The advantage of getting more frames even if they exceed your refresh rate is that it reduces your input lag by showing your monitor the most recent frame possible, if you're limiting it to 144 frames your computer only has 144 frames possible to display to you, whereas if there's no limit there's 300 possible frames to display to you, ofc this is only minecraft and this is only really important in fps games or something completive

@@00ike_su oh thats interesting. I didn't know that. But the difference shouldnt be that big either way right?
@@chumimiii yea it’s really not noticeable above 180 i’d say
The advantage of having a shitload of FPS is that you then have a margin for heavy mods/shaders which will enormously reduce the FPS tho
what pc do you use?
it said he had a 3090 64gb ram and i9 12900ks
@@Mateyfire oh lol I thought his was better since his fps is better just his cpu tho

Not really, not many people are interested in increasing their fps. If he had posted a farming video, there would have been a lot of views.

ty, this help me soo much
I just posted my first Minecraft Survival video, if you can check it out and let me know what you think I would highly appreciate it!! Thank you!

i already use this mods and now i can't live without fabric because i use a lot litematica and mini hud but still it gaves me more performance from my pc that has i5 3a gen 16 gigs of ram and a gt 1030 and i average 150 fps
A gt 1030 is better than my gpu(geforce 840m),
You should be getting more fps?(i get 100-200 on 5 render distance)
@@Baconator20000 i have 16/22render distance chunks and 16 chunks of simulations, all of the particles enabled, all the animation and most of the times i have like Steam, chrome, Spotify open at the same time, my minecraft is really pushed to the limit of really good looking but without using shaders or resource packs and pushed and a benchmark of mods for not lagging and still a have a really good average fps I can easily record the screen with obs but using a “low” preset on the cpu but the rec still is not blurry in intense gameplay or something
@@lorenzofal2068 Gyat dam, you're really pushing that gt 1030 to it's limits
@@Baconator20000 I paid for the all gpu (got it on eBay for 60€) and I’m gonna use the all gpu😂😂 jokes apart in minecraft the gt1030 is at 50 to 60% cpu (i5 3470) its on like 60 to 70% of usage, I bought rise of the tomb raider but for enjoyable gameplay I had to set on medium settings but the graphic is really good next thing I would upgrade is gpu or cpu by maybe going to a new platform like am4 to get the ability to change what cpus I want maybe going to a 3000 to a 5000 If mobo can but I don’t really know if zen 3 mobo supports zen4 so idk🤷🏻♂️
I also need likes😢😢😢

7:59 why did you censor the mod names?
Thats crazy. Fast chest got mentioned before MoreCulling...
Is there a good alternative to nvidium for us AMD and Intel folks out here?
There's voxy/distant horizons,
Both of them works with shaders but have less performance than nvidium.
Alternatively just wait for Amd/intel to released an update to allow for mesh shading
Not really, but using every other mod in the video (aside from nvidium ofc) does wonders on their own
bro 300 fps is good as most of screen can be maximumof 240 hz which means 240fps so it does not matter if you use vanila or other mods
FO, or Remarkably Optimized, or Simply Optimized are the best Modpacks for perfomance if u dont want to download one by one
For the maximum performance use these mods!
Badoptimizations
C^2ME

Dynamic FPS
Debugify
Enchanted block entities
Entityculling
Eerritecore

Yet Another Config lib
Smooth boot and thread tweak are the same thing,
Very many players only works for servers,
More culling is superseded by Modernfix and Vanillaicecreamfix as these have all the features of this already.
Debugify just fixes bugs, very minor fps boost,
Badoptimizations waste game loading speed
I just use the Fabulously Optimised Modpack. Its pretty good as it increases the fps and brings all the features of optifine.

I like how that 3090 has the same performance with nvidium as the 2070. Probably because the mesh shading cores are the same
Once Amd gets Mesh shading it'll shine above Nvidia in terms of nvidium performance
Hey, Anyone know whats wrong with my PC; it has 32GB of ram, 3090 (I have two computers this is what I play on more) I have an I9 11th generation but average 5-600 fps with my render distance set at 20 setting and the rest is set for default and some mixed so I get higher FPS, I use Sodium but I can have some good FPS but as soon as I move my mouse my FPS drops from 600 to 3-350 fps. What do I do? I also have 8 GB of ram allocated but I only run Sodium as a mod.
Lower your fps limit to a little above your monitor hz, lets say your monitor is 144hz limit your fps at 160-170. You will see it as 144 fps on your screen anyways but it will be more steady, it wont lag.
@@AaAAaaAb3 Thanks, I’ll try that. I run two monitors but play on one, My first monitor is a 144 hz samsung odyssey monitor and my second one I’ve had forever; Mag Innovisions monitor but I don’t know what kind. It displays stuff pretty well and ran just as smoothly as the 144 hz monitor but square and lower quality. Thanks once again; I’ll be trying in a little bit.
My edit is to mention that I have two that are free and the rest in use. Yeah Its a MAG innovision 700p. I tried and it works pretty well, I tried and my PC had to run a bit and then it ran smoothly. I will probably limit my fps to 170. Thank you once again!
@@GlitchPG3D you're welcome :)
Could also be your mouse polling rate messing with minecraft, lowering it could help
i have a
core i5 12400k
gtx 1050 ti
i used to get 400 to 500 fps in optifine.
And almost 1100 with fabulously optimized
Gross a 1050ti need to upgrade bud your in 2016 its 2024
@@MarilynMansonIsBetterThanRapnot everyone has infinite money you grease stain
OMG SHULKERCRAFT❤🎉
as a person who has a macbook pro this might help me get more frames, from 20 to 70 maybe
its better to just download remarkably optimised, it has better mods and also brings back optifine zoom. it may not feel the same, but you just change the preset in the settings using the mod menu. dynamic lights arent in remarkably optimized but you can bring them back by downloading lambdynamiclights. it also has a bit of customisation and some cool stuff like torches not emitting light underwater
Thx this will help me alot
thank you god thank you i have been waiting for mod so can get more fps in my minecraft
4:39 AMD-ium
Edit: Also, I would die for even 300 fps. I get ~40 without mods
"I have 300 fps which is unacceptable, I need at least 1000"
Me who gets less than 0 if I look around fast enough: 😐
8:03 modpack*
Man actually went beyond Sodium + the top 10 optimization mods on modrinth. There were some I never heard of even and I have a mod pack with +20 opttimization mods (my 3060 runs complementary shaders above 200 FPS, lets see if I can push it a little higher.
This is all cool and all, love the video, but all the mods are for fabric. I am currently building myself a modpack with the forge loader and I am having performance issues. Is there some similar mods/modpacks for forge as well?
why forge though? I know that switching to fabric might be hard e.t.c, but it has sooo many advantaged compared to forge
@@KingArkon I know it has some advantages, but the mods I have/want doesn't have equivalents in fabric. So that is why I am asking for forge
@@KingArkon idk why but i get more performance on optifine than in sodium maybe my pc is outdated or smth with sodium and other performance mods i get 115 avg fps but optifine gives me smooth 200 avg fps with no lag spikes on fancy graphics and smooth lighting. (I use low render distance tho)
I have 15 fps but it feels like 1000 fps NOW TAKE THAT TH-camRS
Bro you can't sprint pressing w 2x when under 20 fp lol
Distant Horizons can be configured alot and it also works with shaders
Can you do a showcase of performance mods for older versions of Minecraft.
Does these mods (like Optifine) will affect the performance of some farms as they change generation and spawn rate settings?
they don't change anything like that, they are client side mods
bro can u give me the list of mods so I can download more fast but you did very much easy to boost fps in Chromebook thanks ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Pro tip
Dont use a chromebook
@@Bupboy I have only Chromebook so you can buy me laptop so I will not use the chromebook
My Laptop runs with Sodium, Lithium and 8 Chunks Render Distance 90 fps 👍. But nice vid so i dont have to play Vanilla with 28 fps 🥲
the problem is that most mods are either unavailable in forge or arent updated to 1.21.1 yet. ofc i could play an older version such as 1.20 since more mods are compatible with that version but i love the 1.21.1 update so much. hopefully more mods will support forge and 1.21.1 soon
Hi shulkercraft I have optifine but it only gets me to around 60 FPS. Do you have any idea how to help?
Use sodium
Don't use optifine
