I kinda feel the same; all their signature models are basically the same as the standard or ,in some cases, the custom models. having said that, I still think that Gibson is a good guitar company.
You couldn't give me either a Flying V or a guitar with EMG pickups... or another Gibson (other than the one I've had since I was a kid) for that matter.
at 5 grand thats actually not bad for a custom gibson signed by kirk. i get the feeling that kirk is likes it in the ass but regardless he is still an amazing player. Not quite as good as mustaine though

I got a gibson explorer 84 /w James Hetfield pickups! never used such powerful sound on any guitars as my explorer do! love it!

I believe you need to remove the scratch plate to replace the battery. Still, a cool guitar.
I tried one of these once, it wasn't very good. It wasn't properly set up though, and I didn't have time to dial a good tone either.
How many did they make? because those will be more rare than a regular one. it'll be more of a collectors guitar in years to come i guess.

He is not contracted with ESP he is only sponsored by them so he does not have to promote or play ESP if he doesn't want to.
