When I first heard of Sriracha, I thought to myself "why would anyone want a sauce where the only redeeming quality was heat?". I was a fool. Sriracha is delicious through and through, the heat is an added bonus. Seriously, no recipe I have ever made featuring this sauce has ever turned out poorly. We need more people like this man in charge of businesses. He literally just wants everyone to be capable of having his product and nothing more, yet he's turned it into a massive success.
And he’s beaten the competitors, even though they use the name of his sauce without restriction, because he still just makes the best sauce and sells it for the lowest price. If this guy wasn’t literally the only one to ever act like this in business, capitalism would actually work.
Gotta admire the confidence the guy has. He very much knows people are ripping off his sauce, but is confident enough in the quality of his product that he figures people will eventually buy that instead of the knockoffs.
"No tear gas being made here" had me spluttering with laughter. Based on this video alone i love this guy, and the entire story behind him and his brand. Will try his sauce. I'll gladly give a guy like that a chance. Haven't heard of the product before because you don't see it here in Denmark, but i've already found one danish web shop that sells it :-P Anyways: Much kudos to you for mentioning both american and european measurements. Makes the videos easy to follow. Thanks :)
Californian here, and it's a wonderful wonderful thing for just about any food... I love a basic meal of scrambled eggs mixed with brown rice from time to time, and mixing in Hoy Fong sriracha (instead of, say, soy sauce) makes the whole thing incredibly delicious. If you can import even a small bottle, do it! It goes with most things, and I want to hear about any uniquely Danish foods that work with it! Please share!
Well that explains it. He's right. When sriracha started getting popular on social media I tried two different brands and hated them. They were absolutely disgusting, like spoiled sweet fish. Horrendous. I decided I hated sriracha until last year when someone had the real huy fong sriracha and I recognized it as the actual bottle people had in social media. I tried it, and loved it.
It's a blessing, otherwise everything would be so fucking expensive that we would be like in medieval times were only the extremely rich had good lifes.
Thousands of small businesses follow his approach. It's just uncommon for said people to be able to grow their businesses further than a 1-5 person operation, as people usually don't care enough about locally produced products to pay more for them. The food industry is one of the only manufacturing industries that the price difference between local and imported goods is small enough that said local manufacturers can survive.
Yeah, it's a shame, but it doesn't have to be. You know how to make more businessmen adopt Tran's approach to business? Don't buy from the ones who don't, and exclusively (while loudly proclaiming to everyone) buy from ones who do. Don't be shy and tell the ones who don't at every turn why you won't buy their products. It doesn't take a boycott, as all businesses with any marketing savvy realize that the last thing they need is people out there telling their friends and neighbors NOT to buy their product, and will feel the pressure as more and more people follow suit. In the end, you vote for the business environment you want with your wallet.
And now I'm even happier to have been introduced to sriracha sauce. There's been a Huy Fong bottle in every place I've lived and worked for the past six years.
If all business owners were like him, capitalism would work the way it’s supposed to. I bought so much of this sauce not even knowing about this and I’m glad I did.
I remember sitting down in a little bar/ restaurant in Korea, where I was stationed back in 2003. I ordered a bowl of beef ramen. There on the table I saw a mysterious bottle of a red paste with a red roster on it. I tried it in my ramen and was instantly hooked and still use it on almost everything.
Jim Redtalon ... hey thats about the same time i started using it! we had a new roommate in our house and the house rules were everyone gets a shelf in the fridge to themselves, but anything put on the door shelves was considered public domain....and the new guy put this weird bottle of sauce with a rooster on it in the door fridge...we tried it and i swiped it and put it on my shelf lol....then a misunderstanding ensued...once we explained it to him a second time he was like ohhhhh ok...so i gave it back and ran out immediately and bought my own....been using ever since on just about everything......especially good on eggs

well what he earns has already way surpassed the amount the keep the roof over his head, hasn't it? If he liked money that much he could have done many things to profit more, but as you can see he doesn't do that. The only explanation is that he genuinely liked to give people sauce.
i believe another reason it was dropped was that it was revealed that at the time that the guy was claiming to be "sick" theyre werent even crushing peppers. they only use fresh peppers so they can only do it during harvest time before going into fermentation.
The OC Register did several reports on the lawsuit. The main person who complained and on the lawsuit is a brother of one of Irwindale councilman. Apparently Tran didn't contribute to the councilman campaign fund when asked. The lawsuit was dropped when the story went out. It was dirty as hell.
I was never aware of what made different Sriracha sauces different. This video has convinced me. I will now make sure I only buy Mr Tran's sauce, especially seeing all the people here saying how much better the brand is! :) How long does it keep being a "fresh" sauce? I'm assuming it is sealed right?
danaphanous It is definitely, in my opinion, a superior sauce. Combine that with his story, and the way he runs the company, it will definitely make you feel warm inside!
Great video. I still remember the first time I had Sriracha sauce. It was about fifteen years ago at a small Asian takeout place at the Hoboken NJ Transit train station. It was the best chili sauce I had ever tasted and, as soon as I could find it, I bought a bottle. We've been using it ever since. As someone else said, it goes with everything -- fried rice, ham sandwiches, tuna salad, even brownies.
I don't live in the US, but I would have voted for Trump. This guy is awesome, and he exemplifies the American Dream. You're generalising a large group of people in the exact way you claim the other side is doing. Look in the mirror.
I remember when I was in college and constantly broke that Sriracha sauce was available at the local canned foods warehouse. It was a place poor people could stretch their budgets buying canned food that was either recently expired or dented, sometimes even both. It was extremely inexpensive at less than a dollar for a huge bottle because people had no idea what it was or how great the stuff really is. Twenty-five years later it's extremely popular and found everywhere from prepackaged salty snacks to gourmet kitchens and fast food restaurants. Impressive story!
we didn't get it here in Sydney Australian supermarkets till couple of years ago so we would get friends and family who visited the US to bring it in. I remember I got a bottle of it as a gift 10 yrs ago on my 21st bday and cried of happiness cos it was the best. Lol. for the love of chilli sauce!!!
Not to mention that he apparently can't keep up with the demand of the people who know that his sauce is better, so what does he need even more demand for? They'll come over to him as they find him and as he's ready for them. It's a very calm sort of business sense.
If everyone in the world would have this sort of attitude, this would be a near perfect world. You just do good things for the sake of doing good with no ulterior motives.
I remember watching a documentary on him on netflix or something like that where he talked about coming home and not being able to hold his kid because the chili oils that were still all over his skin. Gotta respect a man who sacrifices a chance to hold their child to bring amazing sauce at affordable prices.
I remember “discovering” Sri Racha years ago. I introduced it to my family and they became enamored with it as well. It sounds weird, but I remember feeling proud when I heard that Sriracha was the #1 condiment in the world, and I had been buying it for years before all the attention it received.

I once heard someone say that there is no better advertising campaign than a reputation for excellence. Just look at the British Car manufacturer Rolls Royce. Since 1904 they have been making among the worlds best motor cars and aircraft engines and are so famous as a result that their name is practically synonymous with quality and when was the last time they actually had to advertise.
I love his goals, and I love that no big company can understand them. He's just dude who wants to make sure that you can get some hot-sauce, if you want it. In my head cannon, the only thing that makes this man cry, is the image of some man with a saucless burrito, wishing it had a bit of a kick.

Back around 1970 I had a friend who had lived in Vietnam with his Dad who worked some kind of civilian contractor job. He and his Dad lived as civilians among the Vietnamese and adopted some of their tastes. one of which was Sriracha chili sauce in elaborate glass bottles. It was not the same as the sauce we are now so familiar with. This was as sweet as it was hot, they had returned with several cases they told me,as shipping their belongings from Vietnam, cost them next to nothing. I liked it very much but have never located it since.

It's absolutely delicious. I first had it on pepperoni pizza (an Italian-inspired American institution). There started my love affair for sriracha and other flavorful hot sauces to boot.
I'm impressed. I mean to find this product as far as Lebanon, and found tobasco making a similar Sriracha sauce, I decided to buy both and give them a try. Huy Fong was always my favorite. Knowing the story behind it, really I'm left without words. Thank you.
Most Thais are surprised when they learn about HuyFong's Sriracha and the craze Americans have for it. Sriracha sauce has existed in Thailand for so long and every Thais are familiar with it. Many Thais are even upset when people say HuyFong's Sriracha is the original.
The american original. Its similar how italians invented pizza with no pepperoni but pepperoni is the classic style pizza, because it was the first style that became popular, that people knew, and its our standard, our golden rule of how pizzas taste. And its not only the US. In all latin america there is asian food and the Sriracha sauce tends to be served alongside. We dont have a lot of Thai immigrants or Thai food (like in the US, the sriracha has become some asian fusion basic ingredient served with chinese food, etc), so to us, Sriracha is the standard for such sauces.
cHemon I agree, it's not fair to folks who have been making and enjoying good chili sauces for decades to be accused of ripping off another product. Hopefully after this more people will see that just because the Rooster Sauce we've grown to love here in the US is the most readily available to many, doesn't mean that other versions can't be delicious and legitimate.
If those old Thai sauces were available to us then we'd credit those more for us being able to acquire them. A sauce that we can't buy might as well not exist.
Wow. What a top tier, grade-A person! I'm sure we could all be better if we had his mindset. I was introduced to Sriracha about a decade ago, and since then, I have never been without a bottle of it in the fridge. It's the perfect amount of spice and flavor for just about anything, from eggs, to burritos, steak, chicken, or just plain old white rice. It's as versatile as salt, in my opinion! I'd love to meet the man himself, shake his hand, thank him, and hear stories of his youth. He is truly an inspiration.
Original Sriracha is from Thailand Sri "Glory" Racha "King" or Glory of the King from that town that Simon mentioned earlier in the clip Tran's version is slightly different
thailand should appreciate him naming it like that, his sauce surely is a little difference from the thai's version. he could name it anything he wanted, but he didn't. rooster was year he was born, huy feng name of ship that rescued him, sriracha the partial influence.
Sriracha is where they made Sriracha chili sauce long before Tran's version, the taste of mayonnaise and ranch is different. Tran next move could be Rooster Worcester sauce or Tabasco Oh la la
I should have mentioned it separately, I meant Tran's Siracha is his own recipe and nothing like Original Sriracha. That's my point. He could name it differently, just like Tapatio hot sauce. btw It was his choice. I came across lots of millennial and they thought Tran's Rooster Sriracha is the Original. I kinda know facts don't matter these day people just go by what they like.
I first tasted sriracha when I was 6 yrs old from a vietnamese friend, back in 1980, just sriracha in between 2 pieces of bread, in a cold morning school day. I remember how it burned so sweetly my taste buds. I fell in love with it and it became my best sauce to go to once I grew up and can buy my own. Still using, almost on a daily basis. It can be used on anything, literally.
Hey, whoever did editing for this episode should take another look. There were a few spelling errors on some of the quotes that were posted on the video. Loved the content though! 😉
Sriraja Panich bought the recipe from the sweet little old lady who made the original like 80 years ago. It's delish... similar to Huy Fong's fantastic sauce but a bit more garlic and another flavor i can't identify. A bit hard to find though ... ordered a bottle online... Shipped from Thailand.
Well yeah it would be weird to trademark the name "sriracha" seeing as how the sauce itself is from the town of Si Racha Thailand. The rooster sauce as we know it is better suited for western palettes and compared to other variations it relies on heat more, and some would argue feels less balanced. I'm not knocking the sauce though, I'm a fan and always keep a bottle at the house.
Oh wow......I love the guy who created Sriracha now. I am going out to buy a big bottle of Sriracha tonight. I am also throwing away that counterfeit Sriracha away cause it tastes like crap.

This good guy's generosity would probably make EA shotgun vomit profusely.
Ha
FingerDawg integrity is underrated. There's no reason you can't keep your customers happy and be successful. It's boosting your PR to make you more popular. Just a different angle.
I disagree completely. I've always said that the highest potential a business can reach can only be achieved by a forward-thinking, progressive, inclusive and generous mentality.
FingerDawg That's true but EA is just greedy. They went too far with the loot crates in "Star Wars: Battlefront II".
FingerDawg You sound like a greedy fuck. Respect and trust should be first in any passionate business ideal, you're going down the wrong path, and I hope you mature in the future.
His generosity equaled a great, lasting legacy.
Jo King generosity*
It's almost as if honest business practices pay for themselves
Holy shit who would have known
it's almost as if good products sell themselves. As if people actually recognize and appreciate quality when it slaps them in the face, or something.
No one cheats an honest man.
If only companies like EA could learn from this...
The fact that he has never advertised definitely drives that fact home lol.
Gotta admire the confidence the guy has. He very much knows people are ripping off his sauce, but is confident enough in the quality of his product that he figures people will eventually buy that instead of the knockoffs.
Now I want to go and buy one coz I appreciate the owner 😋
And I need to get another bottle. The one I've got is almost out.
Doing the same. Never tried it but I’m willing to support the company after seeing this👍
Kelly Harris I always make sure to have some in my house
Got one today. Lol.
Logan Landry how do you like it? I just don’t like the taste.
"No tear gas being made here" had me spluttering with laughter. Based on this video alone i love this guy, and the entire story behind him and his brand. Will try his sauce. I'll gladly give a guy like that a chance. Haven't heard of the product before because you don't see it here in Denmark, but i've already found one danish web shop that sells it :-P
Anyways: Much kudos to you for mentioning both american and european measurements. Makes the videos easy to follow. Thanks :)
Its delicious. Go give it a shot.
Halløj du! Jeg har aldrig selv turde smage det, men det er meget populært på efterskolen, så tror helt klart de andre elever kan anbefale det;)
Try it on bacon and fried egg sandwiches, it goes so well. Or just add it to scrambled egg on toast, yummy.
The first time I ever tried the sauce was in Denmark (København) - rema 1000 might have it?
Well that explains it. He's right. When sriracha started getting popular on social media I tried two different brands and hated them. They were absolutely disgusting, like spoiled sweet fish. Horrendous. I decided I hated sriracha until last year when someone had the real huy fong sriracha and I recognized it as the actual bottle people had in social media. I tried it, and loved it.
It's a shame more businessmen don't adopt Mr. Trans civic-minded, product-focused, locally-sourced approach to business.
Alan S. Hale They'd rather be making 10-20 cents more for every product they sell so they choose the scummy route
It's a blessing, otherwise everything would be so fucking expensive that we would be like in medieval times were only the extremely rich had good lifes.
WertzOne what part of "sriracha is good and dirt cheap" did you not understand
This right here!
capitalism calls for constant increase in profit and constant growth. It's not supposed to be like his company.
It’s because of capitalism that he was able to do it. Why didn’t he stay in the communist Vietnam. Oh right they starved to death
@@surfmadpig LMAO! You don't know how right you are. th-cam.com/video/EYdU1X2p2ro/w-d-xo.html
So you were in Korea, where you ate ramen, which you used Sriracha sauce with. You practically toured Asia without even leaving the restaurant!
I don't buy much sriracha, but after seeing this, I'm only buying Huy Fong.
Insederec, ME TOO!
That's their business model working 100%. Generosity is free advertising for an exceptionally high quality product.
which taco bell packet does it taste like?
i've tried several different sriracha sauces and he's not kidding when he says that huy fong is the best! love that stuff! :)
There are others? This is like the only Asian hit sause that my family use. In fact I don't recall any asian store not selling Huy Fong sause.
Huy Fong is the best Sriracha chili sauce, bar none. My wife buys it in the 17 oz. bottle size and we go through a bottle every 3 weeks or so.
If there was a "better" one then it wouldn't be sriracha sauce.
Work for money and you'll never have enough.
Work for fun and money becomes a happy accident.
that is a great way of thinking!
he never said it was fun
Gathering No Moss if it's not for money and it's not fun then what did he do it for? Is he a masochist?
To keep a roof over his head. Of course he runs a business for the money he makes from it. Who said it wasn't? All businesses exist for that reason. I'm sure he has a beautiful expensive lifestyle.
well what he earns has already way surpassed the amount the keep the roof over his head, hasn't it? If he liked money that much he could have done many things to profit more, but as you can see he doesn't do that. The only explanation is that he genuinely liked to give people sauce.
Welp, this video just sold a bottle. Never tried it before but i'd love to support him
Theo H it's good stuff, only saricha to buy is his rooster sauce
You haven't lived until you've put Sriracha on your Sriracha
How was it?
It's delicious. And I don't even like hot sauce.
Put with noodles! Delicious.

It turned out only one person complained about the factory. That’s why the lawsuit went nowhere.
ha thats very funny if its true, i can totally see it too some person got a nose bleed and blames a big company
The city is basically controlled by one family, and a stooge of the family filed the complaint to get more money out of the company.
i believe another reason it was dropped was that it was revealed that at the time that the guy was claiming to be "sick" theyre werent even crushing peppers. they only use fresh peppers so they can only do it during harvest time before going into fermentation.
malefecent When was this?
The OC Register did several reports on the lawsuit. The main person who complained and on the lawsuit is a brother of one of Irwindale councilman. Apparently Tran didn't contribute to the councilman campaign fund when asked. The lawsuit was dropped when the story went out. It was dirty as hell.
Try the Huy Fong Chili Garlic Sauce. It's chunkier and has seeds in it with a bigger kick.
I love them both for different foods.
Also their sambal oelek... so good.
I prefer this one.
I like their Chili Garlic sauce better than Sriracha, it has a tanginess to it that wakes up the flavor in bland foods.
This sauce also mixes well with honey.
The fact that his mission is simply to make enough sauce for those who want it is freaking adorable. I’m going to go buy a bottle tomorrow.
Go Tran!!!!!
Wooh!
Why thank you!!!!!
Adam Smith what? I assume you're trolling or something?
This is proof that unbridled greed is not the same as business acumen. God speed sir, best of fortunes Today I Found Out
The truth is that an exceptional product doesn't need advertising. Word of mouth is enough for a product as outstanding as this!
NolePtr Indeed!!

Stan V Really? He has shut down the US. #ahem
Evonne Okafor I don't know what that means.
DeeGirl Ever since a few years ago, it's been on Woolworths shelves regularly. It's amazing! Everyone in my family loves.
How a business should be. Sell a great product that speaks for itself.
Thanks for that great story.
Sriracha Sauce warms my body, and after this video, it warms my heart.
4:02 believes his company still makes the best siracha so customers will buy his instead... what a fucking baller
he ain’t wrong
Not to mention that he apparently can't keep up with the demand of the people who know that his sauce is better, so what does he need even more demand for? They'll come over to him as they find him and as he's ready for them. It's a very calm sort of business sense.
Well, he is the only one making it from fresh ingredients, which they explain is redicously hard for a large production company.
simgen x It's not ridiculously hard. All food starts with a fresh ingredient. It's not easier to dry it first.
Gathering No Moss You would be sad to know how wrong you are.

Bless Tran and his hot sauce. What great guy. If only more CEOs were like him.
I remember watching a documentary on him on netflix or something like that where he talked about coming home and not being able to hold his kid because the chili oils that were still all over his skin. Gotta respect a man who sacrifices a chance to hold their child to bring amazing sauce at affordable prices.
Joseph Medina why am i laughing at this
I remember “discovering” Sri Racha years ago. I introduced it to my family and they became enamored with it as well. It sounds weird, but I remember feeling proud when I heard that Sriracha was the #1 condiment in the world, and I had been buying it for years before all the attention it received.
This is a hot story! But Simon, I'm not sure about all this... can you tell me where your sauces come from?
Seriously though, our esteemed Mr Tran is one awesome fella, it's a pity more big businesses don't have this big hearted approach to business.
there is a documentary you can watch for it
Thanks Kobe, I was enjoying the nice little break this video gave me from all of the mire that is going on in the world & my own life when I hit upon this stellar comment & my bubble burst. There are billions & billions of videos to post this on, if you could please leave the heartwarming ones out of the crusade that would be great. Also, if TH-cam fails life will go on
The sad thing is, an approach like Tran's could not make a big business :(
Navoda. You had watched the video right?
I wouldn't call $100 million in revenue huge but it certainly is big.
Damn.. This guy is like the opposite of Apple O.o
"HeartWARMING"
There is a cute pun in that....
The world needs more would like him!
I love this story. It's nice to be able to buy and enjoy a product knowing the people making it are doing good in the world.
A rare feeling.
The one dislike is from Taco Bell who got called out LOL.
I love his goals, and I love that no big company can understand them. He's just dude who wants to make sure that you can get some hot-sauce, if you want it. In my head cannon, the only thing that makes this man cry, is the image of some man with a saucless burrito, wishing it had a bit of a kick.
Tran is a perfect example of someone doing one thing really well. Clearly, his sauce is his passion.
Another reason to boycott Taco Bell.
Arik Wolf .....they have no honor
Why? He doesn't mind, he called it free publicity.
Taco Bell is digusting anyways.
Fake meat wasn't enough for some people?
Yeah let's boycott Taco Bell!!!! I'm gonna chain myself to the tables inside. 1 hour passes* I'm ordering tacos and a chicken quesadilla. I have better things to do than boycott a fast food joint. Like talk trash about Trump and his incredibly tiny hands.
I literally had to run to the kitchen to check if i had the original one. I do and i shed a little manly tear of joy hearing about this dude. Thx.
HuyFong Sriracha can be anything but the original.
What an inspiring person.
I can't live without this Siracha sauce. I can't imagine myself living without it. I pour this sauce on everything I eat. You can also mix it with other sauce to maximize the taste!! I use it in my Japanese ramen noodle, Korean instant ramen noodle, Viet noodles, fried rice, pizza, burgers, chicken nuggets, all kinds of pasta, cheese steak, hotdogs, salad, soup, wings, etc.!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 I CAN JUST DRINK STRAIGHT FROM THE BOTTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's dedication
Not even going to lie here, I love it with basically everything too
just imagine the misery of living in Europe
You can’t live without it but you can’t even spell it right? Seems legit
As the video notes, the sauce is named after a town in Thailand, which is actually pronounced "see-rah-cha", not "ser-atch-a".
Actually it's see-rotch-ah
What a Great American! The world needs more people like this!
AndroidDoctorr keep illegal immigrants out not all immigrants dumbass
@@kuuna. He was an asylum seeker, just like all these people locked up at the border and branded "illegal". They aren't illegal, they are seeking asylum and being denied.

A myth. People in the US love to sue.
Never thought I'll see the day americans outside the asian community would like this sauce.
la lala its good on everything
not only americans. im german and use it almost daily for years. its also extremely common at asian, turkish and other fastfood places
Try going out of your cave once in a while
It's absolutely delicious. I first had it on pepperoni pizza (an Italian-inspired American institution). There started my love affair for sriracha and other flavorful hot sauces to boot.
Norway here, got a bottle sitting in my fridge too. Great sauce.
I first had this sause in prison I was so excited to see it on the shelf when I was out. Love the Sriracha
I'm impressed. I mean to find this product as far as Lebanon, and found tobasco making a similar Sriracha sauce, I decided to buy both and give them a try. Huy Fong was always my favorite. Knowing the story behind it, really I'm left without words. Thank you.
Damn this dude sounds like a really decent person! I take my hat off to him.
We dont have a lot of Thai immigrants or Thai food (like in the US, the sriracha has become some asian fusion basic ingredient served with chinese food, etc), so to us, Sriracha is the standard for such sauces.
omgtkseth
It's all OK for me and I understand your point, except when people call other older Sriracha brands from Thailand "cheap knock-offs" . :)
th-cam.com/video/u5AZhjhbxf8/w-d-xo.html
cHemon I agree, it's not fair to folks who have been making and enjoying good chili sauces for decades to be accused of ripping off another product.
This man seems extremely wholesome. I’ve never really tried any of his sauces but I will now!
Awwww that was the most lovely of stories!
Sriracha does have an advertising department. It’s TIFO, and they deserve a frickin raise. Out for a bottle now.
What a brilliant man and story. Passion for his product rather than the profit. A truly humbling tale.
A good man, indeed, and I always have a fresh bottle of the Sriracha in the house... and the garlic chilli sauce.
Another reason to like this stuff! Mix it with your favorite ranch dressing for an awesome dipping sauce.
Mix with mayonnaise for great sandwich spread!!
He is truly an inspiration.
what a lovely story. thank you for bringing it to us.
Tran next move could be Rooster Worcester sauce or Tabasco Oh la la
odaily yes that was already covered and it was made clear that Tran just wanted to bring sauce to the community he moved to. He just likes sauce
I hope he finds this video and reads all the comments, it’s so full of love for the man. He deserves is, lots of respect!

If you're interested in more, I suggest checking out the short 30 minute documentary "Sriracha". It's on Amazon Prime in the US.
This is a business man I can respect in every way. Love this channel and Sriracha sauces.
If a factory hung a banner outside that read "No tear gas made here" I would suspiciously think there was tear gas being made there.

Randy King thank you for true information. The original Thai version tastes way better than the copycat Vietnamese rooster.
Please try original test of Sriracha Panich..from everywhere you can buy
Well yeah it would be weird to trademark the name "sriracha" seeing as how the sauce itself is from the town of Si Racha Thailand. The rooster sauce as we know it is better suited for western palettes and compared to other variations it relies on heat more, and some would argue feels less balanced. I'm not knocking the sauce though, I'm a fan and always keep a bottle at the house.
Wow, just faith in your product. Honest, unshakable faith in your product. That's just so inspiring. What a great heartwarming thing to find.
Oh wow......I love the guy who created Sriracha now. I am going out to buy a big bottle of Sriracha tonight.
I am also throwing away that counterfeit Sriracha away cause it tastes like crap.
Bill23799 no joke, I tried other sirachas and they don’t hold a candle to the original. Maybe it’s just nostalgia factor growing up with it but all the copycats don’t have that special kick.
You guys are entirely correct. Any imitation sriracha just leads to disappointing meals.
