I don't really get how some of these more casual thunderdome boots look the way they do, almost all of my work boots look far less worn in 6 months of daily wear than some of these do in a month or two
Yeah I know right I’m pretty hard on my boots and they definitely don’t look like some of the ones I’ve seen, I think people are making them wear prematurely some how.. I wash my vehicles and mine get soaked and get dirty and still looking like nothing has happened to them 😮..
I can’t speak for everyone, but my pair are on my feet around 16-18 hours a day, 7 days a week, for 6 straight months. I’m wearing mine for work, play, dates, playing with the kids, grocery shopping, hiking, walking, changing diapers, giving baths, making breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Mine don’t look as worn as Cameron’s boots but his are Black Waxed Flesh, which is designed to wear like that. It’s just a thin layer of wax keeping the rough out leather down.
@@lukelarsson i have waxed flesh boots used for work in the trades, mine only show nap at select spots of abrasion, not nearly as much as camerons and I beat the crap out of mine.
@@Rider.WhiteHorse I just know that it is basically a disqualification from any kind of Patina Thunderdome prize if you do any kind of fake wear to a pair of boots. Someone else said the same thing about my boots and I haven’t done anything to them except wear them for 120 hours a week for work, hobbies, and home life.

If there is one boot in Nicks line that should be offered in the military inspired Thurman last it is the Tanker boot. Please bring back the Thurman last in the tanker boot. I was able to snag one before y'all stopped offering it and I love the extra bit of toe room. The day you start offering it again is the day ill buy my next pair of Nicks. Thanks for the great boots.

Hey im here from the video on cleaning leather boots from 2 years ago. I wanted to ask, is there any way to clean the inside of a leather boot? I found a dead mouse im my boot. Theres dead mouse chunks in my boot.
Shit makes me feel like the main guy from the Tell Tale Heart by E.A.P. . Dad won’t let me take them to some proffessional to get them cleaned and its not like one really exsists where i live

The thunderdome is for white collar chair jockey's who are afraid to scuff their boots and the only reason working class people can even compete is Nicks jumping in. It's insulting how they split the prize pool as if blue collar people only wear workboots and don't want nice things. What a joke of a competition.
