Great vid- just to clear things up when you did the clove hitch and when you said you made the first half hitch you actually didn’t do a half hitch on the bottom you just pulled the serving up and then you did one half hitch on the top then you did two half hitches on the other side
Thats slick my bow shop guy never tied my peep like that just wrapped up then clinch knot it still twisted this bow season iam think my new bow try tie like this for now on
Frankly I would've had better luck reading brail instructions on how to tie in a peep, your fingers are either in the way, or the camera angle is useless at every key point. I'm unsure how anybody got useful knowledge from this video but I'm glad someone was able to understand this.
Kevlar braid has been shown to cut through other strings quickly. Would not use, unless you want new color bowstrings. I've heard of people using floss in a pinch.
Do this method to tie it in and then also add in the securing wraps above and below? I'm wondering how the wrapping above and below the peep effects the string motion and how the different methods might impact peep alignment... If at all...
Nice! You even made an over-sized rig purely as a teaching aid, plus a primer on the knots used. Two thumbs up.
Great video! I love the large model demo, that made it really easy to follow.

Thanks for the great simplistic technique.
Best method that I have seen!
Big man! Beautiful video, many congratulations bravo
Can you post a video on how to tie in the peep aligner properly to stop the aligner from creeping upwards away from the peep housing?

Great work Mike, Beauty Mate.
what kind of stands is your bow sitting on?
Useful info. Thanks for sharing.

May be, for instruction purposes, you might us white nylon thread. I like the first hitch.
I need that peep sight to hit a target 😆
your fingers are in the way! bad camera angel, can't follow what you are trying to show1
I agree
You spent all that time building the model then rush through the explanation like you're late for dinner. SLOW DOWN.
Just go to your settings and click on .5 speed. Easy-peasy.
Can I use braided fishing line ?
I do, heavy line, #100 Lb, wax it a little before you use it.
Can i use Surfboard Wax? I do, never had a problem.

You got poor lighting
And no tying string about a inch up above and down below????
I've never NOT seen that
Hey man, you've read way too many riddle books to your kids at night! This is _still_ giving me a headache: ”I've never not seen that."
Yeah, i was thinking that, but Mikes four constrictor hitches do the holding!
