Thanks kids. Lots of good reviews for Green River offerings. I just pulled the trigger on the Bourbon, a Wheater, and a Rye. If you guys like it, it has to be good. I love Ryes because of the complexity and especially if they are "Nice for the Price" Cheers.
I don't know if Chad baited Sara in for that second sip on purpose, or he almost forgot to plug their website and realized it last minute. Either way, it did make me laugh.
we visited the distillery and sample cask strength bourbon and wheated bourbon that i thought was better than the available bottles. we did have a local liquor store who did a single barrel bourbon pick with them.
@@Jamie-uq9sr Not familiar with stores in Bullitt, but Bday Bourbon, unless you can catch it at retail when it comes out once a year, will be at secondary prices. If you want to know what they’ll cost you can check any of the online sites or call Justins House of Bourbon.
Just be extra careful transporting any Green River bottle. The front of the bottle is VERY thin. Lost one in transport from CA....only bottle I've ever "lost". :(

@@DanDaWhiskeyMan82 It’s $45 in NC. Sometimes on sale for $40. So yeah, Budget. Not sure if you have seen any whiskey prices lately?, but that’s only $10 more than Green River. So again, yeah. Budget. Thanks for your input though. It really addresses the spirit of my comment. 🙄 Oh, and it’s 110 proof. Just saying.

I enjoy doing blinds and side by side comparisons. I wouldn’t put pikesville because of the higher proof and cost. Just like I would Not put Sagamore in even though it’s $38.00. Proof is too high. For that flight
I like the horseshoe on the bottom! I had no idea about that. Now I’m going to have to get myself an official Green River coin!
Great pour. Probably my favorite thing coming out of Green River.

Picked this up last weekend in Bardstown. Excellent! Love the 95/5!
Just picked this up, really great rye, love the Full Proof bourbon as well. Got it for $29.99 at my local Binny's. Great rye. loved the video.
Picked one up yesterday fantastic value, I hope to find some store picks of the green river line when I go to the bourbon classic in 2 weeks.

Tried both Green River and Bardstown Rye at an event at Green River….i am a little biased being from Owensboro but GR was better IMO
Excited to try this and hope they come out with Cask strength soon

Thanks for the video 🥃
Id love to see it compared or blinded with Bulleit, woodford, Rittenhouse and OF Ryes. Great Short&Sweet Vid ! Keep up the good work guys!
I'm keeping my eyes peeled for this one for sure. 🥃
Looking forward to picking this up i really liked the wheated
Short sweet #NuttySquad honey caramel marshmallow yum 🤤
I always like when something whispers "Honey" at me, even if it's my rye. 😉
WHISKEY CHEERS 😎
Help please. How can I find the Birthday bottle? Someone has to know a hint? Is it possible??
Are you talking about old forester birthday bourbon?
@@ItsBourbonNight yes!
@@ItsBourbonNight I live in Bullitt County KY

@@ItsBourbonNight thank you but I would travel anywhere around ky to find it. I guess I’ll follow the distiller for a lottery or release.

Is this their distillate or MGP?
Theirs.

I know that MGP's 95/5 rye is good stuff. 🙂
Time for a budget rye blind. Green River, Old Forester, JD Bonded, Old Overholt Bonded, Rittenhouse, Pikesville.
Pikesville 108 proof 55$
Budget???
It’s a steal of a deal and good value for the money 💵
But Budget???? I think it’s in another league

I agree with the other choices. I just feel that pikesville is in an elevated tear than those other ryes.

Got a buddy who would enjoy this. Hope I can find a bottle.
Im sorry, but really who cares about the smell. Sooo nerdy. It is the taste that counts…mic drop
Chad, you're a horrible shot.
