Hey man watched the whole video. I usually on play CODs but after watching this, I think I’m going to look at purchasing a few Battlefield titles. Thanks
It was an interesting game, but I kinda feel like the Battlefield name hurt that game. When people hear Battlefield they expect huge maps with vehicles and basically a mini combined warfare conflict, not R6 Siege battledield edition. I get that the studio wanted the pull force of the franchise name but that game really should have been it's own thing not a BF game.
BF2, BF2142 and Bad Company used to be my favourites. Here is a few fun things in them: 2 had commander mode, where 1 player per team could take the role of a commander and view the game in a top-down map view, issue orders to squads and send in helpful assets like UAVs, arty strikes, supply packages, etc. 2142 had a special mode (I think it was called Titan mode) which was kinda like conquest except both sides had a massive spaceship parked above their spawn that had a bunch of turrets and had an actual interior because you could board the enemy titan and destroy it from the inside to secure the win. Bad Company if I remember correctly was the first BF game with a destructible environment and I learned it the hard way. In one of the campaign missions you get attacked by a tank, so my first instinct was to run into a nearby house. Thinking I was safe I tried to heal up only to hear a massive explosion, see the wall in front of me crumble and realize I'm staring at the wrong end of a tank barrel, it was at that moment I fell in love with that game.

Fun fact: the scenario that you've played in Battlefield 1 is almost a 1:1 recreation of the mountain of Mount Grappa and the Altopiano of Asiago! I, as Venetian, spent a lot of time in my youth in that mountains!
I understand why you rated BF1 the way you did but man… that game is one of the greatest games ever made. A true masterpiece and was WILD in its time. Wish you could’ve got the full experience.
Battlefield games are so fun, and underrated in my opinion, i wish they made a super sci-fi style one, where you fight on different style looking planets
"Underrated"? It's literally one of the most popular FPS franchises ever and it was CoD's main competitor at one point. It's just that the series has been extremely mismanaged. It's underrated now because they fucked up BF5s launch and when it got good, they abandoned it, and BF2042 was BAD when it launched. Also, we already had a SciFi one with 2142.
That BF3 and BF4 era was the definition of battlefield. Those 2 games are what a battlefield game should be. BF3 is my personal favorite but I consider BF4 to be the best, it was the one that improved on what battlefield 3 did good, eventhough I think that BF3 was better in terms of maps. Also loved BF1 and for me it's the last great battlefield, but still never reached the same feeling I got from those 2 games.
5:17 try modes like Breakthrough and Rush, soooo much better than Conquest aha. If I had to put it into Cod terms, Breakthrough is like Hardpoint but with 2 secure points, and Rush is basically just Demolition. Both OBJ modes play so much faster paced than Conquest, and just simply the better modes. Conquest is okay on some maps but dreadful on others.
I loved Battlefied 2142! You didn't get to experience the Titan mode, my favorite game mode to date. Each side had a heavy warship hovering above the city. You first controlled anti-titan guns on the ground, conquest style. If you controlled it, the missiles launched against the enemy titan. Once the shields were down, you could keep hitting it, OR get onto the Titan (apcs had awesome drop pods) then you had to destroy some points, get to the core, blow it, then jump off before its destroyed in a cool action hero way. man, the rush
BF3 was the absolute best. The hype and marking team leading up to this games release were the best of all time. The DLCs including close quarters maps are something I miss every single day. The battlenet where you could check your stats and talk in the forums were amazing as well. The maps and countless crazy moments made this game a true classic.
You got like maybe 20% of the battlefield experience!!!! You didn’t hop in no tasks, no choppers, you only played like on class, you had self no artillery, no mortars, you barely sniped. I mean you really did yourself and the watchers a disservice
Dude watching this was kind of cathartic for me. I have been playing Battlefield for years and years. This franchise was always my favorite over CoD. And watching you play through the classic games was awesome. For me, Bad Company 2 was and will always be my favorite in the series. The immense “war” feeling you get playing BF1, BF3 and 4 is superb. The memories I have of playing those classic games when they first came out, it’s something I will never forget.
I grew up playing and watching my older brother play battlefield. The same way cod was your childhood, battlefield was mine. There was a time where this franchise was the greatest. I dream for a time where it can be again
Absolutely loved bad company 1 and 2 and I played BF 1 to death, but BF3 was my jam. The countless hours I spent on metro rush 24/7 was so worth it. You definitely had to experience these games in their prime but most of them are still solid
Nearly like 25 years I only played single player games. All pirated copies. I never spend money on games. But one of my friend introduced me to BF3, that’s my first ever multiplayer experience. OMG, I just hooked in. After that I never played Single Player game. I owned BF 3, 4, 1, 5 & 2042. Also COD Cold War & Vanguard. I love this type of game. Battlefield change Me. Still love BF3. Lot more memories refreshed because of this video. Thank you for that ❤
BF3, BF4,BF1 the goat I l love both Cod and BF. You would love the Rush gamemode its fast paced objective based mostly infantry based. Also in that was a clean snipe in bf1.
For BF1, the sweet spot mechanic is what you were experiencing. Each gun will do its most damage at a set range. Closer or further will result in reduced damage.
There are more players on BF4 servers currently than on 2042. The servers on BF4 stay full throughout. During weekday overnight play throughs the servers stay full till about 7 am EST.

Yep bf2 was one of the best.. this guy doesnt understand it haha
I understand why you rated BF1 the way you did but man… that game is one of the greatest games ever made. A true masterpiece and was WILD in its time. Wish you could’ve got the full experience.
No way he gave bf1 a 6
"Thats the Call of Duty in ME" TDawg 2024
Just straight pushing
BF2BC was a masterpiece. Best game in my opinion. Online play was a different level. The goat.
Battlefield games are so fun, and underrated in my opinion, i wish they made a super sci-fi style one, where you fight on different style looking planets
Planetside 2
"Underrated"? It's literally one of the most popular FPS franchises ever and it was CoD's main competitor at one point. It's just that the series has been extremely mismanaged. It's underrated now because they fucked up BF5s launch and when it got good, they abandoned it, and BF2042 was BAD when it launched. Also, we already had a SciFi one with 2142.
AW, IW?
People use the word ‘underrated’ way too freely…
Battlefront?
BF4 was peak multiplayer when it was in its prime but BFBC2 is always going to be my favourite
all halos next please!
Battlefield 1 oh man TdawgSmitty there's alot of elite classes but the best part is the Sweet spot mechanic
Battlefield 2, Bad company 2, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, & Battlefield 1 were peak Battlefield imo, personal favourite is Battlefield 3
11:02 some times you need to get out of the combat arena to back to the combat area 😂
@@WADIDOU9_721 tip of the day
Battlefield is one of my favorite series because it feels like an actual war, but 2027 or what ever it’s called is just to futuristic for me.
1:00 absolutely not.
BF3 was the absolute best. The hype and marking team leading up to this games release were the best of all time. The DLCs including close quarters maps are something I miss every single day. The battlenet where you could check your stats and talk in the forums were amazing as well. The maps and countless crazy moments made this game a true classic.
Finally someone respecting 2042 (post launch)
Right? It’s actually become a decent game. Sometimes the bugs are what make it fun too lol.

Part of the hate stems from the changes they've made and things they've added. Example #1: Tor. Absolutely NO ONE asked for that thing to exist
@@dc3747 the hell is tor?
It was really fun
Time flies. BF2, Unlockables through cfg editing numbers, Mods, Fogotten Hope, BF2142.
The best one 9:55
Ranking BF1 a 6/10 is sinister. Hurts my soul because it was such a good game!

6:52 “ HELP” - Tdawgsmitty 2024
Just no help man 😂
Battlefield 4 is the pinnacle of battlefield games
Absolutely loved bad company 1 and 2 and I played BF 1 to death, but BF3 was my jam. The countless hours I spent on metro rush 24/7 was so worth it. You definitely had to experience these games in their prime but most of them are still solid
I will always remember Battlefield 1 Stories they had elite storytelling and made you feel so connected to the characters you never saw again
Battlefield 1, 4, 3, Bad Company 1&2 were some of the best battlefield games ever made, and even in 2024, they still hold up very nicely.
Thank you for that ❤
Bad companys, BF3, MW1,WAW, MW2,BO1,MW3 and BO2 2008-2012
What a time to be alive
The best games ever
I had so much fun playing 1942 back in the day with my friends. It makes complete sense that people still play it. It's just awesome fun.
BF3, BF4,BF1 the goat I l love both Cod and BF. You would love the Rush gamemode its fast paced objective based mostly infantry based. Also in that was a clean snipe in bf1.
The run DICE had between BC2, BF3, and BF4 was insane
For BF1, the sweet spot mechanic is what you were experiencing. Each gun will do its most damage at a set range. Closer or further will result in reduced damage.
BF4 is almost timeless. BF6 cant come soon enough. For me a modern setting is a must... pretty much in any game.
The bayonet charge in battlefield 1 was the most satisfying thing. Not to mention it was full of atmosphere. I miss it
BF 1 is still amazing , just pick a better server based on your ping & read the server title to know what the rules are (casual, hardcore, etc)
Battlefield 1943 was my favorite. Just 3 maps and 3 class options. I was always in a plane controlling the skies.
There are more players on BF4 servers currently than on 2042. The servers on BF4 stay full throughout. During weekday overnight play throughs the servers stay full till about 7 am EST.
