Something else that proves it is how rare it is to hear Em being played while you're out in public. A lot of haters like to use that argument to trash him, but that doesn't make sense. He doesn't promote, get radio play, or get bumped in a car for everyone to hear, at least from my experiences that is. And yet he's nearly 50 and he's still getting better (technically...), and outselling everybody else in the game today. How does this help their argument🤦♂️
And his 15+ year old albums still make the Billboard hot 100 album sales, and deep in it too. How many albums even over 1 or 2 years stay on there for long? Not many. He has some that are near 2 decades old on there. Because he is not only a once in a life time artist, he is a once in forever artist. Like Michael Jackson for Pop, and Queen for Rock, artists like those, that won't be replaced or replicated ever. Em is on their level.

Love the reaction, guys! The three of you have such a great chemistry/interaction. I’m a simple woman…when I see you guys post an Eminem reaction, I click. 😂 This track was the perfect intro/prologue to the album.
So I’ve been a fan of Em since the Slim Shady days - he exploded onto the scene when I was a freshman in high school. He was amazing then, and I certainly still love a lot of his older stuff. But his sobriety let him reach whole new levels of skill in all facets of his game. It’s a damn shame that other than a handful of songs from Recovery and MMLP2, he’s gotten almost no radio play since his overdose. Honestly, every album from Relapse through MTBMB is amazing - just with different vibes.
My personal favorite from MTBMB is “Leaving Heaven” - amazing lyrics/wordplay, sick flow switches, and hits hard emotionally. Other must-react tracks include “Darkness” and “Never Love Again.” Oh, and “Tone Deaf” is hilarious - I feel like it’s a slightly more mature/refined Slim Shady. 😂
Revival was FULL OF BARS... but it was the first album where not only was he talking about much different content, he was also flexing a crazy hidden-metaphor pen... its actually the album where he first tried shooting bars over people's heads. It worked. 😂 Go back and decipher the lyrics, it might be his best lyrical work next to this album. Only thing held it back besides over the head bars was the not-so-hittin beats.
Mark my words... that album will be re-recognized years from now.
MMLP2 is his best lyrical work followed by Relapse. Revival, while lyrically solid is so full of lame ass dad jokes and forced corny punchlines. MTBMB has those too but not nearly as bad. Revival was hated due to poor production and shitty mixing. No album with such a high budget should sound like that.

Still think this should have been on his next Curtain Call album. This song personified just how bad ass Eminem is, how he dismantles opposition in this rage fueled track calling out the hypocrisy in the music industry when it comes to rap.

as someone who is part of this "new age rap" group (18 years old) i can completely agree with what was said at the start of the song, people dont have talent anymore, aside from the kdots and joyners, but even they have been doing it for a while and just recently gotten recognition. Knowing Eminem, I highly doubt it’s a stretch. I instantly thought of that the first time I heard this song. Plus, V for Vendetta originated from a graphic novel published in the 1980’s, then became a series published by DC Comics in the 1990’s. And we know Em is a bit of a comic book nerd.

Ive listened to this sooo many times now and on the way to the store for stoner snacks for my wife i noticed the dubstep part of the beat!! Made the song even more fire for me 😂. It bangs in the ride. Em with a dunstep vibe is fire and not something ive every envisioned, its only a partial vibration at certain parts but it definitely kicks.
