Thank you for making these videos. To be honest I didn’t do good at all with budgeting etc for 2023 so this year I’m making the time to actually set goals and focus. So it’s always encouraging to hear from people who also have their own goals and it feels less overwhelming for me seeing other people who are also on their journey. ❤️-Kira

I love your spreadsheet. im currently a planner budgeter which I love but might also look into the budget spreadsheet you are using as i love the year overview it gives. Thanks for your real updates. I have a question about the spreadsheet - how does it work if you spend from your savings? For example, you’re allocating money to your savings for the US trip. Is it possible when you spend that money to specify that you’re spending from that savings pot, not from your income that month?

Also, another question lol. If you are going out to eat and have a couple drinks. Do you break the paycheck down into your eating out fund and alcohol fund? Or just have it as one combined expense? I like the idea of having more specific categories to really track how much I spend in each, but worried it will be too much of a hassle to go back and divide all of the expenses if it one paid at one time.

I completely agree I love the spreadsheet, I didn't start using until mid year though. I actually contacted Coplenty to ask about the rollover, I was confused and didn't understand how to use it. ! I have made contact with them again and they have explained it to me step by step and have it sorted. They are so helpful if anyone else is not savvy like me and gets stuck. I was trying to enter the "rollover" amount but it is automated!! how cool is that. I also wish I was that clever. Also hoping you can tell me your thoughts on paying bills before they come and the bill comes it is in credit. I like it and it has been my go to method for a while but I want to start off the new year right and so at the end of the year I can have a true reflection on income, bills etc. Thanks for sharing. Are you still going to do the videos with going through your budget?
