      @yayoinkdab5883 He isn't saying get rid of ALL guns... he is simply saying that it is too easy to get them and that there aren't really a whole lot of things in place that would allow for people to see the warning signs that someone might be looking to get into something shady. Take the guy from the LV shooting, no prior convictions, no signs of mental illness, something as simple as the laws in place now to regulate how many matchbooks, or even motion sickness pills a person is allowed to purchase within a given timeframe might have prevented the entire thing or at least made it more recognizable ahead of time.

    • @yayoinkdab5883
      @yayoinkdab5883 ปีที่แล้ว

      @kristopher jensen okay and how on earth do you plan on testing someone with no mental illness and no convictions? If they pass the tests and background checks already in place, there is nothing you can add that will predict if they are gonna go insane 2 months down the line

    About the song eminem said
    " As soon as you touch that topic a bunch of ego maniacs come to say" Don't take my gun " It's not about that. No one is telling you to give up your gun. Think outside of your little person. I'm just starting a conversation about the guy that is stacking a full arsenal of weaponry like they're waiting for a war in their living room or something and this is the first time they are going to flip out. For whatever reason but they are full of rage and they have the plan in mind and now they have a full arsenal to execute that plan. What about that guy? There's no stopping that guy. You pretty much guaranteed for innocent lives to be taken. So when people start to talk about background check and all that that's not the issue. There's a first time for everything "

    The whole concept of getting ready for a concert appearance and a mass shooting being alike in a lot of ways due to the "preparation mentality" is not only disturbing as hell, but genius when you consider the fact that so many people who do the shootings are looking for fame and be remembered for doing something radical.
    And the way that Em can tell a story, as well as verbally paint a picture with references, just makes this hit even harder when you are fully aware of the way things played out.

You're hearing the doubles and start to get suspicious, but you shrug it off as Em being Em. Then, a little further in, you start getting chills. And then by the end of the song, you're just wrecked. Its one of those tracks like Arose that is just amazing, but you really don't want to listen to it again. I mean, you do listen again, of course, just not like his other songs. Thanks, Em! If you don't know sound of silence go and listen then come back and listen to this. One door opens another. You have the point of view of the performer, the crowd, the gunman. This opens eyes to politics on the gun laws in America. If you can't see what he is saying you either deaf or blind. Open your mind, open your ears, open your eyes. Kudos for the way he delivered this political message. In my opinion he is spot on. Need I say more. Fix it or suffer the consequence of what you reap.

    Great reaction to a masterpiece of musical storytelling! Congratulations on being one of the first reactors I've seen that figured out what was happening as early as you did. Watching your shock as you absorbed both stories simultaneously brought me back to my first time watching this video before the disclaimer was added.
    There is so much you caught and discussed in this song. With more listens, you'll catch more references that reveal even more layers. For example, the lines "Going Keyser Soze" ..."Some of'em John Travolta, stayin' alive by inches".
    He went from "The Usual Suspects" to "Pulp Fiction", both masterpieces directed by Quentin Tarantino, who depicts the effects of drugs, alcohol, and extreme violence. In "The Usual Suspects", Keyser Soze killed everyone, but no one knew who he was until the shocking reveal after everything was all done. In "Pulp Fiction", John Travolta's character Vincent Vega was miraculously not killed when multiple rounds were fired at him at close range. These aren't just metaphors for the shooter and the people he missed.
    In the context of this being a story about Eminem, he's both Keyser Soze, the legendary "man of will" who runs the show and "kills" all other rappers that anger him ...and he is also Vincent Vega, who survived despite all shots fired by a younger, unskilled shooter before returning a kill shot.

    I remember I downloaden this song. Didn't know it had a video. An the first part. Was like before the show starts like stage fright etc real vivid. But than as the concert going people start hoping fences. It started to dawn and the entire previous bars lines. Flashed trough like. Wait. Did I hear or wrong and right at the same time... A week later I saw the video. And tough it is a good vid. It can't compete to the first listen. Murikah... Fuck yeah.

    Back in the day, Eminem was so depressed and strung out that he could have easily become the shooter. They started in the same dark place, and I think Martial sees that.

    Some of the best ever would struggle to make a song like this even by doing ike line for the show and the next like for the shooter and so on. Em does it each bar for both at the exact same time. Possibly one of the most well constructed songs of all time. Royce produced this btw. Great track.

    I watched a reaction video a girl did, I wish I could plug her channel but I just can't remember her channel name at the moment, but she was at that concert, it was difficult watching her reaction/real life memory once she got the entendre, crazy world, odds she would have a channel that reacts to music and react to this video right when it dropped, but was also at the Vegas concert?.....1st watch you will catch it for sure at some point if you know about the shooting, but still, like if you saw it as well please, or know her channel name!!

    The whole song is a double. There are very few in the rap game that could pull off what Em did in this song.
