We now have 4 of varying models. Have a separate hygrometer (temp/humidity) and closely monitor humidity. Some models tend to evaporate the water in a few days.
I run cheaper Chinese’s models but then again I also run a secondary humanity and temp gages to double check every thing and recalibrate it if required
@@HappyWifeAcres admittedly I even double checked my gauges and have started running wifi weather monitoring systems just so I can check up on them while I’m away from home
Have you measured with a second digital thermometer? If it is really 41C you will have issues, either deformed embryos or early hatched before they are ready. If no way to control the temp, try propping up a side to cool it off. Always use a second thermometer.
Parts maybe be easy to get to fix them and maybe cheaper.. They don't look any different.. I just bought one and I should get it in 4 days and I will be checking on parts availability just so I know when the time comes to fix it I may just buy parts just so I have it on hand
Most of the cheap chinese incubators are on eBay. That's where I got this one. I couldn't find one exactly like this, but here's a link to one that I have and like. There are lots to choose from on eBay. www.ebay.com/itm/48Egg-Incubator-Digital-Automatic-Turner-Hatcher-Chicken-Egg-Temperature-Control/371612246224?hash=item5685d0e0d0:g:xS0AAOSwYSFeBbqu
take it from one who know no they don,t work myself and my brother ordered two in a set neither one worked the temperture went crazy we lost a total of 96 eggs between them and the egg turner never worked finally purchased a 48 quart styrofoam cooler and a STC 1000 controlller unit and have had some high hatch rates with it i wouldn,t buy any incubator on line no way
You just have to recalibrate mine was 1 degree lower built in thermometer 37.8 external one showing 38.8 fixed that also started with dry hatching and had major succes 8 hatched out of 7 only added water in the last 3 to 4 days
We used our oldest cheap chinese incubator, which is about 4 years old, and hatched 9 out of 10 fertile eggs 2 days ago. It was one of our best hatches. The unit is so old that the display no longer works, but the controls do, so we use an external hygrometer. It keeps chugging along!
This is the most recent one we bought. I just checked and it's still available. www.ebay.com/itm/LCD-Digital-Egg-Incubator-Geese-Pet-Cage-Thermometer-Hygrometer-Waterproof-Probe/202636641185?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Yes. In 2020, we hatched 310 chicks using 4 "cheap chinese" incubators. We keep statistics on each batch. Overall, we had a 60% hatch rate of fertilized eggs. 75% is the standard for hatcheries, so I'm ok with 60%. Since our chickens are not in a controlled (caged) environment, the eggs get dirty and free range chickens live a harder life in general, which I believe can affect the hatch rate. Plus, our chicken eggs and the membrane inside tend to be much tougher, making it harder for the chick to peck its way out. I believe that is due to the minerals in the ground and in the well water, and the variety of food they eat. But overall, the incubators do a decent job and we'll keep using them.
Thank you. Just the video I was looking for. i kept on looking but i never got the answer but you fixed that!
Thank you. Just the video I was looking for.
Thanks for the info was looking to buy 1 of them was not sure how good they were

That's the way to do it! Get gauges you trust.

My incubator temperature is going high its hits 41degrees would please give advice what should I do .Thank you Abu

Thank you very much so kind of you .Bless you Abu
Would you happen to know if Little Giant or Hovabator egg rails will fit on that egg turner?....Thanks
I don't know if they will fit. However, most of the cheap chinese incubators come with egg turners.

I wish someone could make a detail video and explain how operate this incubator
Do you have a link on where you got this?
Thanks.

No they don't. Have 4 and barely used, all broke.
