first time watching a ff5 speedrun and ngl galuf spent so much time on the floor towards the end that i was half expecting the strat to be to just never bother reviving him and let the forced win battle bring him back up
or, well, "forced win" if you don't bone mail phoenix down yourself like that.....i think that's what happened, right? or was it just some pure jank lol
galuf being dead for barrier tower was so atomos doesn't nuke the team with a meteo spell right off the hop as that's insta wipe. bone mail later on is just so you can phoenix down him in the battle to bypass the script vs exdeath and get out of that fight sooner :)
@@Bdewd yeah yeah i figured as much for atomos--funny how his gimmick makes him wayyyyy easier than he otherwise would've been and okay so i was right then abt how u got outta the scripted exdeath fight. kinda surprised the devs even thought to make you still win there even if you manage to kill galuf...
