I have been watching your older videos on crank baits I love throwing crank baits and this one opened up on how to use the crank bait on the lakes I just moved to and I see I need to up my crank bait game with some different types of cranks. Once again thank you for this timely video.
#100percentwatchsquad Gotta love a Bandit crank! I also like a Rapala OG crank. To me, it's kind of like a winter squarebill that I can work along steeper banks. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Hank and Mike! Here's hoping we all get that special bit of gear we've been asking for!
Good stuff mate! That’s awesome! I’ve been subscribed mate and I’m loving the videos! I’ve gotta get out and make another video! Keep up the good work mate! 🤝🤝💪💪
Man I love some crankin! Little Johns and, Wiggle Warts, and the Money Badger have been treating me really good on Douglas lately. #100percentwatchsquad
Shad raps have always been my go to and caught me tons of bass.... i have some rock crawlers i purchased when they very 1st came out, and have never even tried them out yet.
You were prepping your boat right behind me the other morning on soho. I ended up having a 22lb 5oz bag of smallmouth that day dropping and on a jerkbait so I assume you're good luck lol.
Started winter fishing yr 2000...have consistently caught spots up to 6lb & Lmouth 8-10lb (one 12) throwing shallow to deep (all type banks/slopes/ledges) in clear upland lakes w/ Norman Deep little N and 3/4 oz blade... every decent day and DO NOT worry about water temp (I used to)...some days a bust but.....
When it comes to crankbaits I always have an O.S.P. blitz series tied on. It’s honestly one of my confidence baits and has produced some of my bigger fish in the winter. Last year it played a major role in the elite series and cashed a lot of money for some top pros. You won’t hear them talking about it though due to them not wanting to mess with there sponsors who’s bait they were not using to get most of there wins. Yes they are expensive and most people will not want to spend that much for a crankbait and I get that. Anyway thank you for another amazing video Hank you have been on a terror as of late. I just want to say thank you and hopefully you have an amazing Christmas and a happy new year. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for 2025 !!! #HUNDOSQUAD #HANKTHETANK #BESTCHANNELONTH-cam

@@jessebrock7574 You have drops? You have rivers and lakes that are famed up rivers? There are channels and channel swings. There are steep drops even if it’s 1-2foot. It works
Then don't watch if it's not for you genius and of course you don't have what we have. It's a mountain lake that's over 200 ft deep in places with a 50 degree water temp lol. So you all don't throw crankbaits in FL?? Last I checked you don't have to have this exact layout in the video to throw a crankbait.
Hank Nice video for an ice-cold Sunday afternoon. Lots of fun dancing a crankbait

Get with Bruce West at The Jig Shack. Best painter of those Rk Crawlers around!

That Shadrap imitates a baby Carp.

Do you know what the approx water temperature is where you're fishing?
ON this day and lake it was 53 I was fishing another lake 2 days before and it was 45
Thanks for the reply. I'm located in NE OH. Water is freezing over off n on. Haven't had much success lately 🤔
I like to throw whatever the fish are biting that day and hope that I guess the lure correctly within 3 lure changes..lol..
Hahahaha well
Y’all can do soft plastics and giant baits during winter and y’all will get bites. All I’ve caught in winter is thru bandido bugs June craw
@@Bassingtv Yup you sure can throw soft plastics in the winter. They are great and any bug is a great color
