- Elena Rybakina's amazing 2024 continues with another trophy 🏆
The No.4 seed secured the title at the 2024 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart with a commanding straight set victory over Kostyuk.
Rybakina is the first player to reach five finals in the season's first four months since Victoria Azarenka in 2012 👏

Well-earned 3rd title of the season for Elena! She appears to look healthier than a month ago. Congrats, Ryba!
Tall, pretty, graceful, fluid strokes, always looking to attack. Probably my favorite player on the tour.
If she stays healthy and motivated there’s no reason she can’t be the best player on the circuit for quite some time, though it’s always folly to try to predict the future.
She doesn’t really have any flaws in her game. Things that can be improved, as always, but no technical flaws that I can see.
I'm watching a lot of her games and trust me there are so many problems with her game, she has uncountable many ways to improve

At the start of the season I desperately wanted her to win a 500 finally and she already has 3 now from probably the most competitive 500s of the year so far on 2 different surfaces.
She just needs to win Berlin to complete the set of 500s on different surfaces.
Who knows ? Maybe she might win Berlin. Madrid is next and I hope she gets at least to the semis. We now know that she has that player's number on clay another win against her in Madrid at whatever stage and RG is definitely on.

If Rybakina wins Madrid now she won’t lose a match in the clay season, she will win Rome and RG.
She actually does worse overall on fast clay than slow clay so if she does that well on fast clay then slow clay will be her playground.
In all honesty she is regressing heavily on grass and I am kind of worried about that. She had a horrible grass season last year so I hope she can start strong with a win in Berlin.
@@westonmeyer3110that's what puzzles me too, she won her slam on grass, and on paper looks like a perfect grass player and yet performs so poorly on grass 🤷

Technically her record on grass is good and she was coming back from illness that she was still struggling with until the indoor hardcourt season.
Her poor performance on grass last year was mostly because she lost her serve until Beijing, but mentally she might be a bit more hesitant on grass after losing to Vekic in the first match of Berlin.
If she stops getting sick she should start to win more frequently.

The final opponent Kostyuk was the least of the threat against Elena. Elena did not need 100% to beat her.
When Elena beat Iga, that was already considered the winning match for the whole tournament.
Those who plays regular tennis knows Elena is one of the most natural tennis players. Her net approach, her beautifully crafter drop shots, her power forehand and super angle double handed back hand is so nice to watch. Although she seldom slice (unless she approach the net) but her backhand slice technique is something worth watching a couple of times.
Although it's an uphill task to win French Open but I am routing her to win the 2024 if she is fully fit. Elena is pretty smart to know if she is not fit enough, she will not continue to injure herself but as you can see when she is fit........no one can stop her.
This winning performance should climb her rankings to no.2?

This will NEVER change. Native English speakers find it impossible to pronounce the vowels as in most other languages, including all of the Latin ones.
"Porsche" in German is pretty straight forward but they can't pronounce it. They either say Porsh or Porshuh.

@@yerzhankurmanbay Iga won 3 titles & went into 2 semis this year. Rybakina won 3 titles & went into 2 finals. So Rybakina is more consistent than Iga. The rest of the top 10 players are basically irrelevant with only Sabalenka who won Australian open but that's about it. & Iga is collecting massive points but Rybakina for some reasons are losing🤔
