I love that the trade off is collecting trash. That will be a monster tree one day - cheers for the vid :)
Yess great thing for nature . We collected around 14 bags full of trash 😁. And yes can't wait to see it bud
Fantástico trabajo
Muchas gracias ❤️
Awesome Carlos
Hard work bro 👊
Good luck with it mate 👊👊👊
Thanks this needs taper at the trunk but will develop
Would prefer to see that the tree survived this radical removal of roots…
If you look at my recent videos called , Late spring bonsai update you will see an update on this same tree, is doing great 😁
almost time to start collecting wild trees here in ny. ive been scouting on nice days. farm fields. woods/forest edges and cliffs are my go to places.. nice tree you dug tho!
It's always exciting to be able to collect , we don't have many interesting trees around but excited with what i collected . Farm fields are the best in my opinion , animals chewing on them create nice character . Good luck on to you 😁
Lots of work, bro. You could use a battery Sawzall but even removing a diseased shrub with truck and train is hard work. I live in Colorado and used to attempt to collect trees in the mountains where roads were being cut in but collecting on a granite mountain takes a lot of consideration and I usually have to walk away...great video and happy hunting..
I do need to get me one of those , would have definitely saved tons of work and time. I am sure there is nice options there for bonsai , here in texas is hard to find good places to collect
@lifeofbonsai If you do get a Sawzall, make sure you get a blade made for cutting branches. The teeth are more aggressive.
nice
I covered mine with a black trash bag and in a few weeks it started branching out.
That is something i should do as well , thanks for the info 😁
Eh nice work
Ayee much appreciated brother
How much root do you need to preserve?
Hi so for decideous trees as long as you have jst a few feeders or even jst the tap root it will survive
Did you have permission to dig?
Absolutely like i mentioned in the video , we made a deal with the city to collect a full bag of trash per person in exchange of digging some trees 😁
