The way his coach’s hand shakes as he dumps the water is truly breathtaking talk about manifestation
he loves his fighter man truly beautiful
That handshake showed the wrenched stomach the cornermen felt. He was wearing the moment for his student
Wow i didnt even notice that. What an intense moment
He’s trying not to waste it 5 round fight it’s not that deep
@@zr0buks_ It's the last round.. There's no reason to save any of it
Actually this is one of the greatest moments in the history of the UFC, what a story👑
For the new generation but it has beeb done before several times in the last 20 years
@@crocop4lifewho has done it to someone as dominant as Usman, last round, down almost all rounds
1- Leon Ko Usman
2- McGregor Ko Aldo
3- Max Ko Gaethje
@@crocop4life actually no this has never happened. final rd, down on all judges scorecards and headkick KO. Never been done
Holloway KO Gaethje: hold my beer 😂
“YOU GOTTA PULL DIS SHIT OUT DA FIYAH!!”
Hands down most uplifting saying I’ve heard
Gets me every time!!!
I like how he got in his face.. and Lean is kinda pouting and said "I'm Not' -- like a little kid. lol.. Coach wasn't having that quitting attitude
I always think about this when I need motivation 😂
Thank god you said this, as an American speaking English I didn’t know wtf he said hahaha
Amazing
Damn I never knew his corner called for that kick like that, legendary
They were calling for it in round 2 and 3 also... when he was not being moIIiexdted on the ground
That was actually his younger brother calling for the "drop head kick". He happens to be an MMA fighter as well.
@@beaten-bruised-unbroken *cross head kick. Referring to the kick following the left hand
@@beaten-bruised-unbrokenhe said cross, head kick.
His brother
amazing, leon lost belief in himself but his corner still believed in him till the last second even though he was losing and down on the score cards
Leon stopped believing in himself but his corner never did. Powerful stuff
Because they know Usman was going to duck into it.. They drilled this left cross/ followed high kick in camp.. over and over. That's why the coaches kept telling him it's there. The coach knew it was going to be there before the fight ever started.. This is why you study tapes of your opponents
Wonderboy also called it when breaking down Usman's fight @@calholli

Wow the importance of having a corner ! They literally made this happen
More the importance of having a coach who ALSO used to be a fighter. They can see openings and things that may work that their fighter can't see because hes in the middle of battle.
@@neito.m.6741 all mma coachs used to be fighters
They made this happen by drilling it over and over in training camp
@neito.m.6741 both. Leon nodded his head right after saying the man's right and he started listening after that. Nate said he was better with Nate in his corner. Khabib in your corner is another example of someone who can set someone straight. For sure that other coach advice to go for the head kick was the right move but he wouldn't have taken it but for the Old man telling him to stop feeling sorry for himself.
Ya absolutely! I still can't get over Wilder firing his cornerman for throwing in the towel in 2nd Fury fight. Then Wilder got what he wanted by getting destroyed in 3rd fight lol
This is by far the best camera angle of this kick
And the pep talk. Never caught that "I am not".
Exactly!
From this angle, that kick is scary as f.
@@david_100 exactly bro this angle makes this kick looks much more terrifying than what we already knew this kick as, equivalent of swinging a solid baseball bat and hitting one in the head but I'm sure he kicks harder than most would swing a ball bat so even crazier
@@MykelW7-2 ,
Yup, i agree100% 👌.

Amazing brothers😅😅😅
One of the BEST Ko's in UFC history, what a come back.

His brother yelling “cross kick Leon” right before it happened makes it even more stunning. A testament to having the right people in your corner who are able to see things from the outside looking in
He said “double jab kick” u need hearing aids or sumn cuz idk wtf a cross kick is💀
@@RobertSmith-dx8qg you are both right he did say cross kick Leon and then someone else said double jab kick.
@@RobertSmith-dx8qg tbf I heard "trust your kick, Leon" at some point too, I don't think anyone here needs hearing aids, we all got the message and more importantly, Leon did too haha
Are y’all Jeff? He said cross head kick like five fucking times and then right before the kick you can hear somebody say Jab kick
Till this day I still get chills .........OMG!
Atleast he Listen to his Corner , You can hear it First Head Kick , and He Delivered, Nice Head Kick !
The sound of the kick connecting to his head is insane
And tears….
100%
Jesus, it looks even faster and more powerful from this angle.
Loved that one his coaches called for it, saying ‘Upstairs with it now’.
You know what makes it even better? That's Leon's brother Fabian who called for it
Man, you not lying bruh. Like I know it was a nuke, but hearing it SNAP like that across Kamarus head when it lands in this vid is actually crazier.
Powerful fucking kick.
They called for it the entire fight.. Leon just wasn't listening
Yeah I've watched 100 angles this time you hard that bat hit Usmans face loud and clear 🥶
No diddy
This will go down in history as one of the most inspiring moments ever in combat sports
That’s why Dana promoted him from the 💀 with those simple BS Words at pre 300 presser plus catch more flys with honey 🍯 and Leon a pita without the belt now he’s pissed off going milk 🥛 the fk out that belt , point fight for a decade 😂
Leon wasn’t alone. His corner was with him in every step. They fought as a unit.
The knockout looks even more brutal in the clip, so savage
Man I’ve listened to his corner man hype him up like 200 times and it sends chills down my spine every time. Wild stuff
Best moment in ufc history In my opinion. The passion in his corner....the hand shaking....how they're screaming for the cross head kick....last minute and he does it after being so down. Its just beautiful.
No way. BMF Max Holloway last 10 seconds is best moment of all time
This shit still gives me goosebumps, and the way Fabian called for the cross-headkick 👌🏼
Dude, you can tell Leon was mentally broken even after his coach tried to fire him up. That's why you gotta trust your skills. He went out there and his training paid off.
Literally the best knockout ever in the ufc
Well it’s top 20 for sure .😂
Considering the circumstance, I'd have to agree
@@Candace575Your crazy bro it’s top 5 or 3 at least
Max vs Justin is better but this Leon kick is def top 5
@@pranavmalavalli5582nope that fight was already over. Leon had no business winning this fight and closed it out with the only option. It was like a hail Mary to win the Super Bowl

This, and the Max KO are my favorite moments in modern UFC history, and there's simply no close third.
I'd have to give it to conor KOing Aldo but depends how recent you're talking about. The Max Ko was a close second shocking mma moment for sure
@@tclyde865 let's say since that 2016 golden era. Because yeah Conor KOing Aldo was on that level!!!

The fact his bro called it is amazing ❤ I love that nothing like brother love
beautiful moment!! and Leon's interview afterwards is also history 🔥
I'll never forget this moment as long as I live.
Can't believe Usman let that land even after hearing leons coach yell it out 10x 😂😂
He set it up well and covered it well.. Usman never seen it coming because he hid it behind the punch
Jab kiri itu membutakan pandangan usman
@@calhollihis corner was yelling “cross head kick” and the first strikes he threw after was a cross followed up with a headkick😂
@@ravioligamer1758 They were saying it all through the fight; because they drilled it a lot in fight camp. Coach knew Usman ducks to his right a lot... That's what they were saying in between rounds too.
That’s his brother
Cross left kick call is amazing too and his hands shaking while doing the water is amazing
I love coming back to this every so often. Gives me goose bumps and onion eyes every time!!!
Goes to show how a brief few seconds of stern and thoughtful/intention filled motivation can change the course of whatever trials we may be going through. If Leon could take that moment to heart the way he did during battle like that, anyone reading this can "pull their shit out of the fire" too and make changes that result in better more favorable outcomes in their lives. For real. This is one of those moments where you can learn an important lesson through witnessing someone else's experience rather than having to experience it yourself. Learn from others experience, it saves a lot of time and hardships when you are open to learn through what you see other people doing. Picturing someone giving you this sort of talk during your difficult moments where your thoughts are telling you that you aren't enough or that you can give up. Done ever fucking give up , don't ever fucking tell yourself you aren't enough or that you aren't capable. Never let the thoughts control your decisions fully, thoughts come from nowhere and often times contain nothing useful or positive for us, use your heart and your soul to push through tough times and tough tasks. It is capable of guiding us way more than we give it credit for. Intuition.
It’s doesn’t get more British than shouting “stop feeling sorry for yourself” and the person answering “I’m not” then the other person saying “well what’s wrong with you then!” Haha love it 🇬🇧
I didn’t know someone in his team actually told him to do the cross head kick high , wow What a moment
Damn, the coach was shaking, lol.

The Head Shot Dead moment is one the greatest moment of all time in UFC history. At this very moment, Leon elevated himself and forever locked GSP as the best of this era.
Thank you for that Leon!!!!
Wow man,you really did your own head mind kick KO for life here...Thanks,all of us we need it in deep shit in our life's,sometimes there is a way even the last minute...

One of the best moments to ever happen in the UFC
I'm convinced this is the single best moment in UFC history, and I've been watching since the very beginning.
"Stop lettin' him bully you son."
He stopped.
Saw a man go from defeated to crowned king in moments
Wow! Each of these guys played their part just perfectly. This should go down in history as one of the greatest team achievements ever in mma
I love the encouragement speech by the coach it really motivated Leon 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I remember Leon's said, holding his belt "Look at me now, Look at me now", still gives me goosebumps...☝️
One of the best UFC moments. That's a real coach at work 💯✊
This gave me chills. I never thought Kamaru Usman could ever be knocked out.
Top stuff from Leon's corner.
His brother calling out the kick over and over gave me chills man
When "impossible is nothing" means exactly that. One of the most inspiring moments in my life. This literally changed my perspective about myself and gave me a "never-giveup" attitude. That " look at me now" at the end got me in tears! What a moment! What a story!!
It wasn't imöossible for leon...I would probably have struggeled a bit, even with the best pep talk 😂
Leon's coach hand was shaking when he poured water .. He was that passionate ❤
Dam that speech just gives anyone that has that competitive edge, f@cking chills. That coach was speaking from his heart and his belief in Leon. Goosebumps……
Crazy how his brother was screaming the move to win it all, insane moment in ufc history
What an inspiring message to his fighter...and a perfectly timed "stay sharp" from the other cornerman makes team effort come full circle!
One of my favorite corner moments ever.
I GUARANTEE he heard his Brother EVERYTIME he called for that headkick!! 👍🏾
I will always remember that night, truly an amazing fight night. To overcome something like this really inspires me.
People forget about this. This is one of the best KO’s in UFC history.
This is a top 5 most inspiring things I've seen in UFC, maybe even outside the UFC. This was just beautiful cornering and a perfect setup for the k.o.
You can hear his coach tell him to kick multiple times one hell of a coach way to keep his motivation up
That was so beautiful. How he flinched low looked low and went high
He is bullying u son ... Don't let him bully u son
-coach / Usman 💯💥👊🏻😎
Some of if not the literal greatest in fight coaching ive ever witnessed, leon was down and all but out, and his coach pulled him head first out of the shit, theres no sport in which you can succeed entirely alone and this is the greatest evidence of that.
When your coach & corner knows you better than you know yourself. Can you image the gratitude and joy as a coach after that head kick.
That's the self talk I give myself every morning.
By far my favorite moment in combat sports history. Just the way leon was losing, how dominating usman was in the division and how late the kick happened. I absolutely lost it. My eyes were glued to the screen hoping for a last round knockout
Great coach. Talked to sense into him when we wasn’t feeling confident.
That was one of the best moments in MMA history 🎉
This needs to become a modern day movie now.
His coaches screams are filled with love and belief.
The importance of coaching in fighting is so paramount.
One of the most epic moments in combat sports history.
One of the most beautiful moments captured by the UFC.
That Jamaican accent coach saved him 😅
His coaches speech still gives me goosebumps. Remember watching it live I couldn’t believe it
The coach said CROSS, HEADKICK like 3 times before he did it. Leon was calculating the perfect time. 🔥 this is a movie in real life 🔥
Personally for me this IS the GREATEST knockout i have ever seen! There have been so many incredible ko’s but this was just something else. The rounds leading to it… his corners unwavering belief and encouragment… aniks call and BOOM!
Headshot dead!! Truely a beautiful moment in time!
Pretty much the best corner man speech, and the best head kick knockout I ever see
One of the best come from behind knockouts of all time.
Every time this video and the Coach tells him to stop feeling sorry for himself is the greatest voice that Leon Edward had. THE COACH AND COACHES ARE PHENOMENAL.
He owes everything to his coaches
