  • In the words of R.G. Collingwood, “History is for human self-knowledge ... the only clue to what man can do is what man has done. The value of history, then, is that it teaches us what man has done and thus what man is."
Therefore, it most important for us as readers but more so as humans to learn from our histories, not just to be proud of it but also to never repeat our past blunders. And one amazing way to get a grasp of history is by reading historical fictions.
Over the years, I have found myself reading more and more history and historical fiction. I try to read about people and culture that I am unfamiliar with and try to read about times that are much different from today.
In this video, I bring to you 7 historical fiction books that are mostly 5-star reads and are meant to cater to every type of reader - beginner, regular, and voracious. From Indian to American, from Bosnian-Serbian to Turkish, I have tried to include many diverse reads from different periods in history.
Question - Which is your favorite historical fiction? Suggest me some 5 Star Book Recommendations?

You can also try reading grave the hidden truth by priyanka khetawat, if you want to go for fictional book with thriller, suspense and mystery
Firstly, I was amazed by the attention to details in every chapter and I am sure you would notice it as well. One thing I enjoyed throughout the story is that each scene is happening in multiple locations and I loved the way the author painted the picture in front of me. It was almost like I was there, and I could vividly see what is going on. My favourite part is when all of them get stuck in a cave with another civilisation, who don't even speak the language. I can keep on going, but I am going to stop here as I don't want to spoil too much for the future the readers.
Secondly, I was shocked when the author came up with a new script altogether for the ancient civilisation, and I completely enjoyed the riddles Firstly, I was amazed by the attention to details in every chapter and I am sure you would notice it as well. Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. It’s a non-war historical fiction. Some people don’t consider it historical fiction but I think that historical context is important. Hence, I categorise it as historical fiction.
