Our Mauritania Airlines plane landed at Tunis-Carthage International Airport in Tunis, Tunisia.

We have finally landed in Tunis, Tunisia. The airport is called Tunis-Carthage International Airport. The airport is named for the historic city of Carthage, located just east of the airport. Gerak Darma's team is excited to disembark from our Mauritania Airlines plane and head towards immigration. We had already booked our hotel and will take a cab to the hotel as soon as we get through immigration and take our baggage. We saw pictures of interesting places for us to visit during our stay while walking to the immigration area.
