Tried it with problematic SWITCH Games (animations too fast etc. with vsync off) with Ryujinx (30 FPS -> 60 FPS) like "Astral Chain" and "Pokemon" the Result is stellar! Far more fluid, it is really like Magic.
I found the ultimate hack using RF analog. Nobody uses analog anymore, it's dead. Apparently if you use a analog signal. The TV will except very high frame rates. What I mean is, by default your TV might be stuck on 60HZ and you can't do nothing about that. But if you use a program called "Custom Resolution Utility" and create a custom frame rate of 144.94 . You will have 145HZ. Now if you tried this refresh rate on your 60HZ that's stuck on 60HZ only. 145HZ will not work and your TV will go black. "But" if you use a HDMI to RF modulator to convert the HDMI to old ass analog tv signal. Your 60HZ tv can now except 145HZ. Your TV won't go black because it doesn't count as a HDMI cord. The TV is reading an antenna analog cable.😅 So if you had this HDMI to RF modulator. Your PC must be running first. Then you would have to scan "antenna only" channels on your TV to find the special channel you made with the modulator. Now that you have 145HZ with no problem. Use Losses Scaling to convert 145HZ into 145FPS.😅 I discovered this today. Analog is still useful to gain fps.😅 So if you had a Celeron rigged up to modulator rigged up to TV. That weak Celeron can play games in 145FPS. 😅
bro 30 fps now x4 @ 113-120 fps is still insane evolution yet every example you complained it wasnt locked @ 120 i really think motion interpolation/frame generation is a miracle always loved on my tvs as 'auto motion plus' / 'cinemotion' / 'trumotion' & some people..mostly females..complained about it..they prefer 24fps soap operas so samsung/sony/lg appeased them & backed off..for females decide household spending but all this time ive been still rocking it & im honestly astonished it exists for gaming now i would play games w/ auto motion tv & it felt fine to me but im sure input is improved now
Great video! One tip, the LS dev recommend lowering the screen resolution for 30fps games for higher quality and less bugs. So true 4K might not be a great idea for 30fps upscaling. Note that LS works in screenspace, so the actual screen resolution itself has to be lower, not just the scaling res on the games, if that make sense. I personally use Nvidia's image scaling options to change the resolutions on my 4K tv, it looks quite good and LS runs faster and look a lot better the less pixels it has to handle. I you have a 1440p monitor you're mostly fine but 4K is gonna be too much for many GPUs. Also try increasing max frame latency if you find dropped frames. If you leave it a 1 frame of latency it's gonna drop more frames for latency reasons instead of gpu power reasons.
Thanks for the info I'll definitely give the Nvidia image scaling and increasing the max frame latency a try to see how that works out. I have a 4K tv myself but keep it at 1440p because my video card doesn't support 4K 120hz and all of the tests were done at 1080p resolution because my capture card only supports 120hz at that resolution.

I was testing this out with tears of the kingdom last night,
ran it at 120 hz at 4k, completely flawless. Truly magical times.
the future is here, we don't need buggy 60 fps patches for old games anymore, this is sick
60 or even 120 fps

Brave Fencer Musashi!!!
Great video! You should also test Twilight Princess in the future
trying to use this for majoras mask on lime3ds emulator cant seem to get it working any help would be appreciated
@@grime9488 I have not used that emulator but I would be happy to try it out. I need a little more details though. What’s going wrong exactly?
any artifacts and graphical problem bro??
