As an avid fan of Villainous, Invited to the Ball is very reminiscent of Lady Tremaine’s “Invitation from the King” card art, but I think it’s just using the same shot from the movie and not a direct reference. I highly recommend the game, it’s pretty complicated but it’s super fun!
We have the game, but we just never had the chance to come around it to play it. But we should try it out very soon. Thanks for the insight about the card.
As a Disney Villainous fan I can say that Invited to the Ball action is remarkably similar to the item card Invitation from the King in Lady Tremaine’s deck, at least in terms of the invitation being similar.

It’s going to shake things up. If any ink colour can support a high cost uninkable, it’s definitely Sapphire. Between this card and Merlin, there are some fun new toys for sure 🤩
In regards to the Mufasa card. If you know what cards are in your inkwell or even a specific card, based on where it's placed. How would you know if it was randomly selected??
Usually when there’s a “random” condition attached to any card, you must shuffle it and select it in random in front of the other player. That would solve that. ^^
I think this nerf is WAY overkill, just 2 out of the 3 changes would have been enough. Also, they could have taken this opportunity to nerf some cards that have been problematic since set 1 (without complitely obliterating them like Buky, of course).
Agreed. If they are going to nerf, they could simply have just removed “Ward”, for instance. Obviously that’s just our opinion. It’s hard to comment without knowing the full picture for future sets and so on.

I believe that gigantic thing on the background of Minnie’s card is parts of the great Illuminary, like its pillars, collapsing. I am also excited for eventually seeing a Merlin virus. Maybe he will destroy ink hahah!
@@InkbornHeroesYeah, it's probably supposed to be a part of the Illuminary. But it looks like it's going down BEHIND the party tents. Which means it must be HUGE. I wasn't aware that the Illuminary was even big enough to contain parts like that, let alone lose them.

I actually play a hero deck and run Goofy. I like him better than Tamatoa and cost 1 more. He's a great closer.
