Worth noting that this piece isn’t necessarily the best Taoist book even though it’s the most well known. It was a book specifically written for a ruler which is why it’s so concerned with government

You are sounding more and more like a universalist where all religions lead to the one true God. Sorry thats not christianity and sounds alot like baal in the bible trying to combine all religions and say nice things about cults, why not show how and why they are all cults and not christian. Sounds like your channel wants to combine all religions when they should be rebuked!

It’s unnecessary to rebuke religions when they are in line with ours. The Tao Te Ching is 200 years older than the New Testament and doesn’t explicitly state anything about other “gods” and arguably, predicts the coming of Jesus Christ.

@@frogtownroad9104 the bible is everything you need and it is the God who created all things including the bible. Other religions invoke the Lord Jesus Christ’s name as well and does not speak the truth such as the Quran and jahova witnesses catholics mormons etc. also in the last days they will DEPART from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrine’s of devils! Also tao te ching is not the bible is it and the old testament teaches plainly from the beginning the first human’s made and the coming of the messiah Jesus Christ i would read the bible and stick with the true God instead of departing from the true and living God!

@@bladeeagle01 The Bible is the only human writing that has been fully inspired and protected by God. There are no other writings that come even close to having interconnected prophecies fulfilled over the span of thousands of years and macropatterns of mathematical perfections (the number 7, look up Macropatterns KJV bible God Almighty - episode 7 ) Indeed all other writings no matter how well they are written (quran/tao te ching), are from this world and thus lead not to the life and the truth, but to eternal damnation in hell.
