  • After over a year of chasing the Northern Snakehead I finally caught the PA fish that eluded me for far too long. In this video I show you my journey of catching the northern snakehead which includes catching snakehead using a frog, catching snakehead with soft baits and catching snakehead using spinner baits. This video contains 5 different northern snakehead that were caught in Pennsylvania including a huge snakehead that I caught shortly after catching my first one. The northern snakehead is an incredible species that is similar to the giant snakehead and bullseye snakehead.
    Lures : American Snakehead Frog King JR & Spinner baits
    Location : Delaware County (Delco), Southeastern Pennsylvania
    Featured Fish : Northern Snakehead

      Thank you! We have a decent population of them in the Philly area. They are definitely most common in southeastern PA. I have not heard of any stories yet of people catching them in western PA.
      I appreciate you checking out the video!

    Man I always see you doing some good fishing at John Heinz but I can’t for the life of me figure out where in the park you are actually fishing.
    The main lake has no fishing signs all around and the Darby creek is grody as hell. What part do you actually fish at? Maybe I didn’t walk all the way around or something but where in the park was this at?

      Thanks for checking out the video! I will caution to remember that I'm only uploading videos of the good days. There are days where I go out there and things are just okay or the bite is slow and those days never make it to the channel. I always have a hard time explaining spots at john heinz. If you are in Instagram message me there and I'll try to describe the location!

    I never went back there fishing.... Are all them spots just right off the trails and parking spots

    • @delconashvilleline
      @delconashvilleline  หลายเดือนก่อน

      They are all off trails. To be honest I walk all over the place. It can be very hit or miss and is extremely pressured. It's one of the most pressured waters that I fish.

    You need to get setup for a massive one. Upgrade that net and start setting that hook a lil harder and you will be going places. good catch...

      Thank you! I've made a ton of changes this year. Since this video came out I have upgraded the net size and gotten a lot better at fishing with the frog. I should have a new snakehead video out this month. I appreciate you checking out the video!
