine that has NO PROOF WHATSOEVER. Justin CANNOT show not ONE passage that says that. That is a Baptist doctrine that is made up. Just ask ANYONE doing ministry in hostile nations and they will show you that God is still showing power to prove the gospel just like Bible prophecy is proof of the supernatural nature of Scripture.
The false teachers they call out aren't reading their Bibles. That is the real problem.
The office of the Apostle has not been closed. "Till WE ALL come into the unity of faith." The very fact that there is deception indicates that we have not arrived to the unity of the faith. 5 fold ministry is perpetual until "that which is perfect is come." Cessasion theology is heresy.
"Heresy" is a bit harsh. I prefer Roger Olson: "Heterodox" and "unbiblical."
I agree about false teachers..BUT JUSTIN....do you believe that everyone that goes to their church or watches them online or on tv..are all those people lost if they truly love the Lord..have given their life to Him and live accrding to the bible...are they not saved? I do believe alot of the people that watch some of these people themselves are saved even though who they listen to occassionally or even every Sunday..can still be saved if their heart is right with forgiveness from God! But, I pray they learn true discernment and their eyes are opened to them and they go to a good bible based real gospel of Jesus Christ!
