  • Footage taken from the first days of workup cruises prior to Enterprise's 2006 deployment. Includes first Super Hornets to land onboard, with the F-14 having just been retired. Both flight deck crew and pilots need to get trained up for flight deck certification before a ship can deploy.
Originally filmed on Digital 8 tape. Digital conversion and 60fps upscale thanks to Carl Shinko of Longfooter Productions.

I work for a steel foundry, i helped make some parts that are going into the next Big E. Specifically i remember making pump housings the size of automobiles and impellers made with alloys that go into nuclear power applications.

Sweet footage! The lack of tomcats is disconcerting 😢

Amazing footage! Have to ask though: Is there any hope for future Silent Hunter content? You were my favorite SH content creator!

Hey devin so i love your silent hunter content and have downloaded all the updates and mods for it but i cant figure out how to activate the updates and mods any chance we could get an in detail vid on that?

I'd recommend just doing a YT search for a JSGME tutorial. I never remember how to do it either so that's what I do! It doesn't have to be specifically for silent hunter, any demonstration should give you the gist of how to do it. Just make sure you follow any instruction in an SH mod documentation to know which parts to install in order
