That was always my favorite game when I was little because if they win, you get to see them win, but if they lose, you get to see the climber fall. By the way, my mom watched The Price Is Right when I was a baby, and my first spoken words were "Bob Barker", said stretched out like his introductions at the beginning of the episodes.
I miss the decade of the 80s so much and the game shows that used to come on during those years along with the TV shows and movies and just the overall positive outlook of life and our country and now with every crazy thing going on it’s so depressing that’s good times seems so far away so

That's what I was thinking. However, standards and practices on the show state that any mistake on the show's part results in an automatic win for the contestant, regardless of the actual result. We saw that with the malfunction in the third clip.

I loved Mountain Climber as a kid and still do, however, I always rooted for the climber to fall off. 😅
