Do not let these builders fool you 800k for McDonough ga. Buy your land then look for builders to qoute you on building your home if you can. But this is robbery, you have it built for less just educate yourself on the process

No, this is about correct. Mcdonough house's have skyrocketed since 2020. 30% or more, and land in henry county is literally up 1000% especially in certain school districts, which is what people want.
So much concrete... incomplete closets in master...lovely tub, but it's so big you'll freeze in the shower..heated floors would've been nice touch for the concrete! Nice work🎉
My husband & I was educated on how to save money on heating & cooling a barndo. When you go over the plans with the contractor, they will ask you about the level of installation that you want. Which means, there are 3 levels/types of installation to choose from. Lighters/medium/heavy and depends on the square footage & a few other factors. The heavier the installation the more you save on your energy & power bill. I hope this helps.
This is very nice inside, but I was a little disappointed. A Barndominium of that caliber should have a 3-4 car garage / multiuse workshop or a large RV garage (drive-thru is preferred) with a multiuse workshop.
i'm at the Chicago land market procedure for $800,000. You can go to Frankfurt Illinois area which is Wil county 4000 square-foot home newly built with Three car garage Unfinished full basement with full basement three-quarter brick and stone, front sides and back patio for 800,000+ or minus sum in the mid 750 range depending upon the finishes property tax to 15,000 a year

Hi Linzie - you can definely build one for very low cost. If you have the time, resources, land and friends lol this project is not hard at all. The one we are highlighting here is already done, on three acres, has the finishes and it's in a great community. I think that people get mixed up on the cost of building one from scratch vs buying one that's already built. Also, I love the feedback and I'm grateful that you commented 😇
Hey Douglas. This barndo and most barndos are steel on the outside. The top three benefits are the durability, they are fire proof and steel frames allow for more energy efficiency.
Really like concrete floors! You can buy those "utility sheds" on your own and retrofit. It is beautiful! Sometimes builders should have a woman construction supv. to assist with interior design/layout. 3 acres maybe why price?
There's no slope in the shower to drain the water, which will cause standing water. Also, there's no storage closets throughout the house. There's wasted space throughout the house. Contractors simply said lets build a barndo and they'll like it.
I agree on the storage space. I know that people are usually needing space for winter stuff, suitcases, etc - someone would have to get creative with the barn/garage/shop area
It’s worth the 100k to build the barndo then let’s say 60k for 3 acres. ‘Which is ridiculous’… so 160k for the builder… he’s gonna add 100k for expenses and profit because this didn’t take but 2 months to finish…..300k should be the listing price. But oh here we are in Biden America. Okay let’s take all that into account.. 400k should be the listing. Tell me where I am wrong? You’re 1 hr from Atlanta and the airport.
