Perhaps a picture of this is in Ezekiel 47, when man is so emptied of self and filled with God it cannot but help but to flow back out of the inner sanctuary of Man into this world touching everything with the goodness of God for whichever and for wherever this river is sent. It does not miss its mark. It knows its appointed work.

That is a beautiful passage that seems to directly address the metaphysics of flow that Eckhart loved so much
