I have one of the other 24 full pan sets, and I love them. They are packed nicely and are easy to Uber out of the wrapper, great when you are eager to try them out! The tin is really really nice, and the colours are clean and good. I do not mind that some are not mono pigmented. This is a nice brand with its own characteristic, the paints are flowy in nature and little LIKE QOR which is miles more expensive. You may not like black or white in a set, but can get loose pans very cheaply so think of it as extra space for more. As you use this set naturally you will finish some pans faster, again you can add replacements of your choice and gradually you palette becomes better customised to you preference, this might take a while or maybe you experiment painting bigger! Bigger brushes might be needed! Whatever, enjoy a very good professional paint at a super affordable price that does not make you scared to paint, experiment and practice.
I love Rosa Gallery paints! I collected around 40 of the colors to add to my watercolor collection, and I dont regret that decision even the slightest. They are beautiful paints at an excellent price..
I got myself a Modern set and was very hopeful to like them. The set is definitely is over any of my expectations. The pigments are bright and there’s enough of pigments in paint to call them professional. I didn’t see as much granulation as I like with some colors (ultramarine blue), but overall the price and quality are unbeatable. Also, the metal case is awesome.
I LOVE Rosa paints. If you leave the side paper on the pan when you are unwrapping you always have the pigment and color for when you want more. Jackson’s has individual pans for sale if there are colors that you want outside of the set. Gorgeous painting. Thanks so much for
Oh yay, my favorite watercolors ever!!! And made in my home :) I probably got most of the colors, and loving all of them. Thank you for giving them some spotlight!
Wow I love 💕 how this painting looks, vibrant greens, gorgeous pink & rose colors, with the beautiful bluebird. I am thrilled that you get 24 full-size hand poured pans at such a reasonable price. I might have to put this set on my Christmas 🎄 wish list!! Thanks for sharing this wonderful review of the Rosa Gallery watercolors botanical set! 🥰
The wrappers are designed to stick on the bottom after opening so you have all the colour info! I do like these paints and in my 21 set I can put an extra half pan in each row :)
Emily, thank you for an interesting review of ROSA watercolour set and a demonstration of the colors at your work. Extremely delicate air work with a limited palette of colors is very inspiring. Thank you for the warm feedback.🥰🖌
Hullo Emily, I have enjoyed my ROSA watercolors and I was able to customize my colors for my set! I started with the 12 Urban sketching set. I had them remove the white and Black. They even replace the greens as I like to mix my own greens and if I were to get a green, the SAP Green looks very nice. I had them add Warm Grey and Cobalt Turquoise to fill those B&W paint spots and Madder Rose with Cad Yellow Med for the greens. The seller I was working with was very accommodating and was very open to helping me with my order! I will be ordering more when I use these up!
Could you tell me which website you can get customized sets? I got mine on Amazon and there’s no options to customize and I’d love to add more colors to my set. Thanks!
@@Viktoria-77598 I went to Zvonko Art on e-Bay and they were so helpful and accommodating I tried to insert a URL but it would not work. Good luck 👍🏼 you can try other sellers if your not In the USA I did talk to several other people. I just went with them as shipping was very reasonable!
I just purchased 18 tubes from the Ukranian vendor and 12 tubes from Jacksons. I decided to hand pick the colors I really wanted to try out. I can't wait to get them. I had a couple lovely encounters with the Rosa vendor. I had couple questions about the yellows and she was kind enough to take some photos for comparison for me. Cant get that kind of help from many vendors! Plus I'm happy to Support a Ukrainian business right now.
Interesting. You put these paints to much better use than. many other reviews. In the last review I watched the artist found them chalky and couldn't make them work well until she decided to use them in full mass tone, more like gouache. Would you recommend these over White Nights or Van Gogh? Thank you.
As far as I know Van gogh is still a student grade paint although its higher than most student grades. I would love to see Emilys reply on how Rosas’ compare to White Nights😊
I’ve never understood the negative reviews. I’ve been using Rosa Gallery for two years, alongside Schmincke, Winsor & Newton, and Daniel Smith. They are equal to all of those brands and are very pigment-heavy, which means a little goes a long way. I’ve noticed some people overload their brush with them and then complain that they look like gouache. It’s a matter of learning to use them correctly, IMO. I’ve never known them to be chalky. My experience with them has been nothing but lovely.
I love Rosa's reds and yellows, I got them before I tried white knights, Rosa blows knights out of the water in my opinion, except pink ultramarine, and the granulating set. But your everyday colors I really love Rosa's, they compare to qor in my opinion.
Hullo, I know that you are wanting a reply from Emily, but I spent a little time looking into these paints. Their professional grade line of paints are “Gallery” the “Studio” line of paints are student or school grade paints. Rosa is a full service paint company and they sell gouache, acrylic, oil, even Rosa brand gesso’s and palettes to easels! Good luck!
these must have been developed by people who wanted non-russian White Nights. I feel like that for those who already have a set of WN, these are not worth buying. And vice versa
I don't understand I have just about every professional brand out there plus many of the dot cards, for the price you literally cannot beat these, I think they have honey, they rewet so easily, and you get masstone with one touch of the brush. I had got 3 of the big pallets for 25 to 35 dollars. I think some of the colors have oxgall but not all. Maybe the camera cannot do them justice.
I have this set. They are lovely and I am happy to support a Ukrainian business

I agree and love the Rosa Gallery paints. I especially love that there is hardly any drying shift.
An advantage of hand poured, softer paints is that they are much kinder to brushes. A lot of pigment can be picked up with very little effort.
True! 🙌
I like Rosa Gallery! They rewet easily and are vibrant. The botanical set is my favorite and the most complete one ❤
I’ve been using Rosa for almost two years now and I love these paints. Your painting turned out amazing!
Several of their newer paints are super top-notch. I love Rosa.

Thank you for this video! I would like to buy this botanical set. I have been using these paints for 5 years, they are great!
Glad you like them!

Hi Emily, I love the colours in this beautiful painting! ❤The Rosa watercolour paints are so lovely and bright! Thank you for sharing. Helene
This is stunning. Some really cool paints here. I like what you did with the artwork.
I really enjoyed you demo using these paints. Painting is lovely.
I really like my set, had them for a year or two. Amazon has single pans and sets also.
i got this set myself about 9 months ago. love it
Thank you for the review! Beautiful painting!
Thank you for your review.
I absolutely love these paints 🙏 rich, vibrant, full pans
Highly recommended.

I want to do botanicals at some point.
Enjoy your Rosa Gallery! If you want to add pans to your set, Jackson's Art sells them individually. They're a steal.
Omg I was just searching about these

These look stunning ☺☺
Beautiful ! Thank you
Beautiful
Hi Emily lovely painting the paints look good. Is there a full-length tutorial on this painting on your patron?
Anyone know where on the USA online to buy pans separately?
Could you please review the simbalion osama watercolor paints?
I haven’t heard of that brand!

What a nice review and a beautiful painting ❤. But are you sure Rosa Gallery it is artist grade? 60 colors total …. 🤔

The Frugal Crafter did a good review on these paints
💙💛💖

To be honest Emily, those colours don't look great. I wanted them to be but I'll give them a miss. Thanks very much, take care, David.xx

Same honestly I dont like that theres black and white others colors couldve been added instead
@deib2719 oh, their Black Grape is *not* BLACK. It is very, very similar to Schmincke's Neutral Tint. I'd definitely not consider it a black.
@@1122wifeOh Great to hear! Thank u so muxh! although the white.. LOL
They are great and highly pigmented. You could buy some single ones and try them out yourself.
I doubt that you will be disappointed.
