I have both, the OG is perfect partner for everyday companion, in fact suitable in any occasion, for me at least. The gold one has luxurious appearance!
They have the same backlight but the gold seems to catch the light and spread it a bit better making the minutes and seconds easier to read. However it normal daylight the gold is slightly harder to read. Both are great.
I just found out myself from another video. Apparently the viewing angle is a bit worse because of the golden foil but it does wonder for the light. I'm not sure what it means. I've been wearing my A163 for 4 years and even if the battery is still going strong if i look directly at it the fonts look a bit washed out but at an angle it's crispy clear. Cheers!
I’ve been comparing the accuracy of the two variants and the gold is surprisingly more accurate. It gains about 6 seconds a month whereas the blue gains about 9 seconds.
Really dig the gold. Honestly I wish they would make an upgraded f91 which just an illuminator and possibly autolight. Instead we have to have a bigger version with wonky looking numbers, no bueno. If anything I would love a collectors edition with mentioned improvements and a steel case and same band on the a1100. I’d pay 150 bucks for that no questions asked. Throw on some sapphire while they’re at it and 100m WR now we’re cooking with gas
Is the strap the same? My F91 (blue ring) the strap just broke, I guess from being too old (bought it maybe 10 years ago). Wondering if the strap is any better on the F-91WG. I guess it's not a big deal though since replacing it every 10 years isn't bad for such a cheap watch lol.
I love both of these watches however I have yet to see anyone wearing a Casio F-91WG-9S...It reminds me slightly of the JPS Formula One car from the 1970s. The gold against the black looks really nice... I may add this watch to my ever-growing collection of Casio watches in the future. Can I ask if you have ever tested the accuracy of these watches? Thank you for this video
@@wristaction 10-15 Seconds a Month seems average for the Casio F91w ..It says an accuracy of +/- 30 Seconds per month in the manual for the module 593 which is fitted in the F91w.. However, they always seem to be better than this. Long live Casio digital watches.
HELLO HOW IS EVERYTHING ! , AS A COLLECTOR WHICH I HAVE BEEN FOR YEARS , I HAVE THE F 91, AMONG OTHERS , BUT I STAY WITH THE F 91 WG. IT INCORPORATES MORE LIGHT THAN THE CLASSIC F 91, AND SOUNDS A LITTLE BITTER . DESIGN OUT OF THE BOX , AS I SAY , IT'S VERY COOL . I GIVE THE F 91 WG A 10 , AND YOU ANOTHER 10 FOR THE CHANNEL. THANK YOU SO MUCH . GREETINGS ! . 😉🙋🏻♂️
I have the blue, green and gold variants. Love them all!
I really like the green one as well.

Golden one is for special occasions

great video!! the F91WG ok for my surf?? hugs!!!
@@juaanfernandes officially it is only splash proof but there are plenty of videos showing it being used in the sea.
Finally! The Video we all NEEDED!
Surprisingly the golden foil makes the same led microlight work better.
@@silvervisage5096 It does indeed! I should have put that in the video.

91WG = Perfect green light 👌🏻
Hard election but i prefer the gold

What a good idea for a collector’s edition. I’m sure that would sell out if they released one.

they are the same, but the one one the blue feels softer. Probably because I have had it for longer.

Long live Casio digital watches.
In life, you can't beat the original of anything for that matter...it has to be good or else they would not bother trying to improve upon it.
Is the light better in gold version?
both the same. Gold looks better in the video because it has a newer battery.
The blue one of course, the gold one is to flashy.

Which is easier to read?
The standard display (blue ring) is easier to read, but there is very little in it.
I really dont mind listening to you.
The Gold one😊
