  • I replaced and resealed the oil pan that was leaking on my 1995 Toyota Camry, 5S-FE engine. For the Toyota 5S-FE engine, Toyota recommends Toyota Seal Packing 103 for the oil pan.

Thanks for the video. I just did my oil pump seals that were leaking then I seen how bad the oil pan looked. Watching you do it I now know what I looking at. My 3 rusty exhaust nuts are where I'm going to start!

You're welcome, P Ash. The FIP (form in place) Toyota sealant worked liked a charm. No more leaks or seepage from the oil pan! Thanks for watching my videos.

The job went well, unfortunately I couldn’t get the exhaust off because the nuts wouldn’t release and was worried about shearing the studs but was careful enough to work around it and not scrape any sealant off, good advice to get the Toyota sealant as there are no leaks👍

I had to change the bearings on my crank and had to remove that component obviously to get to it. I have yet to be able to find out what that is. I believe it is an aspect of my oil pump but I can't be sure and I was wondering if you found out what it is

You're welcome, A Armenar. Thank you for taking the time to leave such a nice comment. I hope the video helps you. My oil pan doesn't leak any more, and I'm thrilled I changed and resealed the pan. It worked out great.

@@frugaldiy1 I have a 2005 Corolla. But I like watching several videos for tips and ideas (like stud bolts!) and build confidence before I attempt it.
Congratulations on no leak. It has to feel good to see you know what you are doing. lol

Yes, the stud bolts are a huge help. They were about 64 cents a piece at the Toyota dealership. I have confidence you can do the job!
