I listened to this song when it first came out ! At that time , I was dealing with major depression , anxiety suicidal thoughts and fear of the unknown ! I remember listening to this song over and over and just declaring these words , “you never failed me yet !” Today, I am free of those mental battles ! I accepted God as my savior and baptized about 2 years ago and today I serve the lord as I never did before ! Thank you you lord for never failing us ! Thank you lord for moving mountains and for making a way when there was no way! Thank you for your salvation!

We have all seen God move mountains. We will see him do it again. Im believing that God will move the mountain that is my college tuition. This level of worship is what gets me through life. God will use this worship to touch and reach people as it has to me. Prayers!

This song is wonderful. The only thing is the part where it says “You have never failed me yet”. That word “yet” makes it sound like Jesus will at some point fail us. Elevation Worship, you guys are awesome, just take the word “Yet” out of that song. Keep doing what you’re doing! God bless!
Kevin P remember in our earthly minds we feel failed by many in our lives or have been failed by many. YET here for us is a word we adopt until we realize that failure in God never actually comes. All the yet represents is a zero in the loss column-but you have to have the loss column to show this sick and dying world there’s nothing in it!!! God never failed, isn’t failing currently, and never will fail in the future.

I thought the same thing then came to realize how we say “Yet” waiting for God to fail us. And every time he doesn’t it seems to good to be true😩 but that’s God he NEVER fails period!
That's our declaration every single day. The word "yet" means for the present time and in the future. Not yet. Not ever. :)
