I wanted the music cues from Another World, The Doctors, For Richer, For Poorer, and I wrote to Score Productions, Inc., and asked if I could buy a copy. They sniffed that they didn't sell the music cues. I reminded the company that Robert Cobert had released an 8 cd set of Dark Shadows cues (which I have). There was most definitely money to be made from these very identifiable cues. It's Score Productions, Inc., loss.
During the mid and late 80's they did sell copies. I bought a bunch of game show music from them. They charged me $10 per theme and would always send them to me on a cassette tape. Kind of expensive, but well worth it to me as I finally got to hear the whole theme in the clear without audience applause. There were times when I requested two or three themes and they still sent them to me on the same tape for only the one $10 charge. However sometime in the early to mid 90's they kind of stopped this practice of selling copies. It was good while it lasted.

Press Your Luck (2 open versions and main closing theme), Password Plus, Super Password (open theme only), The All New Let's Make A Deal (open and close themes plus a 30 second commercial vamp. Fun House (open close and halftime commercial vamp) The Better Sex, Match Game 90 open and close theme. I think that is it from Score. In 1986 I was also able to get The Match Game Hollywood Squares Hour theme plus commercial vamp and fee plug vamp from someone who worked at Mark Goodson Productions. Those are all of the themes that I can remember getting directly. I've got a lot more now, but they come from many different sources. Mostly people who collected themes like myself.
The 1976 theme to "I've Got A Secret" was recycled as the theme to "Second Chance," Bill Carruthers' precursor to the more-successful "Press Your Luck."
"THE STARLOST" was taped in Canada, and syndicated in the 1973-'74 season. Creator Harlan Ellison disowned it, and insisted on being credited as "Cordwainer Bird". Only 16 episodes were produced.
And one of the stars was Robin Ward, who later hosted the 1980-81 revival of To Tell the Truth, as well as the more successful mid-80s Canadian family quiz Guess What.
I found a copy of this awesome LP tonight online via Discogs. Found it interesting that the "To Tell The Truth" version here is an edit, but still cool! Thank you for sharing!!

It was a good series, but the ratings weren't enough to convince the network to continue production for a second season.
16:27 G.I. Diary. Epic theme for an epic show. I watched an episode here in TH-cam and wanted to see more, but the show is really hard to find. I had to buy the 25 episodes, US$44, VHS recordings I think. I'm currently upscaling and enhancing the video files because the series is worth the effort.
The theme was reused for the unsold game show pilot Babble (hosted by Tom Kennedy) and a re-arranged version wasn’t used as a cue on the 1980s nighttime Price is Right (also hosted by Kennedy).

Celebrity Charades theme was composed and orchestrated by Arthur B. Rubenstein.
The theme was reused for the unsold game show pilot Babble (hosted by Tom Kennedy) and a re-arranged version wasn’t used as a cue on the 1980s nighttime Price is Right (also hosted by Kennedy).
Rubinstein wrote the "Harvey" theme for the March 22, 1972 production (featuring James Stewart) of "THE HALLMARK HALL OF FAME".
The Marlo and the Magic Movie Machine music was apparently arranged and conducted by Pete Dino, according to the shows credits.

The Doctors is much more contemporary compared to Another World and For Richer, For Poorer which seem more dated.
