I love your experiments Dr.Maxfield, that was the best explanation of hydrophilic/hydrophobic and lipophilic/lipophobic. I appreciate the time and planning that went to designing this simple but visually appealing experiment. Everyone from the average person to medical students got something out of it. P.S. I love your apron!!!
Hello Dr. Maxwell. Question": If Vitamin C cannot get in the skin, So do we need to apply hyalouronic acid first and then vitamin c? Is it help to penetrate the vitamin with Aha first and then vitamin C?
Can you do a video on upper lip lines and available products and treatments and a video on your opinion of sleep wrinkles and if the special pillows actually work. Loving you guys! Keep up the great work!! 😀✌️
Thank you for doing this. I just enjoy watching it. That you take time out of your schedule to do this is just mind-blowing. Wow, the experiment really helped solidify the concepts of oil- vs. water-loving. It’s really disturbing to think that using an oil-free, water-based cleanser alone with acne-prone skin can be detrimental. It seems oil or some other active like salicylic acid is necessary, or the oils could just clog your pores over time- you aren’t cleansing the oil properly. I’ve been considering stopping my pre-cleanse with sunflower oil. Definitely understand why it’s a beneficial part of the cleansing process.
I have a Question for the Doctors. How do you handle your skincare routine with your beards?, do you still put in products there so it gets to the skin or is the forbidden land and if so, what effects do they have on the hairs . Also I understand that we must not forget our necks in our routine so I'm a little confused.
Hey docs: what are alternatives for “dermaplaning” aka a razor for peach fuzz- I think it’s wrecking my skin every time I try it. I’ll have horrible burning and itching like that day or the day after and horrible breakout. Is my skin maybe just sensitive to the metal (nickel?)?
@@hollyw9566 I have tried regular razor as well and they do it too. I think I am just having a reaction to the razor blade itself. Nickel is probably what I reacted to.
Thank you Dr Maxfield for sharing your expertise... But how do we get our Vitamin C Serum to penatrate our skin? I was late to the live so obviously didn't watch it live where I could fire questions in... but am I missing something here? Like, am I not understanding what you are saying regarding stuff being able to penatrate our skin? (Vit C). Pls help Doc... or anyone els? Many thanks 😊 Lots of love Tia ❤
Can you do a segment on if its it's possible to restore elastin fibers please....I have deep neck lines I would like to restore elastin fibers and collagen thus resolving those neck lines. Any regimen you can recommend? Does microneedling help this?

Wow. Great to know. I’ve always known the sun damages the skin but to see it under a microscope puts a different perspective.
dr can you explain what is treatment and cause for spider veins
How can we restore collagen: rapidly? At home? Over time & what amount of time? Can you do a segment on this some time?
Thank you for your wonderful videos. Can you please recommend the two best anti-aging home devices that work differently? Thank you so much. 🌹🌹🌹

Just use a standard safety razor. Cheap ones are fine. This is such a rip off, if you're buying those fancy ones for "peach fuzz."

Doc, can the dark marks left by psoriasis be removed?

More of this!!
Is that mean if you wash your face with foaming cleaners containing salicylic acid, vitamin c can penetrate the skin?
IsDermaplaning safe ?? And micro needling ?? Why does so many people say yes n no??
Yes. 🎉🎉
So what is the conclusion? Make sure you cleanse your face with something that gets rid of oils so that vitamin c can penetrate the skin?

Are you doing live by yourself? Where’s your team?
We don't have a team with us lol. At most it's Dr. Shah and I in the room. So when Dr. Shah isn't there, it's just me
