There are the moments when you can see the difference between a real singer and the others. He is perfectly in pitch. His voice is exactly the one i hear on his albums. This is a singer, a real singer.
Luther's voice was an instrument within itself. I only saw Luther perform live once when he was the lead singer of the group Change before he went solo back in 1980 at The Sports Arena in Los Angeles. How I wish that I had an opportunity to see him live sfter he went solo, but I'll always cherish my memories of seeing him perform in any capacity ❤️

Chances are, compared to the guys I’ve listed, many of the singers people claim can’t sing, can singer better than a lot of the old school singers who weren’t very good. I would also add that, many people assume that certain today can’t sing because of their use of auto tune. A lot of people don’t know that they use auto tune for effect. Luther's voice was an instrument within itself. I only saw Luther perform live once when he was the lead singer of the group Change before he went solo back in 1980 at The Sports Arena in Los Angeles. How I wish that I had an opportunity to see him live sfter he went solo, but I'll always cherish my memories of seeing him perform in any capacity ❤️

Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, Lou Reed, Tom Waits, etc... Singers who didn’t really know how to sing. I doubt the old school would consistent in turning out famous people who could sing. Chances are, compared to the guys I’ve listed, many of the singers people claim can’t sing, can singer better than a lot of the old school singers who weren’t very good. I would also add that, many people assume that certain today can’t sing because of their use of auto tune. A lot of people don’t know that they use auto tune for effect. A lot of those singers can sing. T-Pain, Britney Spears, and dew others I’ve heard without it. Similar to Peter Frampton using the talk box. Just adding effect.
