Systemica's version sounds like whoever digitized the tape had a faulty cable and the two channels are phase-inverted into each other. We're hearing the echo of the vocals, not the vocals themselves.
@@sergioenrique346 If you compare the original tape to acoustic version, the vocal tone and rhythm in the that version is higher and faster which means that the original tape has been degraded for over time
Actually it's a different recording I think. I'm not sure but there are some differences. Like the delay in the verses is missing, the synth melody in the beginning, different drum fills.. probably the "original" was some kind of demo and they made another version for the ep
Thanks for including the unaltered tracks! Now I know what I have to do. I'll try to get the best sound out of these that I can with my hardware & software. Then I will post these here on TH-cam.
i am still waiting for FEX to officially re-record the song and i will upload it here too. I'm really glad we found this song and the official band behind it after years.
i had a game open called redneck rampage and i thought this music was coming from there i had no idea i left my youtube tab open so 10 minutes later here i am
Aun falta encontrar el porque la estacion de radio que la transmitio por primera vez no tenia el mas minimo registro de la cancion ni de quien la compuso, o ya se aclaro eso?
Which in fact, I just realized that if you put the official version and the remastered version of Ajoura's at 0.75 speed to compare it with the tone in which the version that sounded in NDR2, You will notice that Ajoura's remaster at 0.75 speed, It is and sounds much more similar to the version we all knew than the official FEX version itself at the same speed.
@@CZghost yes. I just saw that live version here on TH-cam. It's photos of the band with the actual live recording of the song. Fair audio quality and worth listening to.
@@CZghost I just finished mastering these three songs plus the live version and the instrumental to my desktop. Then did noise removal a normalization with the audacity software. It's now playing in a loop on my hi-fi set. Awesome!. Next up is trisome 21 (with the song), Bochum Welt, Catfish, Insoc, and Luke Hash. Some of the above is goth and some is new wave. Cheers!

This is an amazing theory
Yes very astute observation!!!!!
it's also the studio version according to the band, could be too much reverb
I prefer it like this then
now that im listening back to the original one, you may be correct!!
Original cassette tape has definitely degraded over 40 years, contributing to the slightly slow feel of it making it sound slightly different
Really? 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Best version is most definitely the full version provided by both the original radio station and FEX’s own EP…😅
Yeah I think the song sounds better in the slower speed

The Darius version
Nice compilation.👍
Forgot the acoustic version
The full EP is very David Bowie/Oingo Boingo like!
Live version?
No Live versions?
One did surface, it's a recording from their concert in Paderborn in 1985. Not in this video tho.

@@POEMS466 I did. It's honestly great!
@@CZghost Yah, it sure Is! Ialso heard an instrumental version of a guy playing rock guitar, also here on TH-cam. Definately good.
