I’m 24 and work at McDonald’s. I’ve been struggling in what I want to do in life and been depressed because of it and I hate fast food but now I think I will really take plumbing into consideration.
Totally agree with the host. I’ve been making a kick ass living for 26 years and I love every day of it. I honestly don’t feel like i work a day of my life. People appreciate what plumbers can do and I enjoy being a hero every day. I have also made lifelong friends through my trade. It’s not glamorous and it’s not pretty at times but I’m sooooo very glad I stumbled across this trade. Good luck. Work hard and learn from the experienced guys. The first six months or so are the tough times. You will want to quit and you will be tired. Then, things will click and off you go.
My buddy in high school was made fun of for saying he would become a plumber. He did and he has done real well for himself. Better than most kids that went to college.
Damn that sounds like me I graduated high school in 2019 and i told people that I was going to become a plumber they would laugh but now through COVID I got the last laugh. Plus since I’ve got here I’ve been getting taught on how to read the Blue Prints
@@greatnesspersonified4273 also been plumbing since 2019. My second year going to make 60k, maybe a little over in service plumbing. Still have 2 more years from journeyman wages which will probably be 85-95k and then it would probably be management to get another wage.
Been plumbing my whole life basically. But started hitting it hard when I was 16 My dad has a company. I’m 19 now. It’s been a good job and I could see myself doing it the rest of my life. To other people my age I recommend doing it if you are thinking about it. It takes a long time to learn it. Once you learn it Your gonna be unstoppable
Reese Wilson I agree. I wish I would have had the study guides to help it make sense. That is why I tell people about them. I think if they can see it and picture it in their head they will learn it quicker then they can make more money!
@@a2j2023 The plumbing company near me that I wanted to apply to was paying too low plus the hours they wanted me to work didn’t work out with my schedule. I ended up in the aviation field, and become a mechanic in the next 6 months or so💰 definitely money in plumbing if you have the open schedule .
@@jayyv5059 I am still young, only 16 but yes I am aiming for it, shouldn’t be much schooling, I’m gonna try to get into a trade school as soon as I can.
It’s awesome. It can be alot of hard work ALOT of the time but i see other trades work alot harder considering the material they use. Besides a diamond is made under pressure as well so by doing the hard work now that you’re young, you’ll be building your way into being a foreman or owner of your own company when you get older. Don’t let anyone fool you. This is a career and careers last a lifetime.
I just joined NTI (National Technical Institute) for the Plumbing training technician course here in Las Vegas, NV after following your videos. I’ve been working in the F&B industry and at the age of 32 I’m making my transition to plumbing for all of these great reasons. Thank you for these videos.
I am 35; a service plumber, and have been doing it about 5 year's now. I have always been mechanically inclined and picked up quickly. Being a hard worker and putting in the time on your own time to work on being better in your trade helps immensely. I did small arms and artillery repair in the military, and worked with my hands most of my life leading up to it. I fell into plumbing; which most people do. I got into this trade late in life at 30, but as long as you're a hard worker and use common sense you can move ahead in a timely manner. One of the drawbacks at least in service is you're done with the job is done, so your schedule is unpredictable, so it's hard to make plans.
Christopher I completely agree. Here is a link to the UPC Study Guide amzn.to/2RgYEn5. I recommend to start studying as soon as you get into your apprenticeship. It will set you apart from the rest of the apprentices. I also recommend this book to people studying for the Journeyman and Master exam here in Texas. I have a video where I tell you how I use it to study. Thanks for commenting!
ImGRIM there are many trades and careers that you can enjoy and live a comfortable life with. Do something that you enjoy. I’ve been plumbing for 38 years and I still love it! Good luck!
I had a opportunity to start plumbing right out of high school, turned it down thought I was to good for it, it was the biggest mistake ever, 6 years later I took up plumbing and it’s been the best decision of my life! I regret not starting right out of high school I’m 4 years in and still loving it! It’s a great trade and life skills to have! Just my advice don’t be indecisive like Nike says “just do it”
Take it from us ,you'll want to pick a trade and learn it well, plumbing, electrical or HVAC those are all good paying trades that will be around forever
I'm a plumber and an electrician. Started as a plumber but since today there is a lot of electronics and automation I went to school to also learn how to work as an electrician. It did very well for me because I can build intelligent central heating systems more advanced than every plumber and electrician for that matter i know. Having both trades made me the highest earner in the company ( 2nd to my boss of course) and i get to do only the more cool, interesting and complicated staff. My advice for someone who wants to get into the trade is this, yes you can earn amazing money but you also have to be amazing at it. That only comes with experience, constant learning, hard work and a good amount of intelligence. Most plumbers i know earn good money but not amazing. It's sometimes a fiscally hard job, sometimes work conditions are hard but you are going to have so much satisfaction, plumber ( trade people in general) are awesome to work with and there is never a boring day, you do everyday something different and you are going to work in different places, with different people for different people. As you can probably understand i love this job
Hey man, I wanted to ask how long did it take you to become a plumber and then a electrician I’ve been thinking about trade school recently and wanted to do something related to plumbing/hvac/construction to be honest I didn’t really want to go to the electrician route because of the time it takes and little difference between pay between hvac and plumbing Don’t mean to offend you but that’s what I’ve heard im not an expert I will be really thankful if you could get back to me it’s been 2 years though so I don’t expect you to 😂
@Jusn3030 I worked for a plumber for a year than started taking jobs for myself. Electrical work I learned by doing, watched a lot of TH-cam about that and also did course to get the license. But I was hell bent on learning as much as I could. So when I go on a job site I would take measurements and photos of other people work. I was a plumber within a year and half a year later I was an electrician. I also do HVAC during summer since there is so much demand and with heat pumps HVAC experience is also needed. For me doing plumbing and electrical work helped a lot since I can do what most plumbers don't. My advice is to find a job in the field you are interested in, don't ask for much money, what's important is that who you are working with is a really good tradesman so you learn how to work right, while you work just be very careful to learn. I know people who work for years for a plumber and still don't have much skill. That's because they don't want to spend the additional time and energy to learn. Also at the start you are going to make stupid mistakes, never ever hide them. Fix them and do the absolute best you can. That will guarantee you work.
@ Thanks man, atm I’m looking at how to install doors, bathroom essentials and fixing light fixtures And hadn’t thought it would be this simple to learn how to go out and do work But of course it will take multiple months at least to learn what I need to know about plumbing electrical carpentary hvac It’s so important to hear the thoughts on people who are already in the business like how you were on a construction site learning
I’m a senior in high school, been taking a plumbing course at ctech in Columbiana, AL for 2 years now, planning to get a job right out of school. Love the video
10 years into my career in banking, specializing in advanced collection. Burnt out. Love the idea of a hands on career, problem solving and always something new.

I had this in my mind for years and years to become a plumber and finally, I start the course in the next 2 years hopefully I will work as a plumber, Thanks for your video :) and take care of you guys.
Started my first year after being an unindentured for a month. Been working in this field for a short time but have learned a lot. It's a really cool trade. Thanks for getting me into all this, Roger!
I've been at it for about 12 years now, tried being a mechanic, worked in the service industry. But started plumbing because my girlfriend (now wife) got pregnant. Best decision I ever made. Proud of my work and make good money.
How much do you make? Can you be specific. I live in Texas I drive trucks I made 80k last year. Like 2300- 2400 every 2 weeks. Might be looking for a change. Let me know please.
Best thing I've learned is be nice to everyone and learn all you can . Been plumbing almost 25 years now own my own company I keep it small . Best thing I've ever did
I lost my job at a furniture warehouse March 26 because of the Coronavirus. I always wanted to get back into plumbing so I went to ask the only plumber I knew outside of the UA for advice, he hired me on the spot not two hours after I had been fired! Now I have more pay, better hours and the weekends off. Not to mention I am on my way to a better career with more opportunities instead of being stuck in a dead end job! I love plumbing and your video! Thank you new Sub!
Hey Guys my name is Cristian. I am 24 years old and im a plumber in Florida. I started making 100 a day as an apprentice working very hard, getting dirty and sometimes feeling like I had to work harder than what I was getting paid for. Now I am happy I gave it my all with pride in my work and now I make VERY good money to not brag. Don't feel embarrassed, just work hard and keep your head up. When I see people dressed nice and clean and start feeling down I just remind myself that I made their monthly paycheck in a couple days if not in just 1. Highly recommend this to anyone who is going or about to finish highschool.
Im 19 an ive alway been good with my hands an a very hardworker i just didnt know what career i wanted to go into for the longest till i moved into a house that needed alot of work i knew the basics of plumbing so i pushed my self an replaced all the plumbing with pex an i enjoyed everything about it an it seemed easy to me so i want to make good money an enjoy what i do . Thanks for making videos it really helps me want to go into plumbing
I just got my letter back from the United Association last week saying I’m on the list. I’m super excited to start this career. I know I can talk well with people, I listen well, and I work hard. I’m extremely excited to start this new chapter in my life.
Just graduate from a plumbing pre-apprenticeship fast track in Toronto. I start my new job in two weeks. I’m very excited for my future and working towards getting my license.
Rye Whiskey does Missouri have a contract with spiffs or compensation plan that's different from Construction? I am trying to find a way to build an incentive plan for my plumbers. Thanks for commenting, I hope you subscribed!
Great video.I worked with my uncle for 6 months and I learned soo much. I was snaking drains, replacing toilets, sinks, water heaters, clean outs and sauntered pipes. Dirty job but really fulfilling. My uncle moved and I ended up moving and I went to school.
@@RogerWakefield yes I do but I miss working with my hands and the satisfaction of fixing things. Also being out side and driving to different jobs. I almost became a electrician as well I got accepted as a apprentice for DWP. I been MRI tech for 2 years and do love it but its more computers.
Starting an apprenticeship on Monday , was stuck in a deli for 8 years . Really nervous but I wanted to take a dive into a job I know there’s room to further succeed in with time .
Thanks for that video! I agree with the points you made. Just before clicking this video I just sent my application to a Master Plumbers association to apply for an apprenticeship. I'm excited!
I'm a 20 year old lady living in the UK, and have been considering plumbing, i am trying to attend collage this September thank you for the video it really helped me.
Iv just taken my first steps into the plumbing world, I'm a professional barber of over 16 years and I'm in my 30s and want to try something different and completely new to me, I started a few days ago under a master plumber and I love it and I'm also very sore lol. My first job as an apprentice was very satisfying, we climbed into the attic (loft) and looked at the water tank and seen it was on its way out, we noticed a small tear drop leak and a ton of rust, I learned how to drain it disconnected it and replace it all in one day, the owner of the house was so grateful we saved her and her family a disaster that was going to happen in the near future. Overall in my very short time doing this I'm loving it and I'm not going to lie my body isn't, it's physical work, specially at apprentice level it's demanding but if ur a hard worker and enjoy problem solving I really recommend it Hope this will help someone who is thinking about taking on the trade and if ur mature like myself you can still do it age is but a number
@@rebel8440 Great still enjoying it and learning so much. It's a very satisfying career and I always feel like iv accomplished something after a very job we do. As for the body iv lost weight and am much fitter than when I started as its a physical job its gonna happen. Overall all still feeling good and haven't regretted anything.
I’ve been doing Instrument fitting (working with tubing, installing instruments) in various new construction plants in my area. Im only 20, but I’m considering plumbing once I’ve had my go at the plant work. I’d love to be self employed
I'm a 19-year-old high school graduate, and have been more interested in finding a trade than going to college, and my main focus lately has been plumbing. There's a problem for me though, and it's math. I have always struggled with math and understand that math will be needed when it comes to plumbing. This has been a big concern for me but I'm interested in learning how to do this.
+Myers31 math in general can get tough. There are great calculators made just for plumbing/piping that are a must have. In plumbing it is pretty simple math. Don’t let that stop you. I chose plumbing over college and I have no regrets. Are you wanting residential or commercial, new construction or service?
Same but every one in the trades tell me it’s low paying and hard on your body. They tell me it’s better to be in AC and do something that won’t take a role on my body.
This video is awesome. Really motivating! I was undecided in starting an electrician apprenticeship and plumbing apprenticeship. I got accepted into both programs but this made up my mind.
Thank you sir, i was always confusing to what to do in life ,and what is my hobby , but i realized that i can use my hands very Well and i like plumbing i wish i'll be à great one, im from Algeria
As an industrial maintenance mechanic we do it all, anything from troubleshooting a 480v system to plumbing in new waterlines, to troubleshooting and installing hydraulics, to welding and machining we do it all
Thinking about but I have no experience. U made broke it down in a way to make me feel like I can do it but I'm 40 years old not saying I couldn't learn it but I am giving it some thought
Nice vid im actually going into plumbing and gas service technician program at my local trade school once covid blows over and going to work on big construction sites in the future can't wait just been working stacking boxes at local stores for past 3-4 years but now wanna start family so need serious job and plumbers working on construction sites where im at make pretty good money so can't wait.
I just happened to find this Chanel by chance. Thank you for all the information you are giving. I was thinking about taking a traveling appreciate job in Texas for new commercial work.
I work 10 hours a day without getting tired. Ive gotten straight As in school. I've done irrigation and house repairs (self taught) and been thinking of doing plumbing as a profession as a apprentice. I love manual labor, love making money. But I'm a bit nervous going into it. Only real way of me getting hired or trained is by union here in florida...nobody will hire me as a apprentice (maybe roto rooter?) With no "real" experience. Sll my experience is all under the table so I have no proof of skills. So I'm wondering what my next course of action should be. I'd like to be a master plumber but dont wanna do a trade school. Thinking I should do the union way if possible. Once I'm liscenced I could probably go with other companies. Idk though. Big step.
I have been a plumber for 25 years The three things you need are show up on time, show a interest in what you are doing and never ever be on your cell phone ,work smart.
Plumbing fascinates me, its one of the only things ive found that gets me excited to get out of bed in the morning, i know there will be crap days that suck, but thats kind of what i like about it. If you just accept that some days are going to be frustrating you will enjoy your days much better, i am 22 and i dropped out of highschool, im going to get my GED and then go be a plumbing apprentice and im excited to go places. My ultimate goal is to run a non profit that has people licensed in trades and EMT training to go out to places where natural disasters hit and my people can help fix houses and potentially save lives by using their medical training! Also my best friend is a journeyman Electrician who has wanted me to get on with him, all i tell him is you cant wash away a bad shock.
Hello! Great video. I’m learning the trade to take after my dad. I’ve been working in the back end (office permits etc) however wanting to do more to take over company at his retirement (5yrs from now). If there are any videos y’all recommend I’d appreciate it. Good luck everyone.
20 years old and have been doing residential construction / service for about a year and I love it I am hopefully going to get my masters if lumbers prices go down haha
Brandorudy _ I’m not sure there’s anything better. It’s like a college degree without the student loans. You can make good money soon and great money as you advance.
I did the whole school thing have 3 college degrees, AS, BA and Masters in Business but it's extremely competitive to find good work and when I'm unemployed it takes months to find something. Getting tired of it and want consistency in my career and good pay. I'm 34 and can get in with my local union here in southern California. I'll be 35 by next summer when I get in. Been working on cars for over 13 years so I'm mechanically inclined and overall very handy with tools, soldering, some light welding. My question is this, am I too old to begin at my age. I'm hearing a lot of ppl in their 30s to even 40s are having a change of career in the trades. Thanks in advance. I enjoy your videos.
2dble fistn sounds like a great time to me. The trades need more people every day. Get in now because you will thank me in the future. Thanks for watching and commenting. I hope you subscribe so we can talk more in the future!
Sun KiNGGG why wouldn't they? Is there any other career where a guy gets paid for laying pipe all day? I don't think so... Thanks for watching and commenting!
My ex girlfriend cheated on me with a plumber , got off work and found him at the house “laying down the pipe” on her. Apparently he used his skill sets to get laid, so I ended up laying his ass out, tough times , but that’s life. Sometimes these women ain’t worth shit, and neither is the guy. He saw our photos on the walls, and he seen me and the kids photos everywhere. Thank god I didn’t just shoot em that day. Good raw strength and real good swing to that tender spot and he was out like a light .

Roger Wakefield, after running soil pipe ,4" branched to 3" and 2", my lead mechanic asked me what year I turned out. I told him I've never joined a hall, that I've only learned from field work, he was shocked.🤣

I’m 21 and when I was In high school I wanted to go to school to be a pilot was set on It to but my senior year came around I really started looking into being a pilot and it took too much time so I decided to do a trade 1.) kids my age don’t really do trades 2.) I’ll always have a Job 3.) make great money. I’ve been In school for plumbing for about a month now and I will be starting my career as a plumber tomorrow.

Nice video! I'm going to Tri-County Vo-Tec school. I was told by my uncle that plumbing was a great career. I also plan to go into carpentry and metal fab, gonna be a real handy man.
Why not pick a specialty and focus on mastering it? Just curious... I would think a skilled tradesman could make more money than a Handy Man. How much school do you have left?
@@RogerWakefield Hah very true, I'm definately pursuing the plumbing buisness. Over the past week I've been trying to figure what offerings the school has. I found out that they cover just about everything in class and they're associated with the Union. I have i few family members in there so I'll have a job off the bat.
I've worked in Logistics for the last 5 years. Mainly handle organizational stuff, but have started to really feel a sense of burnout and lack of pride in my work. I don't have any knowledge of tools, but I also am not afraid to get dirty (spend a lot of time crawling through/under dusty old racks to retrieve missing product for inventory counts). Would this be a good fit? I'm also 28, if that matters.
So I do not have make my own company to become a plumber or I can join a company .... And also have you seen any with dreads I really don't want to cut them
Fiji.nick you start out working for someone else that way you can learn. Later you can start your own company. I have had plumbers on my crews that had dreads... What part of the world are you in?
Is plumbing a hard trade to learn ? My memory isn’t great and if there too many steps to memorize (over 8)I wouldn’t be able to do it . Many employers want employees to catch on fast and learn fast. If it’s technical and complex trade I might not able to succeed in it If not plumbing which trade would you recommend
Jan H plumbing is relatively simple. There are things to remember but after doing it a few times it all makes sense. HAve you thought about getting into the union? The #UnitedAssociation has a good training program. They will take time to teach you too.
I'm 26, wife and 2 kids struggling to make ends meet. Would love to get into this industry but can't afford to quit my factory job and don't have any freedom outside of work.
Hello, I am in Vero beach, FL. I am a Plumbing apprentice at 52yrs old. love it! Going to class two nights a week. Had to take a pay cut as a apprentice at $12.00 an hour, but have been with a company for 5 months now, I know it is a journey. Doing a lot of digging and hard to do the work in service, when your the helper, but I am aggressive and pick it up. My goal is getting my journeymen license in 4yrs and get into management. I do not care for the on call part of service. most plumbers, I know hate it. just learning now,/ Any advice for me?? love plumbing, when I am not working, I study the codes, watch videos on all service jobs and I stay in shape. health and fitness. thanks for your video today. Alvin
Hello @vinrod34. Keep doing what you're doing. There is a lot to learn but it sounds like you are doing it the right way. I just shot a video about things to know as an apprentice. It should be out in a week or two. Subscribe to my channel so you see when it comes out and let me know what you think. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
theODDESTman we don't do on call. Most service companies do. It pays well if you have to though. Just talk to companies that you are interested in and see what their system is like. It's all about finding the right culture! Where are you located?
Hey Roger, I've been watching your videos this past weeks and I'm really interested on becoming a plumber. I'm currently 19 and don't want to go to college but sometimes I'm afraid that if I chose the plumbing career I'll failed it. I'm not really good at testing and those stuffs because I'm a slow learner. I really want to become a plumber but my anxiety is holding me back.
I’ve been working as a delivery / Med tech for a company maintaining and delivering bariatric beds and equipment to hospitals and at it for four years. As a blue collar guy I feel I’m looked down on and want to have a career where I can work for myself eventually and can have freedom enough to do my own thing, cuz once I learn how things are done I work best alone as I make my own system, but I can work with a team too. I like the idea of having money as well.
I am here because I start my job tomorrow as a plumbing apprentice I'm 23, I had my doubts if it was a good path to take thanks for the great video and motivation. They said most of my work would be snaking drains, 2 weeks training with someone then I am on my own, am I getting tossed around here? Is snaking drains really considered being a plumber? I know you have to start somewhere. I just don't want to be snaking drains for the rest of my career, I want more complicated tasks. Also getting paid on commission is that normal?
This video made me consider this career path. I've been stressing on what career path to take once I get out the army, I'll be 24 when my contract is over. I have a question tho, is this career difficult to learn?
I've been trying to debate between plumber and electrician and I was wanting to know what jobs pays better and what working hours look like. Im in high school and I dont want to go to college and this would help me out a lot to know all this
So I just bought union ball valve twice and got the wrong size it’s description is 2” yet each time I put a 2” pipe on either end it’s 1/4 loose what the heck is going on???
I'm interested in going into plumbing and even possibly moving out to texas (currently in florida). I'm 20 and in my third year of college at a big university but honestly, I feel like after getting my AA im wasting my time. I'm majoring in political science just cause I didn't want to really go into any other major. I'm mainly in college cause of the constant "you need to get your bachelors" I've always heard. I'd rather not waste my money and invest it in something that i'll make a good return on. I love making things and working with my hands to where I built my own computer. Should I look more into this as a career?
I think it would be worth checking into. If you can build a computer, you’ll be able to figure out the plumbing easily. At least I would think so. I would figure out what kind of plumber you want to be and go from there.
Anyone know how much the schooling costs. I want to get licensed here in Wisconsin it's 5 years as an apprentice or school degree. I have installed more bathtubs fixtures toilets excetera than I can count and I get down at work when I am not doing plumbing. It's so much cooler than carpentry!! Much love dude, love your videos!!

Trying to convince him to start w me but I don't know how maybe you can give me an idea how to approach him.i know plumbing is not easy I know it will be good for him but I don't waste his time been afraid that probably he wouldn't like it.thanks. I’m 19 and working at a retail store in the plumbing department. I knew absolutely nothing about plumbing, but in 3 months I’m quickly understanding the layout of the plumbing philosophy. The store will pay for my schooling if I want to work in a trade after 6 months of working there, but I’m not sure if plumbing is for me as I’m really indecisive. What should I do?
@Zesty Fish Lips I'd say you should explore the trade. The good thing is, you can be in plumbing without being a plumber. There's a ton of job opportunities, and you'll never know if you'll find your passion unless you explore. Also, you're young so you've got plenty of time to make a decision. Good luck!

do you need to do an apprenticeship to become a plumber, or can you go to college and skip joining a union?
Hi
I do agree with 100% plumbing is a career not a job! one can be what ever one wants to be !
I’m 24 and work at McDonald’s. I’ve been struggling in what I want to do in life and been depressed because of it and I hate fast food but now I think I will really take plumbing into consideration.
@ThomsT It is a great career. Have you done anything like this before? I have some great apprentices that work for me and seem to love what they do.
T Daddy you are completely right. It’s hard in the beginning because you don’t know what you are doing. After that it really starts getting fun.
ThomsT go for it bro👍👍
dude i am 31. LOL I feel u.

Sir, you just changed my life ! I’m 31 stuck in a career I hate . I start applying for apprenticeships next month !

@@jayyv5059 thank you, means a lot.
I just joined NTI (National Technical Institute) for the Plumbing training technician course here in Las Vegas, NV after following your videos. I’ve been working in the F&B industry and at the age of 32 I’m making my transition to plumbing for all of these great reasons. Thank you for these videos.
Hows it going

I'll consider it, im straight out of high school and im still indecisive.
Hey man, I wanted to ask how long did it take you to become a plumber and then a electrician
I’ve been thinking about trade school recently and wanted to do something related to plumbing/hvac/construction to be honest
I didn’t really want to go to the electrician route because of the time it takes and little difference between pay between hvac and plumbing
Don’t mean to offend you but that’s what I’ve heard im not an expert
I will be really thankful if you could get back to me it’s been 2 years though so I don’t expect you to 😂
@Jusn3030 I worked for a plumber for a year than started taking jobs for myself.
@ Thanks man, atm I’m looking at how to install doors, bathroom essentials and fixing light fixtures
And hadn’t thought it would be this simple to learn how to go out and do work
But of course it will take multiple months at least to learn what I need to know about plumbing electrical carpentary hvac
It’s so important to hear the thoughts on people who are already in the business like how you were on a construction site learning

Overall in my very short time doing this I'm loving it and I'm not going to lie my body isn't, it's physical work, specially at apprentice level it's demanding but if ur a hard worker and enjoy problem solving I really recommend it

Learn, learn, learn... Being educated is the best way to go! Check with me anytime!
I’m currently a plumbing intern and I applied for the local 398 plumbing apprenticeship and I have my appointment with them tomorrow I’m excited and nervous at the same time
Don’t be nervous, you got this! Let me know how it goes!
Yes The Crumbs good for you. What part of the world are you located in?
@@RogerWakefield Massachusetts, unfortunately not a red state like Texas but hey what can you do
My question is I want to be a plumber but I have small fingers/ weak hands so I don't think I will be able to do it
I've worked in Logistics for the last 5 years.
I'm just a young man trying to find my way in life
Maybe a plumber?
So I do not have make my own company to become a plumber or I can join a company .... And also have you seen any with dreads I really don't want to cut them
Fiji.nick you start out working for someone else that way you can learn. Later you can start your own company. I have had plumbers on my crews that had dreads... What part of the world are you in?
@@RogerWakefield I'm in the States
Thank you for the video : great information
Is plumbing a hard trade to learn ? My memory isn’t great and if there too many steps to memorize (over 8)I wouldn’t be able to do it . Many employers want employees to catch on fast and learn fast. If it’s technical and complex trade I might not able to succeed in it
If not plumbing which trade would you recommend
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
do the hours depend on what company you work for, and what are the hours like , how dose being on call work, are you on call everyday ?
theODDESTman we don't do on call. Most service companies do. It pays well if you have to though. Just talk to companies that you are interested in and see what their system is like. It's all about finding the right culture! Where are you located?

Hey, I'm a senior in highschool, what should be my first step towards my plumbing career? I'm a hard worker and I know I can do this

U can do it mate u don't have to be perfect straight away nobody is I believe in you
Me too😔my anxiety gets the best of me i am kinda a slow learner too and im also scared if do plumbing ill failed it aswell 😔🚶🏾♂️
I’ve been debating on if I should go to a 4 month plumbing school
Thank you Roger you give me hope!!!!
This video made me consider this career path. I've been stressing on what career path to take once I get out the army, I'll be 24 when my contract is over. I have a question tho, is this career difficult to learn?
I don’t know what’s the best way to get into it?
I'm a plumber and your tips really helped myself and the students. Thanks. I love cheese!!
Glad I could help!
#10 really motivated me. Thank you.
Thanks for watching! Good luck on your journey
Can you choose between residential, commercial, etc? And what is the rough salary for North Carolina?

Will you talk about job corps plumming
Good luck!
The Expert Plumber thank you so much. I’ll look into it.
Good Luck @Zesty Fish Lips! What part of the world are you in?
