They are definitely smart fish. I have been catching them for 10 years now and I think my most producing lure is probably a Ribbit frog. It's so versatile, can run it or sink it and sometimes sinking it when they follow it and seem uninterested is deadly. Welcome to the addiction!
northern snakehead are with out a doubt one of my favorite fish. I havent had the chance to target them unfortunately, but ive managed to find some bullseye down in south Florida as well as a giant of thats species. such a cool fish.

Calling a big Northern snakehead a “giant” snakehead is very confusing because Giant snakehead are a different species.
