    And there goes all your loose change and fidgety little things you keep randomly throwing in the centre console thinking “ I’ll need that one day”. 😂😂😂👍👍👍. Thanks for the upload buddy. I’d never have guessed it was there. I think I’m going to invest in an extinguisher. 👍👍

      Was there much difference? Was the old filter clogged up and at how many miles?

    • @DasArab
      @DasArab 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jordan4541 filter was black, however the inside of the fuel tank was mint clean, so I think the colour in the filter was mainly due to fuel treatments over the years. That said the car feels smoother to drive tbh. 89000 miles.

      @Cab S erm not sure what video you are watching, but it clearly shows that he has purchased the whole assembly, as youcan see them side by side. What I'm saying is that you don't need to do that. Rather, you can buy just the filter element itself and reuse the entire assembly.Hope that makes sense.

      @@petert696 You are supposed to change the whole thing. The plastic deteriorate over time as well and will crack.

      @Xziriz yes that's up to the individual. I am just giving an alternative option.

      @@petert696 It's one of those things where it's a lot of hazzle already, so might as well do it properly. The filters last a very long time and they are pretty cheap.

    Thanks man I used your video to change my fuel filter you made it so easy to follow 👍 my car is running so much smoother now! Since I brought the car always had issue reversing would always struggle and I would need to put a lot of gas I thought it was due to the ishift gear box but now after the filter change its become really smooth. Also I did notice a lot of debri in the remaining fuel that came out of the filter as I poured it into a glass jar. Already subscribed to your channel, 🙌🙌

    • @MMD-z6z
      @MMD-z6z ปีที่แล้ว

      Make sure you change the filter on the fuel pump - its pointless doing the Job otherwise lol 😆 😆

    • @MisterManj
      @MisterManj ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MMD-z6z Tbh if I could change that teabag filter I would but unfortunately I can't buy the filter on its own it only comes with the pump itself. Only place I found online was Ali Express for a few quid but I can't trust Chinese stuff so I didn't bother. All that said since I've changed the fuel filter my car has been running a lot smoother than before and not only that the mpg has improved as well as the range on a full tank from 320 miles on urban driving to 490 miles and the first time the car is showing 585 miles on motorway driving. My car was very sluggish and I had to push the gas paddle really hard prior to the filter change but not anymore. So I'm pretty pleased with that.. 🙂 Next I'm going to service the injectors and clean the throttle body and all the sensors....

    • @SpunkyMonkeyORiley
      @SpunkyMonkeyORiley ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm surprised the tea bag like gauze is not included in the kit, its the first line of defence to prevent debris from getting into the fuel pump/filter. A small part that prob cost peanuts yet Honda can't include it in the kit that would save a lot of headache WTF!!

    Any sort of precautions that you took (opening the tank plug etc)?
    Saw those metal springs on the canister..arent they dangerous when fiddling with the canister when trying to fit it back in the tank?
    Thanks!

    • @driftcarsjp

      No the springs just compress down so the pick up is at the bottom of the tank. There's not much tension on them..

      If your fuel is very low you will need to put 20 litres in it as if the fuel filter canister is empty and the fuel tank is low it won't suck up enough fuel to run. When your fuel tank is low the fuel pump canister will always have fuel in it this acts as a swirl pot so you don't run out of fuel when cornering.
      I hope that helps.
