@parsonsproductions.5869 I can tell by the way it sounds at idle, and during acceleration. I've been riding and racing air-cooled Kaws since the late 70's. If that thing was tuned and running properly, you never would have been able to grab that big ol' handful of throttle on that sealed concrete the way you did. With those pod filters, rejetting is a must for anything resembling proper operation.
I have a KZ twin. As soon as I switched to pods had a lean condition. As soon as I rejetted she became the baddest bike on the road lol.
Keeping mine forever. Excited to lose compression and bore her into a 900 someday.
The cinematic 👌🏼
Is their a part two? Cuz I just got one im trying to restore
Sorry for the late reply, check out my channel, I try to post weekly updates on my KZ, Id love too see your build!
What did you actually do/change?
We added spacers to the throttle needles in all 4 carburetors. Made a huge difference
Please lower your headlight ….🙏
❤❤❤❤❤❤
What handle bars are those
I’m not sure about those ones. However I put on 50mm clip on’s and they’re awesome!
Please lower your headlight…🙏
I will lol😂
That thing is only running on 2 cylinders
Why do you say that?

Hmm, interesting. The bikes been sitting for a while now. I’ll have to look into that a bit deeper. Thanks for tip!
@parsonsproductions.5869 just be careful. Riding it while it's running lean can burn a hole in a piston.
I’ll make sure to get her back in tip top shape 🫡
