I also highly recommend downloading the Avenza maps app. It has sand hollow on it and all the trails, plus gps tracking 👍🏻

You should get into dirt bikes too!! Or ATVs like ( Yamaha raptor 700 or maybe a Can Am 1000 )
I've been there before. There is a place there where you can rent atvs and utvs but they suck. Me and my buddy spent a couple hours trying to get unstuck lol
I might buy a Can Am just to rip up some fun but you know i got a farm that i could just do that on with my dirtbike. But hey Ken wanna help me out with my bike and make a video on my farm one day.

There's a lot of bad a** off road trails around Duck Creek and Brian Head have you been to either one I live in Beryl Ut and that where we go play I like trails and rock crawling

Utah. UTVs are legally allowed on non-highway roads here. Another perk of the state!

What would be a budget solution for someone wanting to learn to drive stage rally? Start off in a car or a Can-Am?
Start off by volunteering at a rally. It's free (minus travel), and you get to meet everyone involved. From there, go to a rally school like Team O'Neil. You'll learn everything you need to know to get started. A Can-Am would be a great place to start because parts are cheaper to replace, they're fast, super compliant, and easily tow-able to places.
