You make it all look so simple. Hope you settle in and enjoy your new surroundings. Just spent an hour or so practicing and seem to be getting there with the figures now. Thanks for the inspiration to do so.
Brilliant amazing how you've again calmly planned out what you're looking to achieve Lois, enjoyable video inspiring others how to create and getting result using minimum colours with detail depth and colour shadow impressions. Thanks greatly appreciated Lois stay safe and healthy, hope all goes swinging in settling in your new surroundings
There's such an over all calm feeling with this painting. With a head heaving with rubbish, it's just the kind of thing I welcome with glee. I'm making this my next project, and maybe a little warmer. Here's the nosey old man bit, have you moved away from the south downs, or just across the way> I'm in Farnborough, and have been to those down a number of time to visit friends and family, in Brighton, Bognor, and as for over as camber sands.
Thank you so much for this.. I was looking for something to use up my leftover paints... I still have a long way to go but I'm happy with how mine came out for my first try
I’ve just seen this, what a peaceful and beautiful scene. I’ve never had my surface tilted; is there a proper way to do that? Thank you for your help and great tutorials.
Beautiful. Thanks Lois. Just curious. What do you use to set the paper on? Metal or something? Any idea where I could get one? I have a small piece of thin plywood. And it’s awful. The tape rips it up and makes it ridged. Thanks Barry
Thanks Barry, I use cheap A3 canvas covered boards used for acrylic and oil painting cheap from a discount shop, I tape my paper on the back of the board. They do warp slightly with use but other than that they suit me fine
