Decided to take advantage of a beautiful late Dec day here in So Cal. No wind today so wanted to get in a rare evening ocean kayaking trip. Caught a few fish and enjoyed a beautiful sunset.
Caught all fish on a #1 hook with half a shrimp and 1/2 oz sliding sinker. Fished the kelp in about 35 ft of water.

Think I caught a triggerfish this same evening! Beautiful day before the storms! Nice catches

That's awesome. I caught a triggerfish last year and they are great fighters. I hear they taste really good but their skin is super tough
