Donny, I owe you a debt of thanks. I have ridden on two wheels for years and I bought the RG3 because of three wheels without ever riding it, but I watched your videos and learned how to turn fluidly just watching you. Thanks for good instructions
Ha! Saw all your rides at sylvan last weekend. Stumbled on this vid, great stuff, and beautiful bikes! Been riding the hills for 25 years, no bad days yet. Stay safe out there!
Donnie, thx for the info. I'm leaving eastern NC on Monday, heading solo to see all that western SD has to offer. Will be about a 30-day ride on my 05 road king.
Hey Donnie. OMG! The Part with the Bison or Buffalo - Geesh. I would need a drink afterwards. Thank you for sharing. I am certainly goin to visit up there now.
Welcome to my back yard. Living in Rapid City I have been riding in the Black Hills since 1964. It never gets old. Like you stated "Ride at your own pace".
Loved the video, Donnie.....l love Deadwood, and the Spearfish Canyon Run is one of my favorite rides....l prefer to ride the Sturgis area in June, before the Rally. There are still quite a few people, but fewer headaches and hassles....stay safe brother, and enjoy the Rally. Hope you have good weather. - Mike
We were just there in July for the Deadwood 3 Wheel Rally and all those roads and stops look very familiar! Looks like you enjoyed them just as much as we did.
Great video Donnie. We were there two years ago and the riding is just fantastic. Loved SpearFish Canyon, Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore (understand they have quite a light show) ours got rained out. Loved Sturges and Deadwood. And Iron Mountain RoadvAnd the badlands. We w ere there this time of year in21. Hoping to get back next summer it’s so beautiful especially for us florida guys. Your RG 3 is doing so much to cause folks to rethink going to three wheelers I hope HD doubles production for 24. Enjoy sharing the good times RG3
Yo Brother. I thought I was the only one who after switching from 2 wheels to 3 I still lean in the curves and corners. it good to see I'm not the only one who still does it. I still every once in awhile coming to a stop go to put m\y foot down. lol . Ride free and stay safe.
Wow!! loving it!! Rode out of Rushmore last year on a fatboy. Took a wrong turn headed to Needles, did iron mountain and Custer Park instead. Saw crazy horse and headed up to Deadwood. Hoping to make the trip down from AK and do it again on my RG3.
I just picked up my billiard blue on black road glide 3 on Friday loving the ride I went from an 18 road glide special to that an I am loving every moment I live about 69 miles from rapid city in a little town called hot springs
Really enjoy watching videos and took a lot of your ideas and set mine up the same. Just wondering what setting you have when you ride two up. I’m used to smooth two wheel suspension and I’m having a hard time tuning it in when I ride two up. Lowered the rear tire pressure a little, seems to help a little but still tough on those country roads. Maybe some ideas when you get a chance, also planing to trailer the RG3 to Fla this January for three months, maybe see you at Daytona, Thanks. Pete from Pa.
Unbelievable scenery in this video, great stuff. Like you say, ride your own ride. Besides taking it easy enables one to see all the sites. 👍On another note do you have a video on your air breather? I’m looking to get away from the oily crap going back into the motor.
Hey man I’m trying to add a engine guard on my rg3 , tell me what I need to install it the best way , wild man did his and told me to order this bracket that’s chrome and I have no idea where it goes so I’m confused , help me out thanks

Great video! I just bought a 2024 RG3 and was trying to think of a good inaugural trip - the Black Hills it is!!!

I have upgraded my suspension to Suspension Technology. OEM I had it set around 14 2 up with rear tire psi at 27.

Thanks, Guy. I mentioned the air intake previously, but it does still have the oil ports in it like factory.
@@donniewieburg ..Ty sir
Rockin!!!
Great video how’s the trike handle those twistys.
Thanks! The RG3 handles the twisties great!!
What seat did you buy for your RG3? I normally buy Corbin but they don't make one for the RG3 yet.
It’s the HD Tallboy
question: do those mirrors with spots allow you to see the rear fenders?
Not really, but it depends on where you have them set up.
just curious, just bought a tri glide 2 days ago and sometimes forget about the width of the rear wheels.@@donniewieburg

any trouble with the switchbacks on your trike?
Not at all. It’s all body position, proper speed and hitting the apex of the turn to flow through.
Hey man I emailed you about the engine guard info
Yeah I got it. Been working so I’ll get to it this evening.
