A lot of people could do with watching this instead of asking the same question over and over again. Do you think the DJI OSMO MOBILE 2 would have helped with the Samsung Galaxy S8 shots? I have that phone and the Osmo Mobile 2 and I'm heading to London for the weekend so see it as a great opportunity to shoot stock.

Thank you for this video. I’ve been thinking if smartphones footage are “allowed” to be sold as stock but thanks for debunking this. I’ve started to shoot clips of footage of a stadium in Malaysia using my phone on 4K resolution. I’m not sure whether it’s gonna sell but, yeah, it’s a good practice for me. Maybe you could use FiLMiC Pro apps instead of using the native camera app 😊

Good to see you labelling commercial/editorial. What do you do if all your trains or buses have logos on the front? I can imagine using a TransPerth bus in a commercial shoot because of its link to Perth.
Just got a gimbal i am trying to make around 15 to 30 clips a day do you recommended any tips on a better work flow except Black Box. Also i live in London what sort of clips would you recommend except landmarks and more towards commercial i also have access to a model.
You place a lot of emphasis on the 4K thing. Isn't 1080p good enough? To me it doesn't make all that much difference, is it industry standard now to do 4K?
I only have my iphone8+ to get all of my clips and have them to BB, waiting for them to sell. But Im really anxious if the quality is ok like the sharpness though I get good focus. Im just a starter and wondering how “good quality” that sell looks like, using your mobile.

I'm confused. Don't you need a lot of paperwork for the editorial shots where it says 'logos and people' for example? Where are you going to get the permissions to put those shots up on stock websites? Or have I got this the wrong way. Could someone please explain the difference between commercial and editorial, because I don't seem to understand... Thanks! Like the fire truck for example. There is no way for you to ever get people to sign the right papers needed to get this clip onto a stock website. Am I right?
Sadly you Can't get away with that in the U.S. As soon as you break out a camera in The United States?, you're immediately stopped and told to put that away or you will be detained and arrested.
That depends on which agency sells it for black box Antony. If it was VB then you'd get $85 where if it was someone like SS then you'd get closer to the $30 Mark

You can sell the 1080p. 4K makes more money for you, i believe.

You should use the Filmic app and bump up the bit rate.
